Sandisk 512Mb memory card
Review of Sandisk Securedigital SD 512 512 MB by
01zesty01
Advantages: Small, reliable
Disadvantages: The lock feature is delicate
...So the SanDisk SD flash memory card 512MB.
Well as a start like most memory cards these days , its nice and small ( perfect for getting lost if your not careful). Despite its size its nice and long lasting ( well mines still alive anyway..or it was the last time i used it) you get a ncie handy case, you know incase you like accidently sit on it or something.
So 512MB , its a pretty good amount of memory for camera use , but if you really do like to get out there and basicly film your entire life, you\'d probably be better off with more memory, i recomend the 1gb or 2gb sandisk memory card.
So what a lovely shade of blue, hmm, yes its a bit boring compared to other memory cards, but what do you expect, half the time you cant see it anyway because its inside a device.
I found that the card can be read and written really fast...

Crucial Radeon X1600 Pro AGP
Review of Crucial Radeon X1600 Pro AGP by
ilaskey
Advantages: Great image quality, price, shader 3.0, DirectX 9.0c, H264 support
Disadvantages: Not very fast, there are cheaper X1600's out there
...such unit is the Crucial Radeon X1600 Pro AGP 512Mb. Based on ATI's technology, this card has an interesting mix of features making it a compelling choice for anyone looking to upgrade an elderly graphics card.
The PC I wanted to upgrade had what is now a rather dated card in the form of a Radeon 7500. Apart from being slow, it doesn't support many of the features any self-respecting modern graphics card should have. I chose the Crucial X1600 Pro to give the PC a mid-life kicker to help it make the most of newer games and technologies.
Features
The X1600 is certainly well featured. The obvious selling point is its support of the latest standards in the form of DirectX 9.0c and Shader Model 3.0. It also offers HDR (High Dynamic Range) combined with full screen anti-aliasing. Connection wise it sports a dual-link DVI-I connector as well...

AGP may not be dead afterall
Review of Gainward BLISS 7800GS+ AGP DVI-DVI Golden Sample by
Lamentus
Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Nonething
...I, like many others still have an AGP system, and just don't have the funds to spend on a new motherboard, processor and memory to upgrade to a PCI express system. So thankfully NVIDIA and Gainward to the rescue.
I will start with a few basics listed below;
Product Name: BA7800GS-512-GS plus-TV-DVI
GPU: GeForce 7800GS
GPU Clockspeed: 450 MHz
Memory: 512MB 1,4ns DDR3
Memory Clockspeed: 1250 MHz
Pixels per clock (peak) :
Bandwidth: GB/s
Ramdac: MHz
Bus: AGP-8X
Cooling: Fan (Two-slot)
Video-Features: Component, S-Video & Composite Out
Connectivity: Dvi + Vga + Video-Out
Firstly this is the new god of AGP cards, this is as powerful as they get with AGP. The card is huge, apart from using your AGP slot, it will cover your first PCI slot, this is because of the huge, but silent, fan on this card. You...

512mb memory unit - too small?
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Memory Unit - 512MB by
shamis4
Advantages: SMall and easy to take around with you and for storing game saves
Disadvantages: Expensive and a hard drive would be far more beneficial
...labeled on the front of the console. You just push open the flap and push the memory unit inside the console until it stops and it will of course stick out from the console.
It is also very small and sleek and is probably similar size to a credit card - though of course a bit thicker. I think it looks really cool and is great and compact.
Benefits:
This memory unit being of only 512mb can be used in the whole for storing game saves which of course can be very important and need to be saved and kept somewhere safe - and this is the perfect option. You can also store your xbox live account on here as well as putting some pictures and maybe some music on here. This will all of course be limited to 512mb. You can also download and save stuff from the xbox live marketplace, but again you will be limited to how much you can download...

