Aiwa NSX-V400 Mini Sound System - Great buy
Advantages: Price, sound quality
Disadvantages: None
...Aiwa NSX-V400 Mini Music System
I bought this system just over a year ago and I am all praises.
At PDS135.00, at the time, it was a great deal. Prices for this model or the equivalent new model are probably cheaper now.
This one has a single CD player but I could have got almost the identical model with 3 CD player for about PDS50.00 more.
It also has a double cassette player with continuous play, FM/MW/LW digital radio, 70 Watt speakers (although I was disappointed that these we’re made in the Czech Republic instead of Japan), Surround system, 4 preset graphic equalizer and a host of other specs.
The sound quality and output are very good. Do you really want other models and brands, which give you unusable amount of watts per channel, if you’re using it at home? Would you ever use this maximum output? Well...

Aiwa NSX-V70 Stereo System.
Advantages: Good tone quality, good tape recording quality
Disadvantages: Needs longer leads on speakers - needs frequent CD lens cleaning
...1995 seems like a long time ago but that's when we bought our Aiwa NSX-V70 from Comets and, although I am aware that others seem to have given this stereo system bad reviews, we have found ours to be really excellent. Maybe it's something to do with acoustics but we find the tone very rich, particularly on its equalizer settings - I purchased a couple of phono leads and connected to our nicam Sony VCR and/or DVD player. Another thing that must be said, is that we have not "hammered" the system to maybe that's why is has given such long service.
Although the original price was near to £400, I have since seen the same unit going on Ebay from around £50. The prices have come right down on these units now.
Facilities:
The two speakers have two sets of cables, one (twin) set for standard stereo and another (quad) set...

Kuschall Compact wheelchair - a good compromise
Advantages: Fairly lightweight and maneuverable. Superbly compact.
Disadvantages: Folding chairs will never achieve the performance of rigid lightweights.
...Anyone who uses a wheelchair and lives in somewhat cramped conditions will understand the need for a folding wheelchair. Generally, ultralight, high-performance wheelchairs take up a lot of space, so many users opt for folding chairs instead. However, many folding chairs are heavy, bulky and difficult to self-propel effectively. The Compact is none of these things.
I am very satisfied with the Kuschall Compact, on the whole. For a folding chair, the Compact's performance is very good. It is light, at 7.5kg without its removable parts, and fairly maneuverable, although not as maneuverable as a sports/ultralight chair. It copes well with corners, long distances and small hills. I, personally, find it comfortable to sit in, although need to move around after sitting in it for a few hours.
From my perspective, having a folding chair is...

Energizer Compact Recharger
Advantages: Quick Charge
Disadvantages: LED lights
...Hi today I will be reviewing an Energizer Compact Recharger.
I bought this from Asda a whole back now and got 4 free 2500 mAh batteries with it.
This plugs into a mains socket. I find to charge 2 batteries it takes around 2 hours for them to last 4 days in an Xbox 360 controller. I have never used it for charging 4 batteries but you have the option of doing this on the reverse side of the device.
The charger that I have is different from the picture shown in that it has 2 AA slots on the front and 2 on the reverse side. It has 2 red LED lights on the front. One shows if the front batteries are charging and the other shows if the back ones are charging. I usually use this overnight to charge my batteries because it means they are always ready for the morning and are fully charged as well.
One complaint I have about this is...

Proton Persona Compact GLI (or any other Compact / Satria)
Advantages: Everything!!!
Disadvantages: Cost of Mitsubishi parts, and high insurance- but well worth it!
...This is an amazing car.
I have a Proton Compact GLi 1.3 12v
I have had mine 20 months now, and he hasn't put a foot wrong (touch wood).
He is fast - can out accelerate any other 1.3 we have found, and to be honest, can give most 1.6's a run for their money. They look amazing, and come in a nice range of colours (mine is dark metalic blue.)
I had had a Mini based Kit car for 2 years, and a Classic Mini for a year. Sadly, I had to get something bigger, so bought a Corsa B 1.4 LSi (had it for about a year) - nice enough car, but very sluggish, and poor handling, after this, I decided to sell both the Corsa and The Mini (Still keeping the kit car.) I looked around all sorts of cars. I wanted something bigger, faster, better handling, and better looking than the Corsa. I looked at MG- ZR's, Honda Civics, Rover 200's and 25's...

