...I first started collecting Air Miles back in the dim and distant past of my university days. To be honest, I paid little attention to them back then. At my initial rate of collection it would've taken several years just to get off the airport runway. Times change and so do personal circumstances. I started working as a self-employed water treatment engineer which amongst other things meant plenty of driving in between jobs. Plenty of driving means lots of petrol - the Nat West credit card took a hammering. Anyway, it just so happens that Nat West credit cards are one of Air Miles partners and I was earning one air mile for every £10 spent on the card (as a side issue this is now one mile for every £20). Wizz Air

Advantages: Almost Excellent airline to fly with.
Disadvantages: £4 booking fee if not using a Visa Electron card.

The aircraft are generally Boeing 737 planes and the company flies to many European destinations. Advantages: clean, comfortable, good service
Disadvantages: No direct flights out to Asia

...I have flown repeatedly with Gulf Air out to various places in Asia from India to South East Asia and the far east. These have always required a stop-off in the gulf area of the Middle East, almost always Bahrain which is the airlines hub. The airline has connections from London, Paris and Frankfurt out to Bahrain and from there there are plenty of connections out to Asia and to various places around the Middle East and Islamic countries such as Sudan and Iran. Thus it isn't the best connected airline for those trying to connect from Western Europe as it will almost always require a change over unless Bahrain is the final destination. ...Never before have I seen a film that has done the book justice. The Green Mile was adapted from the book with the same title written by Stephen King. Because I had read the book first, quite some time ago, I wasn`t expecting it to be that good even though I`d read some great reviews about it. Death row is known as the long mile, but because this row had green flooring it was named the green mile.
