AEG-Electrolux D98000VFM - Electric Cooker

Advantages: Double Oven, easy clean, very easy to use, good functionality
Disadvantages: Touch controls are quite sensitive, fault codes are not obvious

...Disaster - 2 weeks before Chrismas my cooker blew up and with all the family coming to visit I had to buy and get one installed really quick. I popped into John Lewis (never knowingly undersold) and instantly fell for this cooker. My main selection criteria was, it had to be electric, 2 ovens, good branding, 5 year warranty, look good and be delivered for Christmas. It ticked all the boxes and I went ahead with the purchase. The goods arrived - very well packaged, complete with installation manual and user guide. A qualified electrician (my neighbour) was able to install this in about 45 mins, a simple case of moving out the old cooker and disconnecting, then reconnecting to the new one - this involved removing the back panel and reconnecting a few wires. The cooker then pushed straight back into place., and looked great...

AEG Electrolux Fridge

Advantages: Looks good, full of room, big doors, big shelves, easy to clean

...I moved into my new house about a year and a half ago and as it came unfurnished needed to buy a fridge pretty quickly. Being half American I had always loved the big American Fridges that hold enough food for a family for about a year with a water filter on the front and an ice machine so I had this in mind when I went to Currys. ...ORIGINALLY WRITTEN September 2000 I purchased an Electrolux 50 cm s/steel gas cooker from Currys a few months ago. Although cheap in price I have been quite impressed. It has 4 gas burners, combined oven & gas, electrical hob ignition + storage drawer. The dimensions are height 90 cm, width 50 cm, depth 60 cm. I paid £179.95 for it. There was an additional charge of £60 to disconnect + remove my old cooker. I took out 5 years insurance with Mastercare costing £65. Cheaper insurance is available. Note that if the cooker breaks down in the first year you get a free refund. Also only a small percentage of appliances break down in the first 5 years of use. You need a gas lighter to light the oven. The gas lighters are quite cheap at around £3 an unit. All you need to clean the cooker top is washing up liquid and some warm water...

techno super sexy kitchen extractor hood

...I have owned this hood for 2 years.What a trojan, it looks as good today as the day it was fitted, its just so sexy, I called it the wedge. I had seen it in an aeg brochure, and thought yes that's the one. The next problem was finding one to look at they where brand new. This was in itself the hardest job finding a shop to actually go and look at it , feel the controls, look at the quality, even aeg uk didn't know which shops had it on display. I tried everywhere, then found its slightly larger twin on display in the local Wickes " just not where I expected it to be considering it is top end price for an extractor. Morphy Richards Rice cooker - Too clever for me!

I settled on the Morphy Richards 48744 as to be honest that was the only one offered on the fact finders website and I thought I would use up some of my points. . The Rice and Pasta cooker is a mirrored silver colour with black handles with a toughened glass lid with a black handle and a steam hole.
