ATS - Exhaustingly Good
Advantages: Fast Service, Courteous Service
Disadvantages: Garages will differ around the UK
...trip, but after not hearing from ATS by 12:40pm I gave them a quick reminder call to see if my exhaust parts had arrived.
The gentleman who answered was very courteous and explained that the parts hadn?t arrived yet, but they were due any minute now, and he would give me a return call as soon as they were in.
Being an impatient little lady, I decided to drive round to ATS anyway, considering it was 10 minutes away, and figured the parts would have arrived by the time I got there. Luckily for me they had, and the receptionist said he was just about to call me?of that I?ll never know.
Speaking directly to the mechanic I was told that my car was next in line, so would be in the garage within the next 5 minutes. It was actually quicker than that, as I didn?t have time to finish my cigarette before I saw my car being hoisted up the ramp...

Evolution review
Advantages: Great cast of characters, lots of funny moments
Disadvantages: None
...Evolution - a theory and now a film! It's directed by Ivan Reitman, who gave us the classic "Ghostbusters" and not so classic but still very good "Ghostbusters 2". Here, he helms another supernatural comedy, and even manages to bring aboard Dan Aykroyd in a small cameo role.
When a meteorite falls to earth near the small town of Glen Canyon, two college professors, Dr. Ira Kane (David Duchovny) and Prof. Harry Phineas Block (Orlando Jones), are given the job of examining it. While they are doing just that, they find organisms of an extraterrestrial origin. And not just that, they are evolving at a incredible rate, even while Ira is watching. Soon the military show up and completely seal off the meteor.
Completely ostracized from their discovery, they keep doing research, and are surprised when the original discoverer of the meteor...

Evanescence-The Open Door
Advantages: Brillant stuff
Disadvantages: one or two lacking tracks
...Evanescence:The Open Door
Evanescence a well know heavy metal'gothic' band (Although I wouldn't put the gothic in there') First released their debut album 'Fallen' in 2003 and followed that up with their live DVD 'Anywhere But Home' in 2004. In 2006 with Wind-UP Records they released this album 'The Open Door.'
In my oppinion it is a great album, although I do prefer their previous album 'Fallen'.
Their tracks 'Lithium' and 'Call Me When You're Sober' both have Music video's which are to a great standard.

Evolution
Advantages: A good explanation
Disadvantages: Not applicable
...Evolution in the Darwinian sense has nothing to do with what people believe in. It is not a matter of faith as some creationists suggest. nor does it have anything to do with how the universe began. Biological evolution is the change in the genetic composition of a population during successive generations, as a result of natural selection acting on the genetic variation among individuals. This can culminate in development of a new species. According to Darwin's theory of evolution, only the organisms best adapted to their environment tend to survive and transmit their genetic characteristics in increasing numbers to succeeding generations while those less adapted tend to be eliminated.
Creationists and those who believe in intelligent design will use pseudo scientific arguments such as irreducible complexity and claim that there is...

Wide Open Spaces
Advantages: Great first album, good introduction to country
Disadvantages: None
...Wide Open Spaces
If you?re looking for a great starter country album then look no further than Wide Open Spaces by The Dixie Chicks. It?s a great introduction if you have never really listened to country before and are not really a fan of the old classics yet, like Dolly Parton, etc, but want to experience a bit of the blue grass, country and that whole scene and get into the music. This album offers you upbeat, toe tapping, yee-hawing, classic story telling country with a new modern, sexy twist.
The Dixie Chicks is made up of three females, Martie Maguire, Natalie Maines and Emily Robison. They are the highest grossing female band in the US, selling over 36 million albums as of March 2009! They actually formed in 1989 with a different formation but did not release their debut album, Wide Open Spaces, until 1998.
They have...

