Advantages: Good value and flexible mixer, works well with PC. Cubase is a nice bonus.
Disadvantages: Knobs not sliders, no MP3 encoder with Cubase but these are minor details

...this is only in case you want to connect a second PC. KNOBS & DIALS There are 4 shared inputs for either XLR(3 pin mic) or line(guitar style jack), each with it's own adjustable pre-amp and 75Hz high pass filter. There's also a phantom power switch at the back of the unit if you use studio condenser microphones that require +48V. The other 4 connections are two stereo line ins. Technically this only gives you 6 separate inputs (hence there are only 6 lines of knobs on the Alesis multimix 8) when it's a so called 8 track mixer but that's the way it goes I'm afraid. I know, I always found it confusing when my friend would tell me his 8 track could only record 4 simultaneous tracks and it's a throwback to the old tape multi-track systems. Jean Alesi A god in yellow overalls

Advantages: Style, temperament and a well needed character for the sport
Disadvantages: needs more testing when it becomes avaliable to gain knowledge of the car

Advantages: V. easy to clean, use
Disadvantages: Dough hooks produce heavy dough

...This Multimix not only is a blender but it is a hand mixer, kneader, and a chopper. With the M 800 models you get a hand mixer base, this is what makes the attachments work. This base has a non-skid bottom, this prevents slipping and has a fairly long cord. It also has three speeds plus a power pulse. The attachments are a hand blender with a beaker. two dough hooks (but these are pretty naff as they produce heavy dough), two beaters, the chopper attachment has a cover, blade insert, chopper bowl with anti-skid base. The mixer performs the duties of a blender and hand mixer admirably. When purchasing a hand mixer I look for power and durability. This mixer has both. Heart of a Sicilian

Advantages: Great Skill and Heart.
Disadvantages: went to the Wrong teams at the wrong times

...The man who never recieved the rewards that he deserved. This man gave it his all and yet failed to pick up a championship. Whats even more unbelieveable is that he only won a single Grand Prix in his 11 year quest for the crown. Despite this Jean Alesi is still rated as one of the top 50 drivers ever to have competed in the top ranks of Motorsport, i.e Formula One. In my eyes though he stands in the top five as one of the Greats. Meeting Jean Alesi I have been a fan of Jean Alesi for years and I have been to a few British Grand Prix. Racing with his heart sets the heart racing

Advantages: Not an automaton, great car control, rain ability
Disadvantages: Tends to make the wrong choices for his career

Rain master

Advantages: Experienced driver
Disadvantages: Too experienced?

...Jean Alesi is currently the most experienced driver that is still racing in Formula One. He is known to be a very good driver in the rain, but recently Prost hasn't really anabled Alesi to put in any good drives. He seems like a nice fellow, and I quite liked the Ferrari dou for severl years, which included GEhard Berger and Jean Alesi. A very experienced driver, but is he coming to the end of his racing career? I think he still has some time left, hopefully more competitive than right now. It would be nice to see Alesi right back up at the front. If I'm correct, he's only won one race in his entire career, which was in canada. He should have won more, but still very good, and when he has a competitive car, he is regularly finding himself on the podium....

Handy but dull

Advantages: cheap, easy to use
Disadvantages: no effects limited sound editing, dull sounds

...The Alesis SR-16 holds the title of the best selling drum machine of all time and some would say with good reason. The sound quality that this machine can produce is excellent but the drawback is that the 230 odd sounds contained within the unit are uniformly dull and uninspiring. If you need a workhorse set of drum sounds for backing tracks etc then the SR16 will do the job in style but i would not recommend it to anyone who has any kind of imagination in their music. The operating system is fairly straightforward but some of the pattern editing is fairly cryptic if you don't have a manual, apart from that it's pretty easy to figure out whats going on. The SR16 can has 150 somewhat dodgy preset patterns but you can create another 150 of your own to string together in the 100 available songs. Outputs consist of a stereo pair and an pair...

Back to the top with Jordan

Advantages: Very skilled
Disadvantages: Getting old

...He had a dubut as brilliant as Michael Schmachers and he has only managed to win one race in his career. He is now in the twilight of his career and is as good as ever. His only problem with formula one is picking the wrong team at the wrong time, but his move to Jordan will show us the fast Jean Alesi. The oppertunity came when Jordan driver Frentzen was sacked for going too slow and I'm sorry I agree. His speed wasn't the same as 1999 when he was outstanding, but now it looks like he's pulling a caravan. The move to Jordan will definately suit him and his driving skills, I think he will outspeed Jarno Truilli. He was having a better year with Prost but still not a good one and when the opertunity to drive for a better car came he wanted it more than anybody else at the back of the grid. ...Well the Alesis photon X25, is your standard 25 key midi interface, with a few more adjustable settings than most. Looks: With its sleek design, Led lights, an the AXYZ dome. This thing can be beautriful, but mainly by your own opinion. Im sure many would say it is quite some what ugly with the Organge LED's. But as with most things, these LED's are in actualy fact functional. Ease of Installation: After plugging in, all you have to do is dunk the CD into your drive, and follow the instuctions. If you wish to install Cubase LE, an included product with this, then your installation will be a little more complicated, but not a lot.
