...As with most other readers, (hopefully), I was shocked and saddened to hear of the incredible rise and spread of STD?s, in particular AIDS, amongst young people. What?s going on .. doesn?t anyone care anymore ..? As a gay man who lived in London during the 1980?s, I lost more than a dozen good friends, including my closest friend to AIDS. I was one of the lucky ones. These were otherwise healthy guys from all walks of life, in their prime. The oldest was just 31 and the youngest, 19. During those awful years, I attended more funerals than I care to remember, not just of my friends but other young victims too .. people I knew socially. I always thought of funerals as occasional sad events involving elderly family members or elderly neighbours. How wrong I was. LIVE AID DVD

Advantages: Too many to mention Just ENJOY

...I was one of those lucky few who was there on the day. The day that music changed the world something that has continued ever since but has never been achieved up to this standard. I have been to many many live gigs but this one comes right at the top, I can still remember the shivers down my spine as I felt the excitement from crowds and performers alike so, when the concert was released on DVD I decided to purchase it. All proceeds from this dvd goes to the Band Aid trust to continue their help in feeding the world. The 4 disc DVD is beautifully presented in a fold out cover which slips into a protective box., It contains an informative booklet giving information and glossy colour photographs from that day.. I was also interested to see that it contained some unseen footage and a documentary which was shown on the BBC a year after...

Kitchen Aid Classic - Best kitchen mixer

Advantages: Ease of use, versatility, easy to clean, looks great
Disadvantages: Expensive add-ons

...the hard work out of creaming and whipping etc I didn't think that it could get much easier but I was wrong. The Kitchen Aid Classic is robust enough to kneed heavy doughs yet delicate enough to whip the lightest meringues and creams. Incredibly easy to use main attachments with bayonet fittings and two levers, one to tilt the head back and the other to control the speed settings. Possibly the best feature is that the stainless steel bowl is ridiculously easy to clean and ready again in seconds for it's next job. There is a downside however. The attachments seem to be prohibitively expensive, certainly in the UK, but if you happen to travel to the US then you can bring them back with you at a far better price. If you like baking you'll love this....

Benefit Lemon Aid is a good soft base for your eyes

Advantages: less foundation or eyeshadow needed in future, easy to apply and lasts for ages
Disadvantages: Eyes need to moistured-if applied to dry skin then becomes clumpy

...Lemon aid is the first thing i put on my eyes. Only a small amount covers well. Its a like a concealer for your eyes. Its the same kind of texture as a concealer and you apply it the same only to your eye lids. If you have sensitive skin like myself then this is a good base instead of foundation. I used to use foundation before this product and my eyes were very sensitive the next day. It does cause some irritation but you dont need a lot of it and it means you use less foundation and other eye cover products. I put a skin base on before using it also, like a matte gel or cream. Just say you were out in the street, and you saw an individual collapse in front of you. As you have had no training (although common sense does play a big part in it aswell), you would feel helpless because you had absolutely no idea as to what you had to do. Therefore, I would urge you to get on a course and get that proper training under your belt - as you never know just when you might need it! BeneFit Lemon Aid.... where have you been all my life!!!

Advantages: It does exactly what it says on the box!
Disadvantages: None, it's perfect!!!

...I love love love this product!!! Can BeneFit do no wrong!!??! I honestly can't recommend this product highly enough! I was accosted by a lady in Debenhams trying to give me a make over with BeneFit cosmetics and I decided to humour her! When she explained that Lemon Aid takes away the discolouration on your eye lids and underneath your eyebrows I thought.... is that reeeeeeally necessary??? Is this like one of those products that isn't blusher... it's highlighter for your cheeks which you really really "need" as well as blusher..... in other words.... completely gimicky and unnecessary! But Lemon Aid isn't like that at all. it's wonderful.... I`m in love!!! I have used Lemon aid ever since that day a Debenhams and have never looked back. this product is the perfect colour.... it looks very light but I promise it blends beautifully...
