AKG K240 Studio Headphones

Advantages: Typical AKG bulid quality - sturdy, comfortable and brilliant sounding

Advantages: Quiet, Good looking

...After weeks of searching the internet for a new computer, I finally settled for the Dell Studio 540. I have owned this computer for a little over two months now, and have to say, that I am quite pleased with it?s performance. When it was delivered it was well packed, and all the glossy parts of the base unit were covered with protected covering, which takes a few moments to peel off. Everything was pre-installed so I didn?t need to use the enclosed windows vista operating disc, or drivers. Once I plugged it in, the first thing I noticed was how quite it was compared to my old pc, the first few seconds it?s just a wee bit loud, but even that is still quieter than my old pc, but it soon settles down to just a whisper. AKG K77 Wired Headphones

Advantages: Great sound quality and very comfortable.
Disadvantages: Fairly loose if you have a small head!

...I recieved these headphones for christmas this year and was very pleased. I have owned other AKG products before so I was hoping they would live up to my expectations. The quality of these headphones was very good and I was very pleased with the look of them. The sound quality was also very good as the bass realy comes through welland the sound is crystal clear. They are very comfortable and can be adjusted perfectly. My only complaint would be that they feel a little loose and fall of quite easily if you shake your head too much. Being closed back, while you are listening to music or something, there is virtualy no sound escaping for other people to hear. The support that you get from the company is very good as you can ask them anything via email. Overall, the headphones are very good for the ammount you will pay in most shops...

AKG Hearo 787 headphones

Advantages: signal quality, logic 7 decoder, comfortable and fairly nice to look at too
Disadvantages: cost

.... Of course you don't have to use logic 7, theres also prologic and stereo decoders too, but who would when you have logic 7!! They're also very comfortable, with an auto adjusting headband they don't slip off as you walk around. The battery life is excellent, easily coping with a couple of movies and more; its very easy to keep them topped up as they charge when you place them back in the cradle. In todays world of wireless this and wireless that, its easy to find 2 devices that interfere with each others signals; the AKG easily copes with this, with a convenient channel selector button on the headphones themselves. Perhaps the only real disadvantage of this system is that it is on the pricey side, so you would have to be a complete audio-obsessive to get them....

Hollywood Studios

Advantages: Fun, brilliant for everyone

...On my trip to Florida we had a day to spend at the MGM Studios which is part of Walt Disney World. However it is worth noting that as from the 1st of January this year (2008), the studios changed their name to Hollywood studios. Anyway I thought I would share my views on this park as it really is excellent and a great place for all the family to go. Entrance fees: Just a quick note on this but most UK customers will pre purchase their tickets to all the parks before going to Florida and this really is the best way to do it. On an average cost of £200 per adult, a 3 week ultimate ticket as they are called, will allow you access to all the Disney themed parks which include the Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon as well as giving free entry to some of the clubs...

Advantages: Good value for money!!
Disadvantages: Sometimes hectic to get through to them!!

...Studio is a catalogue which you can buy practically everything going on there, including game consoles, bedding, kitchen ware, you name it, it is on there!! I find studio pretty good value, they have offers on every month and some items are so cheap, you can get items personalise. You can order online, over the phone, by post with a form that you get with the catalogue or statement if you are a previous customer. I must admit though, they are a nightmare to get through to if you need help with something. You can pay for your items over a period of time or pay straight out right. If you fail to pay on time they do charge you an fee of £25 to cover costs of the letter reminding letter etc...you can ring up and pay over the phone by debit or credit card (with credit card there is a fee £2.50) with their automatic service...
