A cheap and efficient graphics card.
Advantages: Easy installation process, Extensive connectivity options, noiseless.
Disadvantages: Some features work better with Vista operating system.
...BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Sapphire Technology is the main supplier of ATI based Graphics Cards for personal computers all over the world. It also produces different types of TV cards, work stations and digital photo frames for consumers. It is a Hong-Kong based company and has two ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified manufacturing plants in China. ATI launched the Radeon HD 4600 series on September 2008. This series loaded with some great additional features and fully supports HD gaming for PC users. I bought my HD 4650 graphics card (1 GB) from Dell online, and it cost me around £60. This graphics card designed on 55nm process and came with lots of useful software.
EXCLUSIVE FEATURES :
# It has built in HDMI support and also 7.1 surround sound support.
# It has a massive memory clock speed of 800 MHz.
# There is some useful...

The ACE of graphics cards.
Advantages: 65nm size, less power consumption, HD supporting technology, very cheap, pure video technology, SLI
Disadvantages: just remake of 8600 gt version, less core clock speed, lower performance than 8600GT.
...BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Usually, in modern days computing market, the manufacturers tend to built in the Graphics Processor Unit (GPU) with the motherboard, which is helpful. But it entirely does not accomplish the maximum output for graphics requirements for a PC system. It is far less powerful and serves the nominal performance than a dedicated graphics card.
In present day market, there are two world-class renowned companies providing the best graphics card to the consumers, one of them is NVIDIA and the other one is ATI. Though in my personal opinion, the hardcore gamers prefer the NVIDIA for its boastful performance, superiority in viewer satisfying ability.
INTRODUCTION OF THE PRODUCT
Geforce 9500GT is specially designed only for desktops, it s the successor of 8600gt model. The geforce nine series is the ninth...

Another very good video card from NVIDIA
Advantages: Cheap, Easy to use, easy to install, Good quality graphics
Disadvantages: Using a large PCI card next to it could obstruct the fan.
...device can run from this at any one time.
You are given a 2-way 4-pin Molex splitter for if you do not have any spare on your power supply. I think this shows that the manufacturer was actually thinking about what the user is going to need when they are installing the card, and it makes sure the card can be used straight away as the user will not have to wait for any power splitters that they might have needed to order.
Packaging
The graphics card came packaged very well, wrapped in bubble wrap and then an anti-static bag, the adapter, the HDTV cable; the DVI-AGP adapter and the Molex splitter were is sealed plastic bags. All of the performance features and system requirements are on the back of the box along with the features and benefits written in 7 different languages.
Installation
i found the card very...

Crucial Radeon X1600 Pro AGP
Advantages: Great image quality, price, shader 3.0, DirectX 9.0c, H264 support
Disadvantages: Not very fast, there are cheaper X1600's out there
...What do you do when you have a PC that's a couple of years old, still quite serviceable but starting to groan a bit when playing the latest games. Upgrade the graphics card I hear you say? Sure, except your PC has an AGP slot and the shops are full of PCI Express cards.
Given that there are a lot of PCs with quite fast CPUs, often 3Ghz or more, laden with RAM and bristling with hard disk space, it is surprising just how quickly graphics card manufactures have largely abandoned AGP in favour of its newer replacement PCI Express. It seems very short-sighted and is forcing many people into buying PCI Express equiped motherboards and often new CPUs just to allow them to upgrade their graphics cards (Hmm, maybe I can see why...)
If you are prepared to dig around a bit, there are still a few decent AGP cards on the market though. One...

Awesome graphics card for games
Advantages: If you are playing games there is an enormous advantage
Disadvantages: the size 9" x 4and a half is big and needs a large power supply
...also requires at least a 450w power supply as it draws a lot of power.
To Fit
Make sure that it is not going to be close to other cards as it does require room to keep cool.
Fitting though is quite easy, just take off the blanking plate at the back of the PC that lines up with the PCi express slot. Make sure and I cannot express this enough that you are earthed as it is quite easy to fry electronic cards by static.
Line up with slot and push into place. Connect the 6 pin cable (supplied) and plug into a spare molex connector.
Before you install the software uninstall any software that relates to your old graphics card.
Although its got 2 DVI connectors it does come with an AGP adaptor and a HDMI adaptor. As the HD and the name signifies it is easily capable of playing high definition DVDs if you have a blueray disc player...

Card Factory
Advantages: Great products at low prices
Disadvantages: Long queues and some products a little tacky
...Card buying can be an expensive thing, especially at this time of year and as much as I love the quality of the cards in stores such as Clintons, with my large family I just cannot afford to buy all my family cards from stores such as these at Christmas. So I was pretty impressed with Card Factory opened up a store in my local town recently. For me this store offers good quality products, but at really cost effective prices.
Obviously their main market is the card market. They offer cards for all occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, moving, sorry, thank you and general cards too. Their cards are priced at 59p for a small card, 89p for a medium card and 99p for a large card, which for me is excellent value for money. They do extra large cards which do cost a bit more and they also do a couple of cards in each range for just...

The ultimate Graphics card, Within Reason
Advantages: Very, Very fast, Stunning Graphics, Very Reasonable in Price
Disadvantages: Can be heard when playing a game with no sound, can get quite hot
...I had ordered a copy of battlefield 2 for my PC and at the time was running a geforce 4 mx440, and I knew this combination would be absolutely useless even if it did get the game to run, so I went in search for a graphics card, which would play brand new thirsty games for a few years to come and that is compatible with my AGP socket. I looked atround at the different brands available, ATI and Nvidia, and strook of ATI quite quickly as I didn't know much about their model numbers. I then looked through the Nvidia range which was quite a lot of fun. I initially was going to opt for a geforce 5500 but i discovered this was a very low end card and would only marginally beat my exisitng card. I then upped the anti so to speak and looked at the geforce 5900 range. This looked promising with some good write ups, and the one i settled for was...

Oyster Card
Advantages: Convenient
Disadvantages: You could lose it!
...We Londoners are insistent people. We want cheap travel to anywhere in one of the biggest cities in the world. We want it regularly, without delays and seven days a week?if possible. Not too much to ask then?oh and we want a convenient travel card rather than paying with cash for each individual journey. Of course.
Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the Oyster card then. For those who don?t live in London or perhaps have never even stepped foot in the capital, the following paragraphs may read like absolute gobbledegook, but trust me, I think I know what I?m talking about and I think it makes sense.
The Oyster card is basically a form of electronic ticketing used on public transport ? buses, some National Rail trains, trams, underground and the Docklands Light Railway system within Greater London. The blue card, which costs just a £3...

Nectar Card
Advantages: Lots of retailers to collect with
Disadvantages: Online points may not equal amount of cashback available elsewhere
...The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting!
Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500.
Points can also be collected in other stores, for example Dolland and Aitchinson also give 2 points per pound, as do Homebase. As far as I am aware however, you cannot redeem your points against your total bills in these stores.
Points can also be collected...
