AKG K77 Wired Headphones

Advantages: Great sound quality and very comfortable.
Disadvantages: Fairly loose if you have a small head!

...I recieved these headphones for christmas this year and was very pleased. I have owned other AKG products before so I was hoping they would live up to my expectations. The quality of these headphones was very good and I was very pleased with the look of them. The sound quality was also very good as the bass realy comes through welland the sound is crystal clear. They are very comfortable and can be adjusted perfectly. My only complaint would be that they feel a little loose and fall of quite easily if you shake your head too much. Being closed back, while you are listening to music or something, there is virtualy no sound escaping for other people to hear. The support that you get from the company is very good as you can ask them anything via email. Overall, the headphones are very good for the ammount you will pay in most shops...

Review of AKG K77

AKG Hearo 787 headphones

Advantages: signal quality, logic 7 decoder, comfortable and fairly nice to look at too
Disadvantages: cost

.... Of course you don't have to use logic 7, theres also prologic and stereo decoders too, but who would when you have logic 7!! They're also very comfortable, with an auto adjusting headband they don't slip off as you walk around. The battery life is excellent, easily coping with a couple of movies and more; its very easy to keep them topped up as they charge when you place them back in the cradle. In todays world of wireless this and wireless that, its easy to find 2 devices that interfere with each others signals; the AKG easily copes with this, with a convenient channel selector button on the headphones themselves. Perhaps the only real disadvantage of this system is that it is on the pricey side, so you would have to be a complete audio-obsessive to get them....

Advantages: Typical AKG bulid quality - sturdy, comfortable and brilliant sounding
Disadvantages: None that i can think of...

Mattygroves and Her Unexpectedly Good Earphones

Advantages: Superb sound, comfortable fit, volume control on the cord
Disadvantages: Some earbuds were missing, slighly pricy for in-ear earphones

...I am coming to realise that iPod/MP3 player earphones take quite a beating indeed. I have owned a number of pairs of said earphones over the past two or three years, and inevitably, eventually they break down (normally the wires get frayed or something, and so you receive audio out of only one ear). The durability of the earphones is compromised also by my habit of wrapping the cord around the iPod itself (apparently a no-no, but I've never found a sufficient convenient alternative). I use in the ear soft earphones. I have small ear canals, and so find rigid earpieces uncomfortable. I'd be tempted by over the ear headphones, but they are inconvenient to transport. Advantages: The come packaged when you buy an ipod.
Disadvantages: Poor Sound Quality, Uncomfortable.

I used my ipod earphones for a few weeks after I got my ipod but as soon as I found a suitable replacement, I got rid of them. Fashionista earphones!

Advantages: Stylish, storage pouch, guarantee, great quality sound
Disadvantages: Not suitable for all ear sizes, takes a while to put them on properly

...I received these earphones for my birthday last year. They came well packaged in a box, with store guarantee (cost around £90), complete with a carry pouch! First impressions were amazing, especially in comparison to the usual £20 earphones that I would buy. These earphones work by having a silver tube which can be extended (to fit all ear sizes), and a black clip that clips them round the back of your ear. Additionally, the actual earpiece swivels on the tube, to allow complete insertion into the ear. A masterpiece of design. Unfortunately though - this design is not entirely practical for music listeners 'on the go'. I find myself fiddling with them for quite some time before I am comfortable with the way that they are sitting. A good pair of decent headphones

Advantages: Great price, good quality
Disadvantages: Not quite as detailed as a professional pair - although this is to be expected!

...I consider these headphones to be excellent value for money. While not quite as good quality as AKG's high-end headphones, these are nevertheless an excellent pair of basic decent headphones for what you pay for them. I bought these for both listening for pleasure and for recording rough demos in the studio, and have found them very suitable for both. The closed back means they are suitable for studio recording - I have experienced very little leakage - and I find the sound quality is very good - although as you might expect, not as detailed as the more expensive headphones - with an even balance across treble and bass. They are lightweight and fit comfortably [again, not quite as closely and snugly as a pair that you might pay £90 for, but very well considering the price]. All in all, a useful pair of everyday headphones...

5/5 Earphones

Advantages: Stylish design; 10/10 Sound Quality; Stylish earphones pouch;
Disadvantages: Discomfort initially; Expensive; Covers come off too easily

...Got these earphones for my birthday, so it's been about 6 months, and I have nothing but praise for them. Most importantly, the sound quality is perfect 10/10. My girlfriend who borrowed it once was left awestruck by the quality, likening it to being in a top-notch cinema with high-quality surround sound system. The sound quality makes average songs sound like hits. Next, the design. While it may be a little awkward to put it on and some may have difficulty fitting the earphones to the shape of their ears, I'm personally a very big fan of the design. I like the look of it and love the feel of it. You will most probably experience some discomfort when you first put it on, but it'll soon pass, well at least that's always been the case for me.
