AEG Electrolux Fridge
Review of AEG-Electrolux S 75358 KG3 by
Spottydog11
Advantages: Looks good, full of room, big doors, big shelves, easy to clean
Disadvantages: None
...I moved into my new house about a year and a half ago and as it came unfurnished needed to buy a fridge pretty quickly. Being half American I had always loved the big American Fridges that hold enough food for a family for about a year with a water filter on the front and an ice machine so I had this in mind when I went to Currys.
However as I found out these fridges are also quite wide and the space I had to put my fridge in was quite small which is when I came across the AEG Electrolux fridge/freezer. IT was £650 at Currys which I didn't think was too bad.
The first thing that attracted me to this fridge was the look and design. It's a free standing, chrome fridge so it's not plastic looking like some fridges. The outside is very easy to clean as it is just wipe clean. It has two section, the fridge portion and the freezer...

AEG Dishwasher eases family life
Review of AEG-Electrolux Favorit 80860 I by
Segedunum
Advantages: Quiet, 6 programmes, AAA energy rating
Disadvantages: Takes time to learn to load efficiently for best results
...AND STARTUP ****
All you have to do is level the machine with its 4 adjustable feet, connect to a cold water supply (washing machine outlet), put the drain hose onto a suitable drain connector, plug into the mains and switch on.
Following the handbook some basic options need to be selected such as water hardness and whether using tablet detergent,
**** IN USE ****
The salt compartment is really easy to fill using the provided funnel. The rinse aid is a little trickier, overflowing if filled too quickly. The powder or tablet goes into an open compartment with click down lid.
You really DO need to take note of what is not suitable for dishwashers. For example aluminium stains badly in the rinse where there is a combination of heat and rinse aid. Although AEG say you can wash silver if kept separate, we found that it tarnishes...

AEG Lavamat Update machine
Review of AEG Oko-Lavamat 86720 by
mbmb11
Advantages: excellent washing performance, energy efficient
Disadvantages: none
...Oh the delight!! I recently bought an AEG Lavamat Update after 12 long trusted years with a Zanussi.
How glad i am! The AEG is a superior machine, with functions abounding, yet it is so easy to use, my boyfriend can finally wash clothes with ease!!
With this machine you can just wash, rinse or spin separately at varying temperatures and spin speeds, you can delay washes, rinses and spins too as well as the usual start to finish programmes.
There is no need to tell the machine how heavy or light the wash load is, as it weighs the clothes in the drum and alters the water usage accordingly. The machine also displays the amount of wash time left to go on the front of the machine.
Lavamat Update machines are categorised as being extremely energy efficient. They have full child safety features, water drainage in case of a breakdown...

No More Washing Up!!
Review of AEG-Electrolux 64070 VIL Favorit by
neenn
Advantages: Very quiet, fully integrated
Disadvantages: Still have to scrub frying pans before putting them in.
...it in to the appropriate area.
Rinse aid is supposed to ensure thorough rinsing and spot and streak free drying. According to the finish and drying results obtained you are able to adjust the dose of rinse aid by using the 6 position selector. I have found that between 3 and 4 is a good setting to have.
-Guarantee & Contacting AEG-
Like most products, this comes with a 12 month guarantee from the date of purchase.
In the event of it needing a service or for spare parts etc then AEG can be contacted on 08705 929 929.
For general enquiries visit www.aeg.co.uk
- My verdict -
The major plus point is quite obviously that I don't have to wash up after each meal, the 'dirties' can be stacked in the machine until the end of the day.
I always like the look of glassware once it has been in a dishwasher, always so much cleaner looking than when I used...

AEG means Always Excellent Goods
Review of AEG Oko-Lavamat 518 by
TheChocolateLady
Advantages: Reliable, Easy to use, Excellent results
Disadvantages: Slightly noisy during the spin cycle
...may have the chance to purchase this model second hand (but, um, not from me. I'm not letting this baby go so quickly. Nope.)
We purchased this washing machine about eight years ago when our old machine - a top loading one by a French company called Crystal - became too small for our family. Our Crystal had a maximum capacity of only 4kg and with a growing family of five, we really needed that extra kilo capacity. Since we knew that eventually we'd also want a dryer, we decided to look for a front loading machine (in case we wanted to stack them to save space).
Our local electric shops had several models available, but the AEG Ok -Lavamat 518 was, apparently, becoming obsolete, and was therefore on sale. We were already pleased owners of an AEG dishwasher, and so we knew we weren't adverse to buying something else by the same...

AEG L16830 Great Machine
Review of AEG L16830 by
martinsmoneytips
Advantages: Quiet, well built, lots of USEFUL features
Disadvantages: none
...What a great machine. We subscribed to Which? over the internet and it cost £2.99 for the first month. It recommend a Miele at £1000 and this AEG L16830 as second choice for £483. For a £500 saving we went for the AEG as it had a larger load capability and there did not seem to be much difference in the Which? score. Like all of the machines reviewed they said the rinse was poor (The Miele was satisfactory) but there is a facility where you can set the machine to give an extra rinse permanently - so that is what we did.
It is sooooooooooo quiet coampared to our 13 year old Zanussi. You barely know it is on and when it spins (upto 1600 rpm which is really fast) the noise is still good. The countdown clock lets you know how long to go - useful if you want to go out and hang it all out before.
You can also set it to start working in 10...

Fantastic machine
Review of AEG-Electrolux L16810 by
pepsi32
Advantages: large capacity, low volume
Disadvantages: length of washing cycles
...I recently had to buy a washer dryer to replace the Candy appliance that came with my flat when I purchased it. As all the appliances in my flat came as part of the package when I bought my (new build) flat, I have never before had to make such a grown up purchase - so I headed to the Which website to search for their best buys. This AEG washer dryer was The Best Buy, so I went ahead and ordered it on-line (got it for £350 via the Which website). I am really really pleased with this decision; the AEG is in a completely different league to the Candy.
The machine was delivered in the evening so I didn't have to take a day off work. I was asked to un-plumb (??) and unplug my previous machine, so I had to get my cousin round to do this for me as I was not strong enought to move the valves. I was instructed to do this on the website...

the overall look of the tumble dryer is plain and simple, it has one dial and a few buttons and is easy on the eye.

Advantages: quick, quiet, efficient
Disadvantages: quite pricy
...Right well, I have just recently moved house and this little number was sitting in the kitchen ready and waiting. I didn't think twice about it because in all fairness - its a washing machine, you know? But when the time came to use it, I was quite impressed.
This electrolux machine has a very easy to use control panel (and I'm useless at trying to make things work!), it seems a lot quieter when spinning than other machines I've heard and it has a high energy efficiency rating.

WOW I Love This Machine!!
Review of AEG-Electrolux Favorit F3A by
myth
Advantages: AAA rates, quiet and "talks alot"
Disadvantages: None that i can think of!
...How exciting can a dishwasher be? If you have and aeg fav3a then the answer is very!!
I simply had to get a new dishwasher after my new indisit one went hay wire after only 5 months knowing my consumer rights I decided to opt for a refund and get a different model.
I knew I didn’t want another indisit so off I went to curry’s for a look and a feel for a new dishwasher. After walking round and round the display a couple of times I finally found one I liked, paid for it and it was delivered a couple of days later, my husband installed it and off we went, no more rough pan hands!!
This dishwasher is fabulous for the following reasons:
It is AAA energy rated, which means that it is very energy efficient for washing, drying and only uses 16 litres of water per cycle
It can hold up to 12 place settings and is really quiet...
