...As a lot of you will know, I have been using Pantene shampoo and conditioner for a number of years now and love it, but with me being a student and having no money the majority of the time....and also being an Avon rep, I decided to try out some of Avons shampoos and conditioners. On recommendation by a friend, I bought the Advance Techniques straight and sleek shampoo and conditioner....seen as at the moment I use Pantene smooth and sleek, I figured they would pretty much be the same thing. At the time that I bought them, they were in a 3 for £6 offer (normally £2.50 each) for 250ml bottles, which I thought wasn't too bad in comparison to Pantene which costs me nearly £4. Avon's Advanced Leave In Conditioner

Advantages: Lots of Uses one product.
Disadvantages: You can use too much

...I can write this knowing that I know this product very well and have used it for years. The years when my hair was permed and the product was pink, came in a huge bottle and was simply called Quick Touch. For a lot of years then Avon and I parted company, only to be rediscoved a couple of years ago when we moved house. I like the quality of service that you get from Avon, plus you can have quality products at a reasonable cost delivered to your door. Quite an 'Advanced Technique' for Avon

Advantages: A small amount goes a long way, leaves hair easy to comb (no tangles/knots)
Disadvantages: No distinctive/signature scent, slightly pricey, would have to order online or through Avon mail order

...apparent and the shampoo washes out of your scalp very easily leaving behind a clean, residue free sensation. Following my use of the Advanced Technique V&T shampoo, I noticed that unlike other volumising shampoos I have used, I was able to easily comb and style my hair. Another good point is the fact that the shampoo leaves your hair silky smooth without weighing it down so that it becomes greasy or worse - limp. This was extremely important for me as I have very fine hair. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to use this shampoo and some styling gel and not suffer any of these side effects. I can have soft, weightless, manageable, but still full of body, hair for a complete day. Very poor quality shampoo

...Avon Advanced Techniques Clarifying Shampoo Why Did I Buy the Product? As I am an Avon representative I have a discount catalogue for Avon products which means I can buy them at a cheaper price. As Advance Techniques Clarifying Shampoo is at a low price anyway, I was able to buy the shampoo for a very small amount of money. So, the main reason I bought the product was because of a low price. The Shampoo Itself The shampoo itself when squeezed out of the bottle is creamy and white in colour. It is a thick formula, and far too creamy for me. The shampoos I find best for my hair are a lot less creamy than this one and I think the fact that is too creamy is probably the main reason why it is no good for my hair. WHAT IS THE BOWEN TECHNIQUE

Advantages: Can be used to compliment other forms of medicine
Disadvantages: Recommended you wait a week before having any other manipulative therapy.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

Advantages: Protects skin, makes it look healthier
Disadvantages: A bit pricey, takes a few minutes to absorb, smells a bit icky!

There has been a lot of hype and advertising surrounding the 'Advanced Night Repair' product recently and I just got a new job so I thought I would treat myself and decided to buy this to see what it was like. Squeaky Clean

Advantages: Cleans my hair really well.
Disadvantages: No SPF

My favourite is by far in this range, the Clarifying Shampoo even today. It does not have a conditioner or SPF but I find it works really well for me.