Ace Aiwa
Advantages: Sound quality, value for money.
Disadvantages: Only single tape deck and single Cd player.
...Having previously owned a Phillips micro system which was very poor I was looking to Aiwa for a vast improvement. That is what I found when I bought one of their mid-range micro systems.
The system contains a single tape deck, single CD and 3 band digital tuner.
The range of features on it are wide and useful, while not being overcomplicated. The sound quality is excellent, at all levels. The powered sub-woofers on the speakers allow revenge on any annoying neighbours!
The system is also very reliable. I have owned it over a year now and have experience no problems, as opposed to with my previous Phillips system which was fixed 3 times in its first year....

Compact Stylish
Advantages: Compact, easy to clip to clothing, simple to use/set up
Disadvantages: sound could be a little louder
..., AAC, AIFF, Audible, MP3 formats.
Finally
I would recommend this mp3 for all the active people out there, its compact and solid, I have dropped my own serveral times and it stood the test, my only gripe I have it that the sound is not as loud as I would like<maybe this is a good thing for my ears>
I now seen the ipod shuffles come in many colours and there is now a 2 gig version available.
It cannot be knocked for price, im also starting to see more and more assessories becoming available which is only a good thing, if your,ve never had an mp3 player before this is the one for you to start on, so come on, join the 2nd generation!...

Flymo Turbo Compact 330 Vision
Advantages: powerful, efficient, easy to manouvre
Disadvantages: needs all the spacers to cut the grass low enough
...I bought this to replace my old Flymo 300 plus which after 7 years had finally collapsed, largely due to my mowing over a tree branch which broke the impeller.
I decided to go for a bigger mower and am very pleased with the Turbo Compact 330 Vision which is Flymo's replacement for the old TC 330 Compact. It floats across the lawn beautifully and picks up a lot more grass than my old one. It doesn't pick up as much as a rotary but if your lawn is average sized or an odd shape a rotary isn't really suited anyway and I can't say that the bits it does leave are either noticeable or a problem.
If anything it's too good at hovering and needs all 3 spacers fitting between the blade and impeller to get the lawn as close cropped as I like but having said that it doesn't need to be any closer so is not actually a problem if you're not comparing...

Great HiFi for a great price - the Aiwa LCX-150
Advantages: Great features, reliable, good speakers and remote...
Disadvantages: None
...if the system is damaged during the set amount of time (I'm almost sure it was 1 year), and it has not been tampered with, then if you have proof of purchase you can get the unit repaired for free.
Enough about the purchase, let's move on to have a look at what the system has to offer.
WHAT DO YOU GET FOR YOUR MONEY?
In terms of hardware, the Aiwa LCX-150 package includes the system itself, allowing you to play CDs and cassettes as well as listen to the radio. Also included are two speakers, described later, a remote control, an FM radio antenna, a MW/LW radio antenna and paperwork including a manual, warranty info etc.
FEATURES
I will list the features under four main category headings, which will be marked with an asterix (*).
*Playing a CD*
Obviously this compact disc stereo system will allow you to play CDs, this...

Road Angel Compact - REVIEW - A must have
Advantages: Detects most cameras
Disadvantages: Not 100% accurate.
...The road angel compact is one of the leading brands of speed camera detectors.
Plugged into a cigarette lighter, the unit sits in a cradle (attached to windscreen by suction pads).
The Road Angel Compact detects:
Gatso
TruVelo
SPECS Watchman
Speedcurb
DS2
(and a few others).
There is also the option to enable accident blackspots, schools, railway crossings and mobile cameras.
The system works by synchronization with the road angel server (online). The user pays a subscription of £3.99 a month to access updates. I find that once a week is sufficient. The database is updated constantly - each user having the ability to add a new camera, or indeed delete one, which is then uploaded to the server during synchronization.
The Road angel compact looks great. Sitting neatly in the cradle, the neon blue screen gives it style...
