The main benefit of this product for me is that it’s formulated for sensitive skin and contains no alcohol; alcohol in any after-shave really irritates and burns my skin. This balm feels smooth and rich in texture and is quickly absorbed into the skin leaving it feeling fresh & healthy; the added Camomile which is well known for its calming properties really helps cool my skin after shaving and as this balm is “Fragrance Neutral” it doesn’t leaving it smelling offensive to me. It is also enriched with vitamin E which should help improve the condition of my skin. ...Im probably like most men and really do not like shaving at the best of times and really have an issue with finding an aftershave balm which either doesn’t sting or irritate me to the point it burns my face. I came across Nivea Balm as a Christmas present from my sister and though t I would do a review on it. The Packaging It comes in a cardboard box resembling the size of a small notepad, the bottle inside comes in a thick white glass container which has a dark blue box on the front with the Nivea motif in white inside it. The bottle itself is quite heavy but this makes it durable and can take a drop on the floor as I have done a couple of times when I have wet hands. ...Do you feel like shouting at the top of your voice when you apply aftershave after shaving? I do, and sometimes I look just like that kid from Home Alone. I have found an excellent alternative to aftershave that not only does it not sting, it actually leaves your skin feeling smooth and refreshed. Nivea has been a notourious brand name in costmetic products for women. Now they are producing a range of products for us men too. Their after shave balm is the best thing I have ever used after shaving. ...Right I am not odd doing this op and yes I am female. But I must say, I approve of this after shave balm. We have to like it too guys!!! My chap has tried lots of aftershaves and they cause rashes and tightness on his skin. I guess alot of people have said Nivea balm is expensive at around £4.oo but as my chap has replaced his aftershave with this it is very reasonable. He also doesnt bother with any moisturiser when using this. It smells really nice, softens his skin and seems to stop his razor burn. Also, as he has sensitive skin and has had no rashes. Right, it comes in a white and blue pot bottle and cardboard carton and this looks quite nice packaging, not tacky at all. Its 100ml and is just one of the nivea for men range. ...If you have read my last review (and if not, why not?) you will see that I have finally started to shave. The trouble with having such baby soft skin is that shaving can leave you feeling a little sore and you need to apply something to restore moisture to your face. Traditional alcohol based aftershaves are good for cleansing but have the distinct disadvantages of often smelling like a tart's handbag and sting like crazy. Why any sane person should want to put themselves through this kind of torture is completely beyond me. When I was shopping for the shaving gel I saw this aftershave balm in the same range. ...Hopefully, you readers will now have realised that I have no problem at all admitting to my daily skincare regime, and publicly reviewing the results of my product usage. I feel that it's important for us men to look after ourselves and, as I say to my other half, I don't get to look this good without effort!!!
