...Hawaiian tropic complete care after sun after bath I tend to buy a lot of the Hawaiian tropic products when we go abroad because i like the smell and they remind me of holidays spent in the sunshine. I had never tried this one before but decided it was worth a go because I have never had any problems with the products before. WHAT DOES IT DO? Since this doesn't just market itself as an after sun, but rather as complete body care, i am expecting something great from it, although even before I use it, I do expect it to be merely an after sun/moisturiser...not cynical, merely a realist. This is an after sun/after bath product so I believe that makes it the kind of product which can be used all year round as a body moisturiser, unless it is for after the bath when you have previously spent the day on the sun. A Non Peeling After Sun

...So, last weekend was probably one of the hottest of the year so far according to me. I didn't actually realise how hot it was at the time of course so avoiding putting on suntan lotion. However, I later regretted this when I got home, after hours of sunbathing. I noticed my arm was bright red as were my cheeks and nose. As I am really bad at packing it was my fault for leaving my other sun lotions at home and I had to shell out for expensive sun cream and after sun at the airport, but at the same time it is nice having the Clinique fancy stuff! Put the Sun In your hair, well it aint in the sky!

Disadvantages: could cause it to look dry and dull or turn green

...hair after towel drying it. Since I rarely blow dry or style my hair I chose to dry it after using the Sun In, to see if it made a noticeable difference. At first it didnt but after I used it a few times I think my hair is starting to look somewhat lighter, the difference between the top layers of hair and the bottom layers is slight but increasing. When I go on holiday at the end of next week I'll be taking the Sun In with me since it can only enhance the usual effect that the sun has on my hair. Great for short thin hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....
