Libya - an A to Z of an Unconventional Land
Advantages: Fascinating Country
Disadvantages: They won't let everyone in
...I like to take holidays in the sort of places that make my American friends nervous. This time we chose to take a one week tour of Libya. We generally prefer DIY trips but I really wouldn't have a clue how to organise a trip around Libya and the sheer simplicity of letting someone else sort out the visas and transportation won out this time. There's not much tourist infrastructure so doing it...

Advantages: Site seeing, natrual unexplored beauty, cheap to live, friendly warm people
Disadvantages: No night life, Internet problems,
...Libya is a wonderful country to visit. So many unexplored sites to see, where the media nor very many tourists have ever gone before. Partly due to the fact they are not promoted very much.
From personal experience, i have been to beaches, that have crstal clear waters, pure white sand, awesome blue sky, and not a soul in sight! Only silience, as there arent even sea gulls. It is really...

THE AL QSAR- A SHEIKH'S PALACE BY THE SEA.
Advantages: Fantastic standard of accommodation, faultless service, great location
