Disadvantages: Tyres are too chunky for road riding, if thats what your into.

...This bike is ideal for anybody looking to do any sort of offroading. It is well equipped with tektro auriga hydraulic disk brakes which are silky smooth and have plenty of braking power. The great thing about the GT is that it has a lock-out on the forks which makes riding on roads a bit easier. I find this useful as i commute on it. I chose a mountain bike because i prefered the riding position and the fact i can take it off-road if i so choose. The tyres that come on the bike are chunky enough for off roading but for road riding they have a fair bit of rolling resistance, i swapped mine over for a set of semi-slicks for road riding. This bike is well worth buying and i would reccomend it to anybody....

GT Aggressor XC2

Advantages: Light, nice ride, good brakes

...I brought this as my last bike, a saracen, died on me, it was really in a terrible mess! I brought this for £400 in Halfords, which is a pretty good deal for what you get. The technician was very helpful in there, otherwise I probably would have brought a bike from a Local Bike Store. So, what do you get for your £400 here? Well, a light and strong bike, with hyrdaulics, 24 gears, thick tyres, nice wheels with strong spokes. You're not a petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa.

Advantages: Fantastic driving experience, high quality finish, that growl
Disadvantages: Bad image regards reliability, some niggles

..., and puts a huge smile on my face on a grey November day heading to a boring marketing meeting. Would I buy an Alfa again knowing what I know now? Come and ask me in 3 months, I'm currently hunting for a shiny new GT, any other make just feels like stepping in the wrong direction....

PITY IT WASN'T ALFA RACING RED!

...starts to claw back some ground. I have driven many cars now with the same 1.9 litre diesel engine, including the Alfa GT coupe last year. Its potential was shown undoubtedly in that car and, having recently driven two Saab 9-3's and an Astra with this engine, I am able to confirm that the Alfa installation of this power plant is the most successful overall. In fact here in the 147 I would go as far as to say that this is a great engine! Alfa have tuned the engine in order for it to behave - and importantly SOUND like an Alfa petrol engine. I suspect that this has largely been done by tweaking the exhaust, but however they have done it, the Alfa engineers have succeeded. Even at walking pace you are not aware of this being a diesel powered car. Initially reacting with "an Alfa, with a diesel engine, NEVER!" even diehard Alfaholics...

I am the Alfa male. (My 100th review on Ciao)!!

Advantages: Simply an awesome car and driving experience.
Disadvantages: The running costs will put some people off owning one.

...Oz Superturismo GT After having Oz Superturismo WRC's the white version of these wheels decided it was time for a change, and decided to find a cheap set of the GT's to spray black to go with the cars current modifying theme of black and red, so searched the internet for some a cheapish set to spray black, eventually found some on a Saxo owners club for under £100 complete with tyres, bargain!! Went all the way to Portsmouth to pick these up and brought them home and put them on the car to make sure they fit etc before spraying them black. ...You are looking at a review on the Black & Decker GT 370 hedge trimmer. I am sure the letters GT mean absolutely nothing at all, however I can recommend this particular model. It is the bigger brother to my last one, the GT350. There was a lot of wear and tear on my old model, and it had served me well, so decided to get it replaced before it gave up the ghost. I did a review on that one too, but this one is bigger, as well as heavier, but of course that bit better. One possible design fault is the pressure operated handle switch, I keep hearing of people having no end of trouble, now perhaps I am just lucky but I have not yet had a problem - touch wood. The weight at four Kilos is enough, although not a problem for me, it would be for someone with a massive hedge, or dare I say, a woman, not being sexist, just practical...
