Power to Shift Stains

...Since discovering ciao I have spent the past few weeks sorting through my box of cleaning agents for products to write about. I remember AJAX bleach from my youth in the 1970?s (gasp), since then our choice seems to have increased somewhat. However AJAX still have association with sensible bleach and disinfectant cleaning agents. Unlike some liquid bleaches it has no strong smell unfortunately the gritty content of the bleach tends to make it more of a risk sensitive surfaces. They recommend it for toilets, tiles, cookers and other hard household surfaces. My AJAX container did mention that AJAX cream would be a more suitable option when extra care is needed. Clears your nostrils that is for sure.

Advantages: Excellent cleaner
Disadvantages: Smell very overpowering and liquid is colourless

...Can you clean your kitchen whilst holding your breath? Go on, give it a try. All you need is a bottle of 'Ajax Kitchen Wipe-Over' liquid and your on your way!!!!! Don't get me wrong, the product does do what you want it to, ie clean your worksurfaces. Just spray on and wipe off and your kitchen worktops are gleaming. But at what cost? The smell is very overpowering and there are no instructions on the bottle regarding using it in a ventilated area (you will have to open a window once you have used it I can assure you). Just to describe how strong the smell is, you walk through our hallway, through the lounge, then dining room to get to the kitchen, on opening the front door after using the cleaner the smell 'hits' you in the face like a sledgehammer. ...After the disaster in Euro 2000 i think Kevin Keegan was lucky to keep his job. He fooled the nation into thinking we had a chance of winning it, what a load of crap that turned out to be. But the long term future for English football looks promising. Tesco doesn't torture kittens

Advantages: Own brand products not tested on animals
Disadvantages: Irrelevant to me

...Apart from Tesco and Co-op, every other supermarket in the UK tests its own-brand cleaning products on animals - washing-up liquid, toilet cleaners, shampoo, detergent, etc. What's more ALL of the big names in this field do likewise - Flash, Ariel, Fairy, Persil, Surf, Brillo, Daz, Ajax, Mr Muscle, etc etc. These brands claim that they HAVE to test on animals because they are constantly introducing new products and each one needs to be tested on animals. This is not true - the truth is that testing on animals is CHEAPER than other methods. If it was impossible, then how would Tesco, Co-op, and the few animal-friendly cleaning products manage it? The law only requires animal testing on household products if they are new (untested). Manufacturers could avoid animal suffering by only using combinations of those chemicals that have...

Thrown-ins however, are passed onto the opposition should a player attempt these too far from where they were originally awarded. Customisation of the season and cup competitions allows for a change in the number of teams if the cup or league maybe too lengthy or not. Numerous custom teams and their players can be created via the Editor, of which you can select their shirt design - from the Hoops to Ajax - and strip colours. These can then be saved. ...a few other films, James Remar ('Ajax') plays a bruiser and might be recognised from a short stint on 'Sex in the City' but beyond that these actors have remained unknowns and that adds to the film because you really don't know who's going to make it. The action is quite intense and brutal and although unrealistic (can you break a baseball bat on someone's head?) it does fit the tome of the film. My favourite aspect is the way the different gangs have different stereotypes. The Warriors simply have their leather waistcoats as colours, wereas other gangs fit their niche well - Baseball fury decked all out in uniforms with bats, the Turnballs the skinheads and the Orphans a very rag-tag group.
