...This single is sooo good that I bought it the day after it came out. Its taken from their latest album issues. This is one of the better KoRn songs, because unlike most of the others, it has no swearing on it, so its perfectly safe to play infront of the parents. It changes from really being quiet gentle to loud thumping which is really effective. This song is original and one of the best koRn songs ever. You can't clain to be a real koRn fan if you haven't heard ( and liked) this one.... Read review

...of the better know Gilbert and Sullivan songs. A Wand’ring Mistral I of course sung by Nanki-Poo. The trio Three little maids from school are we. The wonderful baritone solo of the Mikado A More Human Mikado never did in Japan exist. (In the version I watched, they altered the words to a more modern version). On A tree by a river a little Tom Tit (Tit willow) sung by Ko-Ko. The Synopsis The Mikado is ostensibly a love story – boy meets girl, boy fall in love with girl, boy looses girl, boy meets girl again, boy marries girl. Nanki-Poo, the son of the Mikado of Japan left his father's court to escape marriage with Katisha, an elderly lady. Disguised as a travelling musician, he met and fell in love with Yum-Yum, the young ward of Ko-Ko, a cheap tailor in the town of Titipu. ...Its now possible to buy direct international flights to Ko Samui but mostly only from other asian countries flying with Bangkok Airways. For a trip from europe its easier to go direct to Phuket or Bangkok and then buy an onwards Bangkok Airways flight to Samui Airport. This the most comfortable option but also the most expensive. Overnight trains are OK, cheap and functional but you have to sleep. If you make too much noise the locals get very angry. There are various bus/ferry combo tickets which are by far the cheapest option but also are definately the most uncomfortable (especially the overcrowded minibuses) and are regularily involved in accidents. Remeber never to eat or drink anything offered to you by strangers on a bus or train. Unfortunately many people have been drugged and robbed this way.... Read review

...It all started in the early nineties. The KoRn guys pretty much knew eachother well, even though they were playing in different bands at the time. Jonathan Davis was playing in a band called Sex Art, where the song "Blind" came from. In this band was also Ryan Schuck of Orgy, a good friend of Jonathan's. Brian "Head" Welch and James "Munky" Shaffer played together in a band called LAPD along with Fieldy and David Silveria, after going to high school together. So, then LAPD asked Jon to sing for them and there you have KoRn.KoRn's first album, a self-titled one, came out in 1994, on July 7th. The whole album was pretty much about childhood. The picture on the cover of the album referred to it, so did the child's writing inside the booklet. Many of the songs too, like "Daddy", even talk about a lost childhood, Jonathan's lost childhood... Read review

...Well this is KoRn's third LP, and clearly they've changed their style again, after what I thought was a poor second album in "Life Is Peachy". Maybe my title is a little inacurate as KoRn's first album was nothing short of brilliant but I consider this to be their best. Hard to define KoRn into a style as music, as they are very different from most bands. The innovative part of KoRn comes out in the bassist, Fieldy as far as I'm concerned. Listen to him play and you'll swear that it is not a bass-guitar. Not to be a conventional bassist, Fieldy describes himself as a drummer on bass. That's about as well as it can be described, but be assured that the bass lines are important to KoRn's sound. Jonathan Davis is on top form in this album, I can't understand how people can assume all Jon does is shoutand screaming. Aside from his shouting... Read review

...are fortunate that this National treasure is still available despite the calamities that have befallen it over the years and that performances continue to be given within it. THE PLOT Nanki-Poo is the son of the Emperor of Japan – the Mikado. He caught the eye of an elderly matron at court – Katisha – who proclaimed him for her own. To escape this fate he fled the court and hid in the town of Titipu playing in the town band. There, he fell in love with a local girl called Yum-Yum (ward of a tailor Ko-Ko who wants to marry her himself) before going off on his travels. The Mikado delivered a decree making flirting a capital offence. Ko-Ko, who had been thrown in prison and condemned to death by this time, is reprieved and made the Lord High Executioner. ...The most recent of KoRn's albums, not my personal favourite but still a damn good album. What inspired me to buy it was their great sucessfullness with their previous albums such as Life is Peachy and Follow the Leader. The cover is also pretty grabbing- there's a few different ones as they got their fans to draw them and used 3/4 of them. The one I bought was an orange background, a pale falling apart toy bear. It does hit you and at least make you pick it up. There's 16 tracks on the CD, each a couple of minutes long and of the usual high KoRn quality. My favourite is one that was released as a single, Falling away from Me. Although the lyrics to each song are totally individual, if you just listen to the CD from start to end then you'll probably not notice the track changing as they all seem to have the same sort of beat. ...If you're reading this you should be reasonably serious about going diving on Ko Tao and probably know by now that this is one of the best dive areas in the world. Therefore I wont bore you with 30 metre visability, whale sharks, lack of polution, quiet dive sites. What you do need to know is dont sign up with the first tout that meets you coming off the ferry or speed boat. It is a good way to get a free taxi to accomodation but taxis cost less than £1 to anywhere. Dont be sucked in by cheap accomodation deals as every company gives you this. Go to a few bars in the main town - at the pier. Ask backpackers, not locals for recomendations. Choose the ones that sound best and go to their offices. Look for new equipment, ask about safety standards and remember - prices are fixed, all companies charge the same price, so you can afford... Read review

...This is the album which made KoRn so popular and which made alot of so called 'die-hard' fans call KoRn sell-outs which i totally disagree with. The albums before this were the self-titled and life is peachy.This album boasts the highly popular Freak On A Leash and Got The Life. Track Listing:(note:the tracks start from number 13) 13.It's On One of my favourite tracks on the album, This song is about partying and they usually play it as their first song at live shows to get the party stared. A great song 14.Freak On A Leash This is the song which basically sells the album as some people only buy it for this song. The video is awesome which features a bullet destroying everything in its path. It has been nominated for several awards and has even won a couple i think.
