...Dark circles are my biggest complexion problem - no matter what I do, whether it's more sleep, more water, eye creams, they don't seem to budge. Having tried numerous eye creams in the past, I'd not been convinced that they really did anything to help shift the circles, but when I began to suffer from tiny patches of dry skin under my eye last month, I knew it was time to invest in an eye cream pretty sharpish! It Really is All about the Eyes

Advantages: lasts a very long time, diminishes wrinkles and fine lines, reduces dark circles, makes tired eyes feel good, and on and on and on
Disadvantages: bit pricey for all in one go

...I am quite pale and my eyes are a bit light sensitive, so in addition to getting VERY fine over 30 lines about the eye, I battle dark circles and that nasty tired eyes feeling from sun strain. I have tried using various concealers for the dark circles. Imagine my delight when a friend recommended this cream to me and I tried a sample. It not only felt cool and velvety as it glided on, refreshing my tired eyes, but minutes later, it had reduced the dark circles and after about a week I noticed I did not see any teeny tiny lines about my eyes either. Woohoo! Now I only have to use my regular foundation and I do not look like I have been punched in the eyes. :) After using up the sample tube, which lasted weeks as you only need a tiny drop, I went and purchased a pot of this. It costs about £20, and looks like a very small pot for £20...

...Clinique say that this eye cream will 'Diminish the look of undereye circles, shadows, puffs and fine lines - immediately and over time.' I agree - this product is excellent. I use it twice daily after cleansing, toning and moisturizing and before applying my make up and I always notice the difference when I haven't used it. Without it my skin feels far tighter and dryer. After it has been applied my eyelids feel instantly soothed and nourished, just like Clinique say they will. Unfortunately I am currently confined to a test 5ml sample pot of it so Im rationing it and saving the pennies for a proper pot of it of my own! 15ml cost around £17-£19 and a 30ml costs £30 approx. It is very expensive but I think this is a cetegory where more expensive gets better quality and results. Treat yourself or ask for this for birthdays or christmases. ...I was on a business trip to Geneva earlier this year and was wandering about the airport before flying home, well wandering round the whole two shops they have, and decided to treat myself to something from the duty free. I walked past the alcohol and I already had my cigerettes and came accross the Clinique stand. So many people have raved about Clinique products so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try one out. I spent a long time perusing the shelves and suddenly a small little pot caught my eye. It stood out as, unlike most of the clinique products, it doesn't have a green lid and looked different so I bought it. The Pot It comes in a 15ml pot about the size of a pot of lip balm or maybe slightly bigger. The pot has a pinkish tint to it and has a silver lid. Idealist for the Eyes

Advantages: Makes eyes feel really soft and nice
Disadvantages: didn't seem to make much difference with puffiness

...I bought this eye cream (£20) because I'd heard so much about it from a friend and needed something to depuff my eyes after endless nights of revision for exams! The packaging is really cute;-pink see-thru tub with a nice silver screw-on lid. It's the same design as the Anti-Gravity eye cream (see my op) and they're both great for carting off on holiday with you. As I said the Anti-Gravity eye cream was suitable for night-time, this is the day-time version. It's light-weight gel/cream formula. When I first tried this I noticed that it immediately sunk into my skin and left a really velvety effect, making my tired eye area feel lovely! It's basically a version of the Estee Lauder Idealist for your eyes (which I'm obsessed with!). I can't actually emphasise the softness this leaves on your skin! It makes a great day eye cream...

...I am obsessed with everything that is clinique, well most of their range and because of this I love clinique bonus time. It was in a wonderful pink box full of freebies at bonus time that I discovered 'all about eyes'. I didn't really read about what it was supposed to do before trying it, so the first thing I noticed was the texture of it when applied. It is a lightweight pinky white cream that I can honesly say leaves the skin feeling 'velvety' and soft, not greasy at all. I'm only 22 so wasn't sure that I was really going to benefit from an eye cream, however I do suffer from dark circles around my eyes and this really did the trick of reducing those - I was delighted! I managed to obtain two of the sample tubes and those lasted me an age as you only need the smallest amount for each eye. When I ventured back to the clinique...

SUPER MOISTURISING EYE CREAM !!

Advantages: Lightweight, absorbs easily, smells nice, refreshing
Disadvantages: Bit pricey, shame it's in a pot rather than a tube

...I have used a lot of Clinique products over the years but this is my favourite by far and one of the few I still use. Launched a few years ago, it reduces puffiness and minimises dark circles and fine lines. It is very lightweight, a creamy gel that is easy to apply and is absorbed instantly. It also helps to hold eye makeup in place. I find it very refreshing which is great in the morning and can notice a visible improvement in the eye area after application. It costs £20 for 15ml and is widely available at all clinique counters. The price is a bit steep but it is worth it and it has an excellent consistency so a little goes a long way!! The pot it comes in is attractive but I wish it came in a tube or pump as it gets annoying trying to scoop the last bits out of the pot!...
