My Rage at Age of Empires
Review of Age of Empires (PC) by
danieletheridge
Advantages: Good game
Disadvantages: Poor A-S Service
...I bought Age of Empires about six months ago from my local Game store [see separate opinion]. High expectations were around in the Etheridge camp from this game as I had waited a long while to buy it. At last I arrived back at my home, and switched on…
…I put inside the Age of Empires CD Rom in to my computer drive and a little screen came up. I began the installation process – happiness at last as the Etheridges are on their way to having a new game in their portfolio! And the installation continued…
Installation...
Installation of Age of Empires is very simple – all you do is put the CD Rom in to the drive and it really does spoon-feed you, telling you exactly what needs to be done. If you have AutoRun active, then it should begin as soon as you put the CD in the drive.
Your computer will just...

Age of Empires or Age of a New Gaming Era?
Review of Age of Empires III (PC) by

Advantages: Amazing graphics, and great new game play.

Also known as AoE the Age of Empires series consists of 2 games and various expansions. The most modern AoE yet it is set in the colonial age. Age of Empires 3
Review of Age of Empires 3 (PC) by
Joe_D_L
Advantages: Great Graphic and options of gameplay
Disadvantages: None
...Age of Empires 3 is, ironically enough, the third instalment of the highly successful 'Age of Empires' title. Although fans of age of empires 2 had to wait 6 years for the new release, I believe it was worth it. Age of Empires III is a real time strategy game where you play as 1 of 8 major European Civilization as they fight for land and riches on the New World.
The games controls haven't really changed that much from the second one, but even if you are a novice they are easy to pick up with the 'learn to play' mode and a lot of the buildings keep their original functions, however a brand new selection of units have been created due to the usage of gunpowder. Plus in Age of Empires 3 you have the chance to use your home city to help aid your colony, and the more the play the greater the selection and quality of shipments will be...

Age of Empires Series - Ageless?
Review of Age of Empires 3 (PC) by
TheCrow21
Advantages: New fun features, entertaining, good multiplayer
Disadvantages: Poor single player, may not appeal to everyone
.... This causes a problem as it may or may not appeal to you as an individual but all i can say is it takes very little away from the gameplay as a whole.
The graphics seen on age of empires 3 are satisfactory but very dependant on the computer they're seen on. Either way you very rarely tend to notice the detail of the graphics in a strategy game.
If you have your heart set on a good strategy game single player i would sway far away from age of empires 3. The single player is far from enthralling and tends to become repetitive after the first few chapters of the dull, unoriginal storyline. The multiplayer, however, is entertaining, addictive and strangely relaxing in some ways, also the multiplayer service is free, easy to access since it is built into the game and very reliable.
If you wish to purchase this game it is now quite cheap due...

Age Of empires 3 Definately the best to date!
Review of Age of Empires 3 (PC) by
richtoyota
Advantages: great gameplay, awesome graphics, excellent multiplayer
Disadvantages: needs a good PC for graphics
...Age Of empires... a Franchise which has always delivered for its loyal fans, and one which continues to impress, I was certainly not disapointed when i bought this game!
First of all, the entire game is based in the age where colonialism of the world was at the forefront of politics, great nations, notably the European ones, and the Ottoman empire sought to discover the new world and gain control over the vast resources it had to offer... of course by the new world, we mean the present day USA.
The game offers all of the main civilisations at the time, 13 in total and each of them is incredibly different, ranging from the British to the Russians, and the Ottomans to the Dutch, they all have very unique units and playing them individually differs each time, often involving very different tactics, and utilising the unique units...

Age of Empire 2- Review and Cheats
Review of Age of Empires II (PC) by
Mr_Pop-n-fresh
Advantages: Endless Possibilities, good graphics and easy game play
Disadvantages: Sound affects not brilliant
...Age of Empires 2-Age of Kings is Microsoft’s sequel to the first Age of Empires game. As before, the game is a ‘point and click’ strategy genre where you progress through several ages e.g. Feudal, Castle, and Imperial Age etc.
The main object of the game is either to complete the tasks set in the campaign or to build up your own empire. In the random map game, you start off with the basics-a town centre and a couple of houses. With the few villages that you have, you start to add more to your town by building some farms, then a mill and then a barracks. From the barracks an army can begin to be built. The further that you move into the game the more opportunities you have to do more. Minerals are collected and once a certain amount is reached then advancement can be made into the next age or research can be carried...

By far the best in the Age of Empires series
Review of Age of Empires 3 (PC) by
Icewave
Advantages: Graphics, Real world physics (Destroyable terrain and shown damage), Gameplay, Online multiplayer
Disadvantages: Repetitive campaign, Large system requirements
...Firstly I would like to say that I've played all the games in Age of Empires series and this is by far the best. This game is well worth your money if you enjoy Real Time Strategy games, set during 1500-1800 the game covers of the discovery of America and the fight for the country.
Graphics 5/5
Amazing and stunning graphics for an RTS game. They're so awesome it's unbelievable. The Terrain now actually look like real life terrain. Units and buildings graphics are spectacular, and the graphical effects are very realistic; they're the main reason I gave the graphics a ten. Trust me, it deserves it. To give you some examples about the great graphics: The buildings fall apart now! They no longer just go boom. It goes down part by part until it's completely destroyed. And the water... It looks so awesome that your computer will have...
