...---Ahead Sticks---- These sticks are the best darn sticks out there as they are indestructable, they come in a range of sizes, just like other drumsticks, apart from them breaking you just change the outer sleeve of the drumstick, the inside of the drumstick is made of light aluminium core metal, similar type of metal that airplanes are made out of as it is lightweight. These sticks are recommended for hard hitting drummers, such as heavy metal drummers or heavy rock drummers, but definately not for something like jazz. They are probably the most durable sticks out there, but unfortunately they do come with quite a cost, this being at £25 for a set of them, but they are definately quality sticks. ...For starters I love the vibrant packaging that McVities's have chosen for their Go ahead orange slices. To the left of the packet we have the amber traffic light colour which in my eyes means think long and hard before you decide to put a Go Ahead into your mouth, but in the next breath the name of the biscuit clearly tells to to carry on. The central green and white nameplate is energetic, a very large GO and the word ahead is sitting directly below it in a smaller font. Then move along the packet and there is a lighter amber section which could mean `Well dont think too hard before you open the packet`. Depicted on the light amber section is a few orange slices, a handful of plump sultanas and a couple of the biscuits in question. At the far end the packet has a royal blue flash that blends well with the dual shades of amber...

...Sometimes I feel that I should give chocolate a miss but I still needed a yummy something in my lunch box to help me face the afternoon grind. Whilst in Tescos I spotted the Go ahead Yogurt Break bars. They were in boxes of 6 and I think they were on a BOGOF offer (about £1.99 a box) as I also bought the Forest Fruit variety but I cant remember as I have bought them several times since. They are widely available at most supermarkets. The box was a little dull but having just bought some more I see they have now been repackaged. The box is bright green to match all the other Go ahead products. There is nutritional information on the front along with a picture of yellow and orange tropical fruit and a phot of a partly broken bar. I have always enjoyed these and tried the range of flavours and so far strawberry is probably my favourite. ~~~ Packaging ~~~ The strawberry yoghurt breaks are displayed in a new bright green box which certainly stands out on the shelf in the supermarket and puts across the image of being healthy. ...Like many other people I'm sure, I seem to be constantly fighting a losing battle with my weight! It's probably got a lot to do with the fact that most of the things I really enjoy eating are a little on the fattening side and I don't seem to have the willpower to say 'no'! I can?t see the point in processing all the goodness out of some sad old piece of meat only to pump it up with water and inject some synthetic goodness back into it on the production line. Seems like us humans unnecessarily meddling with nature to me. So I tend to breeze past most things on the supermarket shelves that aren?t of the most basic variety nowadays (y?know, sugar, flour, salt, that sort of stuff!) so quite how these McVitie Go Ahead! Bars ever made it into my trolley I will never know? !!!! Packaging !!!! They are sold in packs of ten bars in the rather distinctive green branding of the McVitie?s Go Ahead! range. Sure Go Ahead !!

Advantages: soft crunchy reasonably priced easy to carry
Disadvantages: cant get it in every shop

.... They are not at all sticky and the yogurt and fruits smell is fresh as you open the pack. Great for children as well. So dont think twice Go Ahead. The perky advert of the girl chewing on this crunchy soft bar does make it worthwhile to buy this product....
