Alex Rider - Stormbreaker on DS - poor fighting game

Advantages: Extra unlockable content, snooker sub-game
Disadvantages: A very poor game, poor value and poor execution

...This review is for the game Alex Rider - Stormbreaker for the Nintendo DS, developed by Altron and published by THQ. The game is an arcade type game with lots of different kinds of game play, from driving to snooker and from fighting to exploring. Primarily though the aim is to fight your way through the levels with numerous sub games. In terms of difficulty, the game is too easy, and I say that as someone who doesn?t necessarily find games simple to complete. There is a lack of challenge generally in the game and very little in the game to make a player return. The fighting element of the game, which is most of it, is quite pointless, with your character able to easily beat even groups of opponents. There are some highlights in the game, including the mini game, the snooker game, which is quite fun and entertaining. But people...

Alex Rider : Storm Breaker GBA version

Unlike the book which was a major best seller the movie was good, but the games not that interesting. The games layout is only to do simple tasks such as walk around, flip buttons, jump here and jump there, only around this, somehow have they put up the story. This game can be played by children, who might be the only ones who would actually adore it, as it has their hero 'Alex Rider' in it. Lovely Smelling Alex

Advantages: Long lasting, girly smell

...Alex Curran is wife of footballer Steven Gerrard and Alex is her debut fragrance which she created in collaboration with OK! Magazine (which is a great magazine that I've written a review about!). The perfume includes bergamot, lemon, rose, jasmine, creamy vanilla, tonka bean and powdered musk. It's a very girly perfume and surprising lasts a long time. It's not a sweet perfume as such but very musky and you can definitely smell the vanilla. It settles quickly but the smell it settles at stays until you change, so in that aspect it's a great perfume with staying power. The only thing is with buying the Eau de Toilette you do have to spray more than normal to get the scent to last. The bottle is quite plain, it's just a basic shape, clear and her name is on it. However, the bottle design doesn't compromise how good this perfume...

However it was received very well and went on to go platinum in a month, outselling her 2002 predecessor David Sneddon?s 9 month old album in just seven days. ...This brilliant first album by Alex Parks has all the great covers that we heard her sing in Fame Academy and also seven other original tracks of her own. These seven new tracks really show you that the girl has some talent in song writing and her voice throughout the album is easy to listen to. Although the album isn't all of her own work and some of the songs are covers, this just portrays the fact that shes a really good artist and can make the songs her own. Her covers of 'Yellow' and 'Beautiful' are two of my favourate on the album. You could say it was daring of Alex to do a cover of 'Here comes the rain again', by such a brilliant artist as Annie Lennox, however Alex pulls it off easily and fills the song with emotion. Advantages: Easy enough to follow plot-wise, interesting characters, gripping at times,
Disadvantages: The story could be second guessed by some if you think it through enough,a few too many characters

...or for £3.45 on Play.com or used for £2.80 on Amazon UK, or for £1.95 on Play.com etc. - Thoughts & Opinions - I found that this was an easy novel to read, there wasn't too much complicated criminal or scientific jargon and although I hadn't read any of this authors previous novels (as the main character, Maggie O'Dell, features in Alex's other novels), the novel explained everything well so that I didn't feel too confused having no prior knowledge of the different characters that feature in it. The chapters in the novel are particularly short, alot of chapters are ten pages or less in length, which is quite good if your wanting to read it in small bursts/sessions. The start of each chapter tells you the location and sometimes the date that the chapter is set in, so as to set the scene, which reminded me a bit of in the TV show Law and Order...
