...A couple of summer's ago, my husband gutted our old kitchen and put me in a nice new one with all the mod cons, including my new halogen hob! He told me I needed to be careful when cleaning it and the maufacturer's instruction for cleaning recommended Hob Brite, by Homecare. I tootled off to Tesco and found it very easily, in with the rest of the household cleaning products. It cost at the time about £1.25 but it's since gone up in price a little and the last bottle I bought cost me £1.39 from Sainsbury's - the bottle contains 300ml, and to my knowledge does not come in any different sizes. The first time I used my new hob I'd cooked us all a spaghetti bolognese and there were a few splashes of sauce sprinkled over the hob. I left the hob to cool down before I attempted to clean it, as directed on the bottle's instructions...

Sparkly Hobs

Advantages: good results, good price

...Recently I just bought a ceramic hob cooker because previously I never really worried too much about spillages around the cooker but now with the shiny black surface dirt starts to show up more easily. I love my cooker and being a huge pasta lover and loving my sauces etc this means that there are going to be spillages whether it's tomato sauce stains, oil after frying these all make a mess if not cleaned quick so this is why I looked into products for cleaning the hob and I found Hob Brite. I have never really heard of many big brands doing cleaning products for the hob. I know there are these cleaning wipe things but to me these aren't reliable although I haven't heard of Homecare who make Hob Brite. I haven't heard of them but I certainly wouldn't forget to recommend if I ever come to the subject of discussing hobs...

Being ceramic, there are certain limitations on the type of cookware you can use with it, but this is not limiting you to very expensive sets. You cannot use enamelled or painted cookware, or aluminium, as they mark and can cause pitting to the surface. It is recommended to use stainless steel pans with thick steel sandwiched type bottoms. Seeing as this became a quite popular style with the steel and glass lids several years ago, I already had a suitable set. These days you can buy a quality set of pans like this for under £20, including a steamer, milk pan, and frying pan if you shop around. AEG Electrolux Fridge

Then I thought, perhaps I should update my own washer review. After going over what I wrote below, I can safely say that this machine is still going very strong, and cleaning our clothes very well.
