Aiwa NSX-V70 Stereo System.

Advantages: Good tone quality, good tape recording quality
Disadvantages: Needs longer leads on speakers - needs frequent CD lens cleaning

...1995 seems like a long time ago but that's when we bought our Aiwa NSX-V70 from Comets and, although I am aware that others seem to have given this stereo system bad reviews, we have found ours to be really excellent. Maybe it's something to do with acoustics but we find the tone very rich, particularly on its equalizer settings - I purchased a couple of phono leads and connected to our nicam Sony VCR and/or DVD player. Another thing that must be said, is that we have not "hammered" the system to maybe that's why is has given such long service. Although the original price was near to £400, I have since seen the same unit going on Ebay from around £50. The prices have come right down on these units now. Facilities: The two speakers have two sets of cables, one (twin) set for standard stereo and another (quad) set...

Aiwa NSX-V400 Mini Sound System - Great buy

Advantages: Price, sound quality
Disadvantages: None

...Aiwa NSX-V400 Mini Music System I bought this system just over a year ago and I am all praises. At PDS135.00, at the time, it was a great deal. Prices for this model or the equivalent new model are probably cheaper now. This one has a single CD player but I could have got almost the identical model with 3 CD player for about PDS50.00 more. It also has a double cassette player with continuous play, FM/MW/LW digital radio, 70 Watt speakers (although I was disappointed that these we’re made in the Czech Republic instead of Japan), Surround system, 4 preset graphic equalizer and a host of other specs. The sound quality and output are very good. Do you really want other models and brands, which give you unusable amount of watts per channel, if you’re using it at home? Would you ever use this maximum output? Well...

Bose SoundDock Digital Music System Review

Advantages: Superb Sound, Very Loud, Ideal for Ipods
Disadvantages: not go to travel with, Extremely Expensive

...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Can't get much simpler. It also runs off a wall...

Great HiFi for a great price - the Aiwa LCX-150

Advantages: Great features, reliable, good speakers and remote...
Disadvantages: None

...INTRODUCTION - THE PURCHASE A few years ago now I had finally decided to make the step from cassettes to CDs. I had already bought a couple of CDs and played them in my computer, but it was now time to look for a HiFi for use in my bedroom. As with the Aiwa Walkman you may have read one of recent ops about, I had a look in Argos for a company that I trusted. I had bought Aiwa products before and I thought (and still do) that they are a very reliable company with good quality products., so when I saw this HiFi for £100 (it is cheaper now - read on for the current price), I immediately read about its features and ten minutes later it was in the boot of the car on the way home. The unit plays CDs, cassettes and the radio, as well as having several other useful features. The Aiwa LCX-150 was very easy to set up even for me, and since I...

excellent shelf system

Advantages: very cheap, excellent sound quality, really easy to use and set up
Disadvantages: only has one set of aux in jacks

...I took a risk and bought this at a car boot sale when me and the old man use to go every sunday. The guy I bought it off said it was virtually brand new (it looked it), and that it was a wonderful shelf system - the only reason he was selling it was that him and his girlfriend were moving in together and they had no need for two. I was looking forward to getting home and checking my new shelf system out - I didn't really know anything about the brand Aiwa, and have never ever seen this CD Player elsewhere. It worked perfect, and had no problems at all - and still havn't, a good 4 or 5 years on. I must admit, I didn't use the system all that much the first few years of owning it, I just knew for £20 it was a good buy for a virtually new shelf system, as they were quite expensive in store. My main use for it now AUX function, which is...

Review of Aiwa XR-EM20 / Micro system

Excellent travel system

Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional
Disadvantages: Slightly heavy

...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. She's in the buggy part now which has three postions and harnesses which is great. Overall fab...

Review of Graco Quattro Tour Travel System

A bulky travel system

Advantages: Big Shopping basket, Suitable until baby wants to walk, Great for Ramming people out of the way (joke)
Disadvantages: Very Heavy, Bulky and Hard to find somewhere to put the pushchair when not using it.

...I bought this travel system because i thought it looked good, boy was i wrong. Ever since i brought it i hated but my partner wouldnt let me take it back because he liked it. -Car Seat- My son never liked the car seat so it didnt get used much. It scrunched him up to much and even though they say you can use it until the baby is 29lbs my son would fit in it when he got to 20lbs. The only good thing about the car seat was that it was easy to fit into a car and onto the pushcchair to make it a travel system. -Pushchair- As i said above my son didnt like it in the carseat so i had to put him in the pushchair from about 2weeks old, this pushchair is ment to be suitable from birth. The strap did not fit properly so many times i found that my son had wriggled out from them, this is not good especially when you start having your...

Ace Aiwa

Advantages: Sound quality, value for money.
Disadvantages: Only single tape deck and single Cd player.

...Having previously owned a Phillips micro system which was very poor I was looking to Aiwa for a vast improvement. That is what I found when I bought one of their mid-range micro systems. The system contains a single tape deck, single CD and 3 band digital tuner. The range of features on it are wide and useful, while not being overcomplicated. The sound quality is excellent, at all levels. The powered sub-woofers on the speakers allow revenge on any annoying neighbours! The system is also very reliable. I have owned it over a year now and have experience no problems, as opposed to with my previous Phillips system which was fixed 3 times in its first year....

Best Travel System but for how long?

Advantages: all in one solution
Disadvantages: Heavy and large when folded

...We bought the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System after looking at everything on the market comparing costs, accessories, weight etc. This travel system was for my first child so I had no previous experience to help me. The whole concept of the travel system is revolutionary; my mom was so impressed. Having the car seat/infant carrier which effectively turns the buggy into a pram and also means that your baby who has fallen asleep in the car can be effortlessly moved into the buggy, is a marvelous invention! We bought the Graco fro Babies R Us in January 2005 for £190. It came with an auto base, weather shield, foot muff and changing bag (the only thing I have had to buy additionally is a parasol). The autobase is a brilliant idea. You fix it in the car once and the infant carrier just clicks in place. No messing around...

I received this album as a gift for christmas , and i could tell you that it was one of the best presents i managed to get.
