Great tasting booze free mouthwash! Oral B alcohol free mouthwash
Advantages: contains no alcohol, reasonably priced, tastes good
Disadvantages: Not quite icy fresh enough to warrant 5 stars but that will appeal to some
...For around 5 years now I have been a regular user of mouthwash - I use it after brushing my teeth in the morning and night, and even have a mini bottle with me at work so I can use it after lunch.
The beneficial effects I have noticed with regular use, is hardly any tartar or plaque build up on my teeth, fresh breath, the overall look of my teeth appears whiter and brighter too. My dentist is very impressed!!
I love using it because I now no longer feel clean enough after brushing alone, I like that icy fresh, almost stinging sensation that a mouthwash can give.
My favourites were Aquafresh and Listerine (for the iciest sting experience!!) Recently though I have been on the search for a non alcoholic mouthwash because like many, I read a report saying mouthwash containing alcohol was four times more likely to give you mouth...

An alcohol free great white Chardonnay!
Advantages: Nice taste, if you drink in small doses!
Disadvantages: A bit too sweet
...I thought I'd review this Eisberg alcohol free wine as I cant drink real wine at the moment!
When I found out I was expecting and had a party coming up, I went in search of an alcohol free wine, which was hard enough as it was! I came across the Eisberg range of wines in tesco, there was a rose and a white sparkling wine. I have never been a fan of sparkling wine but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I purchased a bottle of each to see which one I preferred. I started with the sparkling white as I fancied a fruity refreshing drink. I didnt like the taste it was far too sweet and just tasted like cheap, fizzy watered down wine. So on to the rose... same thing, sweet, sickly taste and the hated the fizzyness.
I decided not to give up and write off all alcohol free wines because these particular ones were no good. I went back to...

Oral B Alcohol Free Rinse
Advantages: alcohol Free
Disadvantages: A little more costly
...Oral B Alcohol Free Mouth Wash is Fantastic and is my favourite mouth wash, I have tried many different types of alcohol free mouth wash/Rinses but I have to say that Oral B is the best. I am allergic to alcohol so if I use the wrong type of mouth Wash/Rinse then it can make me really sick.
You can buy this mouth wash in most Super-Markets and chemists ranging from around £1.50 - £2.99 for a 500 ml bottle.
The bottle says that it
*Fights Plaque Formation
*Helps Protect against cavities
*Safe and gentle formulation
Ingredients (from Bottle)
Aqua, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Aroma, Methylparaben, Cetylpridinium Chloride, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Benzoate, Propylparaben, CL 42051.
The wash itself is light aqua blue in colour and has a mild Fresh Mint Smell and Flavour, and it pleasant to use and leaves you...

Oral-b Anti-plaque alcohol free mouth wash
Advantages: Alcohol-free , Good for you teeth, Save you visit to the dentist
Disadvantages: could taste better
...I had to visit my dentist several weeks ago to get some work done on my teeth. The dental surgey had a special offer on Oral-B Anti-plaque alcohol free mouth rinse, two 500ml bottles for £2.00, normally it would cost you £2.99 per bottle at Boots. Noticing it was a great offer I purchased two bottles. The mouth wash is in light blue colour and comes in fresh mint flavour. The bottle comes with it's own measuring cap too . which is very useful when you try to prevent dribbles and over pouring. It recommends you use it twice daily, fill the cap to the 15ml line and keep it in your month for up to 30 seconds then spit it out. The problem is you donot want keep it in your mouth for 30 seconds. I found it pretty hard, therefore I added water to the mouth wash. My problem is some of my teeth are currently very sensitve after...

edited I DON'T WANT ALCOHOL IN MY MOUTH WASH
Advantages: Please read my review
Disadvantages: Please read my review
...just in a clear plastic 750 ml bottle this means you can see the turquoise liquid. The cap is made of white plastic and is covered with a hard plastic seal, (this is to stop anyone from putting anything into else into the mouth wash). I have to cut off the seal before I try and take off the cap. I must admit it took me a while to figure out how to open it.
You must press down and turn it to the right at the same time. Once I have opened it I never put the cap on and turn it the other way to close it.
On the bottle there are two white large white and turquoise past-ons, (except where the Mint/Menthe is written..that's in green). On the side that says ORAL-B it tells you that this is Alcohol-Free, (Sans Alcohol) and the it is an anti-cavity rinse that has been Clinically proven to fight cavities.
Both sides have French and English...