512 Megabytes of RAM - as smooth as it gets.
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 512 MB PC1600 by
Pisces1977
Advantages: Good price, neat design, reliable, excellent capacity and great performance
Disadvantages: None
.... Kingston serves an international network of distributors and OEM customers in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Latin America, representing more than 3,000 locations worldwide.
-------------------- About the Memory --------------------
As I've already written a similar review regarding the 256 MB, PC3200 DDR - a lower capacity module than this 512 MB PC3200 DDR type. I guess I will have to input some similar information already on my other review - just in case readers don't read my previous 256 MB PC3200 DDR's review.
As some of you may be aware that handling electronic devices without due care can cause damage to the device by electrostatic shock, I suggest new-users (or continuous users) to touch full stainless-steel kitchen taps (or any unpainted, grounded metal object) to drain electrostatic that's already charged around...

512MB: Saved Moments
Review of Kingston Secure Digital 2048 MB by
ms19
Advantages: good space, not too pricey
Disadvantages: -
...brands like Kodak and so on but the Kingston ones seemed to be coming up a lot in my searches and I had heard of them before for USB drives and they seem to have a good name behind them. Their memory cards come in all sizes from 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and the one I have 512MB which is probably one of the smallest but it is fine for me for now.
Most Kodak cameras will accept an SD card but there are other types as you will see when you go to print off your photos. On the side of my camera is a door and there is a slot for the camera where you just click in your SD card and then the memory mounts up instantly. I also know that my laptop is SD compatible and so I just slide the card into the slot at the side and then my photos load up without the hassle of a USB cable. I know most Dell laptops come with this slot and I have a Sony Vaio so I'm guessing...

**512MB memory all on a stick**
Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 512 MB by
1st2thebar
Advantages: A lot of memory 512MB worth
Disadvantages: It can get lost in a brief case
...**DELL USB MEMORY STICK**
-- USB Flash Drive 512 MB --
- Dell -
Dell is now the 25th most wealthiest corporation in the US. Why Dell has done so well is due to the smaller component sales -- such as the USB Flash Drive memory keys, among many other computer components. That is a digital USB device.
Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. At that time IBM was the main specialists in computer products and components worldwide. Michael learn't his trade by using IBM mainframe computers on processing speeds of only 2MHz. A 'MHz' is a tiny fraction of the kind of processor speeds that are in the market today. Dell's visionary could see beyond the systems he worked with and wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and so got to work on building a prototype. In 1985 he managed...

A step up from 256MB but not quite 1GB
Review of Olympus M-XD 512 XD CARD XD 512 512 MB by
alimason
Advantages: store over 400 photos, good video time
Disadvantages: not a huge capacity, easy to lose
...I bought this card some time ago now and it was meant to be an addition to my 256mb card, for when i get a bit photo happy, but it soon became my primary card.
A few stats about the card: If you have a camera that is 5,6,7,8, or 10 mega pixels the card will hold 405, 335, 285, 250 and 200 photos respectively. In addition the card will also hold video (with or without sound) and the capacity is anything from 9 minutes and 21 seconds to 1 hour 21 minutes and 53 seconds, it entirely depnds on the type of camera and the settings on the camera. In terms of size the card is tiny, smaller than a penny and weighs practically nothing.
I have a 5 mega pixel camera so i found the capacity adequate and one can easily click away without having to worry about deleting photos. The video capacity is also useful as it means you can take a good...

Sony MSX-M512S 512mb
Review of Sony MSX-M512S Pro Duo Memory Stick by
dharma.roy
Advantages: Fast, Small
Disadvantages: Possibly not enough space
...This is a great memory stick it is compatible with many electrionics made my mainly sony.
I got this free when i purchased a w800i and i found it very handy as the phone did not have a very large memory only 32mb, this is like space for only 5 songs or 30 picture files depending on the quality. This on the other hand this memory card has 512mb which is like 16x more space as the phone memory. Now that is a lot.
Now the fransfer speed details for this priduct is listed below:
Transfer: 159 Mbit/s (20 MB/s)
Minimum write speed: 15 Mbit/s
Maximum write speed: 80 Mbit/s (High Speed PRO Duo)
This means that if you have a device that is capable of transfering up to the full speed of this memory stick then you will be able to fill it up within 30 secs as the transfer rate is 20mb/s.
This memory card is highly used and fully...
