Advantages: Close to Domestic Airport
Disadvantages: Too far from downtown Bangkok

...I stayed here in May 08 for 1 night. I was flying out of Donmuang Domestic airport early the next day and the location was ideal as it is a short drive away. On there website they show a bridge connecting the hotel to the airport, we were told this was now closed. Beware of the taxi touts who try and charge 300 Baht to take you there! A metered cab cost us 60 baht. The room was as shown in the advertised pictures, complete with all the amenities, mini bar, bathrobe, tolitries. The beds were really comfotable. My husband and I had some time to spare so were told by the hotel there was a very good shopping mall about 15-20 mins away. It was huge and I got the chance to buy items that are not aimed at tourists and therefore cheaper than places like MBK, Siam square. I would only recommend this hotel to people who will be using... ...The Radisson hotel at Manchester Airport is probably one of the more well known as it has now been there for quite some time and unlike a lot of others around the Airport, hasn't been bought out over the years and renamed. The hotel is set right in the heart of Manchester Airport so that all three terminals are easily accessible from it and it is easy spot if you are coming off of the motorway to the Airport as it is set right at the bottom of a hill in front of the main roundabout at the airport that has all the flags of the world on it. Room: The rooms at the hotel are all a decent size - they have various room types and the lower floors consist of the standard rooms and the higher floors have the upgraded rooms. The standard rooms are nice but tend to be decorated in a more simple style whilst the upgraded rooms tend to be brighter... Read review

...VERY SHONKY OPERATERS. Octopus Travel booked our hotel transfers from our London Hotel to Heathrow Airport. They told us the incorrect time for pick up which was stated on the booking. The hotel called HotelInk for us to confirm the booking the day prior to departure. They did not ammend the time, nor did they call at our Euston Hotel the next morning. The helpful Concierge at the hotel called Hotelink when they didn't arrive and they insisted that they had called, albeit an hour early. They did not speak to any staff at the hotel, nor ask for us. The Concierge insists that they simply didn't come. He said that this Company does this on a regular basis. It cost us 60 POUND for a limousine transfer to the airport and neither Octopus, nor Hotelink will compensate us. Very dishonest people.... Read review

The next step shows a list of hotels with and/or without free parking. Free Parking is usually about 15 days. Having chosen the Hotel, click the hotel name and you are presented with a list of facilities offered which is comprehensive and more often than not includes free transfers to and from the airport. Advantages: Right on the Airport doorstep and connected via walkways.
Disadvantages: NOT cheap!

...This hotel is connected to Gatwick airport making it a cinch to use. The airport connects to this by way of following the signs along a few coridoors and into the Hotel. If you can get to Gatwick Airport by train, the hotel is quite easy to get to inside, just follow the signs. You stay under the walkways keeping dry and dont have to fiddle about with buses or taxi's. The rooms are quite basic considering the costs but, quite simply, you are paying for the convenience of not having to fiddle about with getting hotel buses to/from the airport. This is the real crunch of using the hotel. Naturally the rooms are ok with the usual facilites like on-suite toilets, TV, charge-able mini-bar, large bed unless you ordered a King-size. The food is pricey, as are drinks, but there is no need to be a captive audiance as its easy to walk... Read review

...and working, and plenty of them. Free Internet Pretty much the whole airport has free wireless internet, good for killing time sending last minuet emails. ...Ibis Hotel Gatwick airport . As it can be a worry getting to airports for early morning flights, I now choose the option of booking an airport hotel for the night. I did an internet search and found the Gatwick Ibis the best price for the night I wanted to stay. Approx 41 pounds per room weekends and 46 pounds weekdays. I stayed on the night 26th august for 46 pounds. . From Gatwick airport, courtesy coach stand, there is a free phone to the hotel to request transfer to hotel. A minibus arrived within 10 minutes for the short transfer to the hotel. At check in desk you can book your transfer to the airport for the following morning. Transfers are every 30 minutes from 0500, night transfers are available on request. . The room itself was a rather small double bedded air conditioned room. It had TV and tea and coffee making facilities... Read review

...an excellent hotel very close to the airport. ideal for late arrivals or early departures. the hotel caters for people's needs well, including disposable razors and toiletries if you forget them or if luggage has been lost somewhere- it does happen. the food and drink service is excellent and the staff aim to cater for your dietary needs as well. it is family friendly and the rooms are spacious and have double glazing. there is a courtesy bus from/to the airport, you just need to use the complimentary phone in arrivals hall or hotel reception and they will come and pick up from outside the arrivals hall. They also have smoking rooms to avail as you wish. A smloking area outside as well.... Read review

...I stayed in this hotel on a weekend in Paris with my girlfriend. I was really impressed by this hotel, infact it is the best hotel ive ever stayed in. There are frequent shuttle buses to the hotel from CDG airport and this takes approx 5-10mins. The driver took our bags and loaded it into the van for us. When we checked into the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quick and easy to check in. Our room was excellent, quite large with a brilliant bathroom. Bath and seperate shower, the bathroom was spaceous (double of size of some others ive stayed in) and largely made from marble. The view from the hotel was not as bad as expected for an airport hotel and a retired concorde could be seen. The room was very comfortable and clean with plenty of storage space.
