AEG Electrolux Fridge
Advantages: Looks good, full of room, big doors, big shelves, easy to clean

...I moved into my new house about a year and a half ago and as it came unfurnished needed to buy a fridge pretty quickly. Being half American I had always loved the big American Fridges that hold enough food for a family for about a year with a water filter on the front and an ice machine so I had this in mind when I went to Currys.
However as I found out these fridges are also quite wide and the space I had to put my fridge in was quite small which is when I came across the AEG Electrolux fridge/freezer. IT was £650 at Currys which I didn't think was too bad.
The first thing that attracted me to this fridge was the look and design. It's a free standing, chrome fridge so it's not plastic looking like some fridges. The outside is very easy to clean as it is just wipe clean. It has two section, the fridge portion and the freezer...

Electrolux Fridge and Freezer
Advantages: Appearance and features
Disadvantages: Terrible customer service, product quality and accessory support
...I bought this fridge and its companion refrigerator in September 2007 from Comet. Nice looking pieces of equipment and the additional benefit of the sparkling water dispenser. Unfortunately, experiences with both products have been very disappointing.. I would have expected much better from Electrolux. Going through Comet just adds one extra layer of complexity (and difficulty for the customer).
- the fridge was replaced once and the freezer was replaced twice, all due to defective electronics that could not be repaired by technicians who claimed the product to be new and that they had not received full product training yet.. much time was spent chasing up repairs (and spare parts) on the phone
- the instructions manuals for the 3 freezers that we received were not written by a native english speaker (many mistakes) and the pages...

AEG Dishwasher eases family life

AEG 37320 a brilliant machine!
Advantages: Huge Capacity, Sensor Drying, Reverse Action
Disadvantages: Dont know how long the drying cycle has left!
...I used the AEG 37320 full sized vented tumble dryer during a recent holiday to visit my aunty in Southampton. On the whole it is very well built (German), dries well, works quickly and quietly, I have to say it is the best tumble dryer I have ever used!
Overall Appearance
the overall look of the tumble dryer is plain and simple, it has one dial and a few buttons and is easy on the eye.

Put the freshness back in the kitchen
Advantages: does a great job removing smells and grease
Disadvantages: needs an outside vent either through the wall or ceiling
...When we changed our kitchen one of my priorities was to have a decent extractor. I generally dislike strong cooking smells working their way through my house but some smells are worse than others; a decent deep fat fryer took care of the fried foods and a gas barbecue on the deck near the back door took care of grilled meats so that left us with general cooking smells from cabbage to curries.

techno super sexy kitchen extractor hood
Advantages: Beautifully designed, easy to install, very effective

...I have owned this hood for 2 years.What a trojan, it looks as good today as the day it was fitted, its just so sexy, I called it the wedge.
I had seen it in an aeg brochure, and thought yes that's the one. The next problem was finding one to look at they where brand new. This was in itself the hardest job finding a shop to actually go and look at it , feel the controls, look at the quality, even aeg uk didn't know which shops had it on display. I tried everywhere, then found its slightly larger twin on display in the local Wickes " just not where I expected it to be considering it is top end price for an extractor.
It did not disappoint, in fact all the difference with the bigger one is it is extended by two plain side panels, so it is actually no more effective. My husband is tall and hates hoods that jut out that he bangs his...

I am very impressed with the AEG D21004 and would recommend to anyone considering purchasing a new double oven, however I would say that it does consume a fair amount of electricity so if you are worried about this you may be better looking for a model that has a better energy rating.