Great new product - alcohol-free, innovative formula and mild taste. And hey, the bottle is actually practical!
Advantages: Alcohol-free (and so very safe). Extremely effective formula. Unusual fresh taste. Practical bottle stops you spilling.
Disadvantages: None.
...You know how most bottles of mouthwash have those little plastic cups on top? You're supposed to fill them with a certain amount of the product and knock it back. But they usually get ditched after one or two uses because, inevitably, they're very messy, and you end up spilling mouthwash all over the place.
At long last, someone has come up with a solution. Oral B have come up with a moutwash in an ordinary-shaped bottle with a cap that is much wider at the top and makes it much less messy and almost impossible to spill (I haven't managed yet!) In fact, Oral B's new mouthwash is innovative in various ways.
Its one of a small number of alcohol-free mouthwashes that dentists are recommending. There's concern over the harsh effects the high amounts of alcohol in most mainstream mouthwashes cost. Instead, Oral B's new product contains...

Not a night-time worker...
Advantages: Fresh minty flavour, keeps mouth fresh and clean.
Disadvantages: Doesn't really last well through the night - there is an apparent difference in the mornings...
...I am always on the lookout for good alcohol-free mouthwashes. There appears to be very few decent ones on the market and with the ones that are available, they are often nearly twice the price of their original alcohol versions.
I picked this Oral B one off the shelves from Tesco's the other day, not many places seem to do these (not in Boots or Superdrug, anyway) but at least Tesco's seem to have a good supply of them.
Special features?
******************
This is a gentle formula mouthwash designed for people who have sensitive gums and teeth. It is alcohol-free and contains cetylpyridinium chloride, a clinically proven ingredient that helps to reduce plaque formation. It claims to continue working even after brushing to reduce plaque formation by up to 30%. The formula is also a source of fluoride, which helps to reduce...

LIVING WITH AN ALCOHOLIC
Advantages: You can come out of this a stronger person
Disadvantages: Some scars never heal
...I have thought long and hard about posting this review and I do hope that it does not make anybody uncomfortable, my intention is to show that there is life after living with an alcoholic, albeit incomplete.
I am able to clearly recall memories as far back as just before my 1st birthday, no doubt because they were quite traumatic and I was 12 before I realised that the way my father behaved was not right. I was very frightened of men and if I am being honest, still feel a certain amount of anxiety around men, although I realise that these are my feelings and nothing to do with the behaviour of men, most of whom are lovely, I'm sure.
I do not want to linger over the abuse that I suffered at the hands of my father, but I wlil say that whilst I have learned strategies to cope with the aftershock, I can never see a full recovery...

Alcohol Truffles
Advantages: Cannot be eaten all at once, I think this is good
Disadvantages: Nothing, it's chocolate
...Alcohol Truffles Selection
From
Thorntons
As I mentioned in my review of thorntons.co.uk, there's a Thorntons store near where I live and I visit it frequently when I want to buy an item or two and not a big present. Last time I bought Alcohol Truffles Selection which includes three kinds: champagne, whisky, and rum. The box is small and beige in colour, and it contains two small bags; eight truffles in each of them, and they are 200g all in all. The expiry date and ingredients can be found on the bottom of the box. It costs £6.25.
The chocolates are round in shape, of course, and not wrapped individually. The chocolate filling with alcohol is creamy and soft, and the outer chocolate shell that envelopes it is somewhat thick and this makes it a bit hard, but not too much; nothing to worry about. The whisky truffle can be...

Ahm nae crabbit with Crabbie's Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer*
Advantages: nice taste, refreshinmg
Disadvantages: not widely available
...I'm an old fashioned girl at heart and love the old fashioned drinks such as saspherlila, Dandelion and Burdock and cloudy lemonade. Most of all like the Famous Five I love ginger beer. I love strong flavours and there is nothing better on a hot day than the fiery hit of a decent ginger beer. To awaken and tantalise my taste buds. I tend to drink Old Jamaicabut was very excited when I came across Crabbie's original alcoholic ginger beer next to the real ales and ciders in Waitrose recentl
Crabbie's are a Scottish company that are known for their green ginger wine but have now branched out intro grown up ginger beer that has enough alcohol in it at 4% to make Timmy and maybe aunt fanny a little tipsy. It is described on the bottle as being made from a unique recipe of fruit, spices and real ginger (thank god. I'm not sure what fake...
