AEG Electrolux Fridge

...I moved into my new house about a year and a half ago and as it came unfurnished needed to buy a fridge pretty quickly. Being half American I had always loved the big American Fridges that hold enough food for a family for about a year with a water filter on the front and an ice machine so I had this in mind when I went to Currys. However as I found out these fridges are also quite wide and the space I had to put my fridge in was quite small which is when I came across the AEG Electrolux fridge/freezer. IT was £650 at Currys which I didn't think was too bad. The first thing that attracted me to this fridge was the look and design. AEG L16830 Washer Drier..but not necessarily dry

Advantages: good value, plenty of features, great space saver
Disadvantages: the drier is not a patch on a stand alone machine

...The first thing to say is that if you don't need to combine the washer and drier for very practical reasons - ie space, then don't. Don't get me wrong, the AEG is a very well put together machine that does what it's supposed to do - wash and then dry your laundry. The problem is that it doesn't perform these combined tasks as well as single function machines. A house move left us with little option but to get rid of our Bosch washer and Hotpoint drier and we opted for the AEG L16830 on the back of consumer recommendations. It looks good, it's easy to install, it's incredibly quiet on wash cycle, the controls are relatively user friendly and it washes pretty well. But........the drying cycle is very disappointing. You have to significantly reduce the load to get an adequate drying cycle and even this takes forever. Because...

High pressure washer

...If your Like me and don’t like paying £6 to get you car gleaming and clean, then this product is a good idea. The Karcher K090 Pressure Washer helps me easily get my car in the sparkling condition I like it easily and cheaply. Fare enough you have to put the extra time in cleaning but if you do it your self then you know what standard it will be done to and take pride in the finished article. I have an issue with the mechanical brush drive through washers I don’t believe they can do your paint work any good at all, have you seen the bristles on the spinner brushes, they are nylon and spin at a far rate, I am sure this can ware down your paint after a while. A washing machine I'm allowed to ram stuff in!

...The title is of course a suggestion from my 18 month old :o) I recently went for some three weeks without a washing machine and had to make countless trips to the local laundrette with my lad in tow. Much to the laundrette lady's disgust I could hardly strap my son in his pushchair for hours at a time so he took great pleasure in examining the washing machines up close and deciding what it is they do; he even got to wash his cookie monster. He has since taken a great interest in the washing machine at home and was seizing every available opportunity to "wash" his things (be they his cookie monster, dirty socks or half full cup of milk). So when I had to go to Toys R Us recently to purchase a second stair gate (he's figured out how to open his bedroom door - at 5am), I decided to look for a little washing machine all of his own...
