This airport had been built on 1998 as part of the government project to host our first Commonwealth Games and also one of the mega projects for the MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor). The main objective and slogan for this airport was to bring the world to Malaysia and Malaysia to the world. As what I know, the cost to build this airport is around £1.25 to £2.00 billion pound. Disadvantages: Min. 48 hours stay, they park your car.

I am of course referring to airport car parking. At its best the whole experience of using your airport car park should be so insignificant that you scarcely even register that part of your trip. In reality things can be very different. At its worst a bad choice of car park can delay your arrival at the terminal and fire up your check-in stress levels. On the way home, a bad choice of car park can extend your journey into a long wait for a bus that eventually takes you to a distant field. ...Nottingham East Midlands Airport is a regional Airport situated in the Midlands. Serving a range of Destinations, and offering a nice experience it’s the Airport of choice for me. I’ve flown out of NEMA (Nottingham East Midlands Airport) loads of times now and it is simply one of the best Airports to fly out of. Its situation is a plus as its near Leicester, Derby and Nottingham and adjacent to the M1 the Airport is easy to reach. The Airport is well signposted and easily found. The Airport serves a number of destinations (78 as of Feb 2005 to be exact) and with First Choice launching its Long-Haul operations from there, even Mexico can be reach from the Midlands! Advantages: Does it's job
Disadvantages: resembles a cow shed

...WEll this airport, funny enough , is in Coventry. Luckily it is easily found and well sign posted, apart from the planes around it, you'd think it was a cow shed not an airport. To get to the airport it is easily reached by car. The train station is 3 miles from the airport and there is a bus (number 737) which runs between the airport and station hourly. There are car parking spaces right outside the terminal, these are available for up to an hour for those picking up and dropping off travellers. There is airport car parking available around the other side of the airport, there is a free shuttle bus from the car park to the terminal. The cheapest way is to pre-book, this costs £41 for 7 days. Disadvantages: Not near City Centre and 5 miles from the airport.

As usual, I went into the Hilton site at http://hhonors.hilton.com via the Quidco website, (www.quidco.com) which meant I got 6% cashback, not to be sneezed at even if it does take a while to come through! Advantages: Clear signs, difficult to get lost
Disadvantages: Transport to and from the airport is not great

...Flying down to Phukets’ International airport ( Code HKT ) you get quite a strange site ( assuming you are a t the right window ). You see an island below you with quite a narrow peninsula, full of trees and a clearing running across from one side to the other that has something on it. Surely not the airport and runway you think. A quick bank of the aircraft to one side and oops, that is the airport! If you are nervous flyer, it probably best not to look when you land as although the airport can land fully laden Boeing 747s, it does give the impression that should the airplane land 20 yards too long you will end up in the sea. In fact when you are taxing to the building you can actually see the sea just a hundred yards or so beyond the end of the runway! At the moment the majority of flights into and out of the airport... ...We've all seen the programmes - frustrated passengers, delays galore, no facilities, sweaty overcrowded terminals. The joys of heading for a typical tourist hotspot. Well, it seems it is possible for an airport to actually add to the holiday experience rather than ruin it. Wanna know more....read on.... Until a few weeks ago, my most recent visit to the Costa del Sol was in 1987, so it was memories of a terrible Malaga Airport that were fixed in my mind as we set off from Gatwick. However, the Malaga Airport of 2003 is vastly improved and no longer the nightmare beginning and end to an otherwise pleasurable vacation. In fact, I was so impressed, that I immediately looked for others reviews on Ciao only to find that one of the most popular airports for British holidaymakers did not even have a Ciao listing. Advantages: Nice enough hotel, good for meetings
Disadvantages: Keep in mind the time you need to transfer to the airport

...Hotel airports are a drag. Hardly anyone really wants to stay in them and they never seem to try very hard to keep their clients happy because most don't come back very often. To me they are just a 'necessary evil' in the process of travel rather than places I'd actually choose to spend time (or for that matter money). I've experienced three types of airport hotel. My favourite (probably because they are least common) are the hotels inside airports where transit passengers can hire a room for just a few hours to have a shower, a nap or watch TV - these are relatively rare and can be fantastic if you have a long connection time (I'm thinking of an 10 hour connection I once had in Kuala Lumpur. The second group are the ultra-expensive business hotels within a short stagger of the airport which are often used for business meetings... Read review