Behind Enemy Lines
Advantages: Entertaining the whole way through
Disadvantages: Slightly on the budget side
...Last night Behind enemy lines was on Film Four and I thought I?d give it ago, I had never heard of the film before and so did not know what to expect, I always give the info on the TV a read before getting into a new film as unfortunately I am one of the Biased people of the world who find a film more worth trying if it has good actors and a good synopsis. Judging a book by its cover and all that (slap on the wrists).
First impressions
Before the film had started I had my doubts, the cast of actors includes Owen Wilson, and after seeing more than a fair share of his films, I was doubtful to whether he could pull off what was being described on the TV info as an ?action/thriller? I have never seen him in a serious role and although this gave doubts it also intrigued me into seeing the film and made me want to see if he would fail...

Do The Evolution
Advantages: Funny, good effects, tongue-in-cheek
Disadvantages: Some cheesey moments, bit weak in places
...So, I hear that Ghostbusters 3 has been in development hell for quite a while, and there is something holding it back. Ivan Reitman is obviously fed up with waiting for it to happen, so here is Evolution. Ghostbusters 3 in all but name and with no "DON'T CROSS THE BEAMS!".
I understand the movie was originally going to be a horror, this is very telling as wen you watch the film, you may jump once or twice (me and my girlfriend did), and can see where comedy has replaced "Oh my God it's eating hiom alive" moments.
The Ghostbusters theme comes from three ordinary joes (David Duchovny, Orlando Jones and Seam Wiliam Scott (I think I've gotten his name wrong) stare at a meteroite for a while (strangely, the meteor lands without mashing up the nearby town a la Armageddon) and scrape some ooze off it.
Back in Fox, er, I mean Ira...

Ebley tyres and exhaust
Advantages: cheap and great service
Disadvantages: none
...Having had the exhaust on the car go and tying it up with string as you do, we had to go and get a new one.
We telephoned around and you would not believe the difference in price. We were limited as to how far we could drive with it tied up so could not go to a large town and had to make do with Cirencester and a choice of three places.
At Kwik fit we were quoted at "just over £100" and at ATS they said it will be £110 plus £15 if the manifold bolts and springs are hard to get off - now you can buy these in places like Halfords for £6.00.
Then we telephoned the cheapest which was Ebley. They said £75.00.
On arrival there we found that they had to send for it from their other branch and this would take an hour. But, if we wanted to have a look around the town they would drive us there and pick us up. Now that is service.

The Open Door
Advantages: Great songs, great vocals, lovely album cover
Disadvantages: "Your Star"
...and quiet, but the chorus is powerful and strong.
11. Your Star (4:43): This song lets the album down, in my opinion. That's not to say it's bad, but it's just not as good as the rest. I really don't like how it opens, the lyrics are fine "I can see your star", but it's the way Lee sings those lines that bothers me. It's very high pitched, and dare I say it, slightly annoying. Once we're past that opening though, the song is a lot better, however the screechy opening is one that's repeated throughout.
12. All That I'm Living For (3:48): All The I'm Living For opens with the punchy "All that I'm living for, all that I'm dying for, all that I can't ignore", before moving into lilting-Evanescence territory in the verse, then back into the punchy, rocky style for the chorus. A great song, though the chorus is slightly repetitive.
13. Good...

Tyred? Exhausted? Avoid Kwik Fit! *UPDATED*
Advantages: Brake parts insured for life of car
Disadvantages: Very poor workmanship
...a couple of negative reports, they seem to have cleaned up their image.
I was greeted at the reception desk by a mechanic, complete with his trademark blue "Kwik Fit" overalls. After explaining the noise, he informed me of the Kwik Fit Brake Check.
"It's a complete check of your breaking system, and the cost of the service will be deducted from any work that needs doing." I was also presented with a leaflet explaining all that had just been said.
It sounded alright, so I left my car with them.
The reception area and visible workshop were very clean, and well equiped to cope with any of the services that they offer. The branch I went to also sell and fit tyres, exhausts, and shock absorbers.
About an hour later, I got the dreaded phone call...
"Hi it's **** from Kwik Fit. I've got some bad news I'm afraid - the noise you were hearing...
