...liked the fact that I would never have guessed what would happen in this film it was not a predictable story line for me in the slightest so it really held my attention throughout.
The film is over 2 hours long but I don't think you will be dissapointed if you are a spielberg fan and you are into your sci-fi then you will really like it.

...Normally, I like to review a film straight after watching it, while my thoughts are still predominantly focused on what I have just seen. However, this time, I am attempting to write this a couple of weeks after watching the film. Why? Because it has taken a while to decide how I felt about it. But I decided I did want to try to review it, so although I am unsure how this review will go, I’ll give it a try.
Film reviews are relatively easy if you love or hate a film. Even if the film is dull and boring, you can usually get a decent enough review out of it. With this film, all three apply. I hated parts of it, I loved parts of it and some bits were just dull with a capital D.

...I have not written a review on this site for a very long time, but having seen A.I. last night I very much feel the need.
This film has had a huge amount of hype, and has generally had pretty favourable reviews. I cannot for one second understand why!
It is quite simply one of the most bizarre, one of the most meaningless, and definately one of the worst films I have ever seen, not helped by the fact that it seemed to drag on for an ice age.
As anyone reading this review probably already knows, the film is about a mecha (robot) boy, played by Haley Joel Osment. He was created to be the first robot capable of independant motivation, and of love. His self-motivation leads him to be typically jelious of his returning 'orga' (organic - real) brother, but this soon leads him on a pinnochio motivated adventure to find the Blue Fairy...
Advantages: a film worth seeing Disadvantages: abit slow in the beginning

I will admit I did not want to see this film, from the adverts it looked far to mechanical but to say the least a far more interesting film than I gave it credit, I saw it as a grown up Pinocchio but the inference still being a child.
You start off with a couple whose own child martin has been in a coma, thought never to wake up.
The father wrestles with his conscience about bringing home an a.i this one and only model being called David, his wife is so distressed over their son he decides to bring him home to see if his wife will accept him as a child, explaining to her that everything he learns must come from them, learning to interact with others, to love, to be a child...
Advantages: Can recommend to friends that they don't go and see this one Disadvantages: Could spoil what you hope to be a good night out at the cinema
...For my daughter's birthday we decided to take her to the cinema with a couple of friends, to watch, what we thought, would be a good movie. My daughter's friend said that she'd heard AI was good so we decided to go and watch that.
So, here goes the story. Fri 5th Oct, both of my daughters, two friends, my partner and myself set off for the pictures. We decided we'd get some tea en route. The six of us went to an absolutely fantastic restaurant in Bury called Baccos - i'd recommend it to anyone. The Italian food there is wonderful! After our meal we called to get some sweets for the pictures. We were all really looking forward to watching the film. We arrived at the cinmea at about 8.00pm. The film was due to start at 8.30pm. Bought popcorn & drinks.
The film didn't start till about 9.10pm so the kids were already...

As far as i am aware , they offer a nationwide service and came all the way up to edinburgh , he was bang on time and even the rain didnt stop him...
