Being a Customer Adviser..

...For almost two years I was a Customer Service Adviser at top UK fashion store, Dorothy Perkins. I was in sixth form at the time, so only did a few days a week, but feel that my length of stay in that employment taught me exactly what working as a customer adviser is about. The most important thing you need to do is in the title of the job: Customer Service! It's important to keep the customer happy, and if that is out of your control, to calm them down and give them what they want. The amount of times I had a customer who demanded a refund because the dress they purchased didn't fit, who were rude, obnoxious, and indignant despite the fact that it is their fault for trying it on in the first place, and I've had to smile whilst they've sworn at me and apologised profusedly whilst giving them their money back! ...I signed up with Bepaid.com a few months ago now, and what a complete waste of time that was! Basically you sign up with them, download your Advision Controller (like a remote control) and they send you advertisements to watch based on your interests. I have received 6 ads from them, other people who signed up the same time as me have received the same - it's pathetic. I have yet to make over 2 quid! A joke...the company is laughable. A few days ago I sent them an e-mail expressing my opinion on how rubbish they are - their response was an auto-reply message stating 'today's financial market has been very unstable. This current market has forced bepaid.com to slow down its operation. Therefore, at this time users will not be receiving many advertisements from us.'
