...Creative EP-630 I have recently tried creative EP-630 and it cost a quarter of a similar pair of Bose phones that I'd normally go for. Ordering from their website couldn't be easier and the site is locked for security of payments. The ear pads are rubber and far more comfortable to the ears. The design is by far more ergonomically and causes less stress to the ears. The sound is by far the real selling point however and is a stunning and enhanced listening pleasure. The volume on my MP3 is extraordinarily loud but the quality does not fall away and wobble/ scratchiness are simply not there, even at full volume. The bass tones are very deep and you made need to lighten them up with a little more treble. The sound in general is very crisp. The cord is very long which is a bonus as I run on road and on the treadmill...

EP-630, Good Quality - Cheap Price

Advantages: Cheap and Brilliant Quality Sound
Disadvantages: Common problem with sound going in one of the earphones.

...I bought these Creative EP-630 earphones after I had the Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia earphones for about 2 years and was really impressed by them apart from the rubber on the wire. It felt very flimsy and cheap and if you rolled the cable in your fingers you could feel the wire moving about. When they were about 18 months old the rubber started breaking and exposed bare wire. These earphones were £26 when I bought them and for only 2 years worth I thought this was a bit expensive, so I started looking for good quality cheap ones. While in the process looking for new earphones, people were recommending the Creative EP-630 as a brilliant all rounder with great sound and good quality for a brilliant price. ...The EP- 630 has made quite a name for itseff as well as Creative. For such a low price, i was blown away by this little piece of art. When the earphones that i got with my ipod stopped working, i thought BIG and bought the ridiculously priced BOSE in-ear earphones, and naturally i was impressed. Review of Alcatel 501

d630 business laptop

Advantages: good price, large 14.1 inch screen
Disadvantages: touch pad buttons dodgy, bulky for carrying

...I use this laptop for work and have to say that it is one of the most reasonably priced laptops in it's class. It is a business class laptop with a you can order this online directly from dell and have it configured with a max of 4GB RAM, 160GB Hard disk drive. I have windows 2000 installed on the laptop and I would not recommend it - it can sometimes freeze and the touchpad does not do well when you are using a USB mouse, so frequent reboots are needed. I would give this particular aspect a negative. I've seen on other d630 that XP is much more reliable, so go for that. I would recommend disabling the touchpad and using the touchstick. Also it does not get as hot as some other laptops which is a bonus. The laptop also has select buttons above and below the touchpad. I only use these when I do not have an external mouse...

Alcatel OT-S319- Good value, simple phone

Advantages: Good value, attractive design, robust, battery life
Disadvantages: texting process, perhaps too basic

...When my mobile inexplicably and frustratingly stopped working a few months ago, I decided to purchase the Alcatel OT-S319 as a budget -buy replacement . The Alcatel phone was one of the cheapest on offer, priced at just £15 in my local argos. The handset is a small, compact and modern looking "clam-shell" design and is available in either pink or black. This is a very basic ohone with only the 'essentials' in terms of features. It provides predictive texting, 2 games, 10 ringtones, a 300 capacity address book and good range of embedded images and animations for wallpaper/screen saver displays. Having used the phone for a while I have found to be easy to use, with good battery talktime (I usually only need to charge it twice a week) and excellent reception. Finally, Alcatel does it right on OT535

Advantages: Large color screen, complete MMS including Voice MMS, loud speakerphone
Disadvantages: Not tri-band, can't send ringtones via IR

...If Alcatel decides to put its mind and effort in creating good quality cellphone products, it can deliver the goods. Proof of these are their latest offerings, the OT535 and OT735. Both have the same look and features except that the latter has an integrated camera. Gone are the user-unfriendly days, I assure you. I decided to buy the OT535 as a replacement to my old but reliable Nokia 8210. I chose this model after carefully comparing and actually trying it with other competitor products in its class: Nokia 3100, Samsung C100 and Siemens M55. I'm not saying that these 3 products are inferior to OT535. It's just that I find this Alcatel phone better fit to my needs. Now to my review. Alcatel 501 WAP phone

Advantages: Conctacts synchronisation, big screen, easy navigation, unique looks
Disadvantages: Build quality, unknown brand in UK (especially for higher end phones)

...Now available directly from Alcatel's web site this phone is fantastic value. Not only does it look great and is quite light, it performs like a much more expensive phone. The five-way joystick right below the screen makes navigating around the many options a doddle. The screen is large and high definition and is superb for viewing WAP sites (yes, I am a fan despite all the detractors) as well as composing text messages. The whole thing oozes character and is ideal for anyone looking for something a little bit different without having to pay through the nose. The ringers are a little mad but fun and you can even record your own short voice memos. To get the best out of the phone though you really have to get the optional PC connectivity kit. OK, so it is a serial connection and thus a bit slow, but you only download your Outlook...
