Clinique are All About Eyes

Advantages: Tones skin, nice silky texture, diminishes dark circles
Disadvantages: Doesn't rid me completely of the dark circles, no SPF

...Dark circles are my biggest complexion problem - no matter what I do, whether it's more sleep, more water, eye creams, they don't seem to budge. Having tried numerous eye creams in the past, I'd not been convinced that they really did anything to help shift the circles, but when I began to suffer from tiny patches of dry skin under my eye last month, I knew it was time to invest in an eye cream pretty sharpish! Having read numerous positive reviews of Clinique's All About Eyes on Dooyoo, it seemed to be the best choice as it promised to rid me of the dark circles as well as moisturising. All About Eyes is packaged in a small 15ml orangey pink pot with silver screw top lid. Like all Clinique packaging, it's simple but classy and looks great. It has a plastic cover underneath the lid to prevent the cream from falling into the lid if you...

All about me

Advantages: For me a lot
Disadvantages: You might get bored

...interests me that much. °°° 13. Been to Camden? °°° No, not been here either. °°° 14. Loved somebody so much it made you cry? °°° Not for that, only when I found out about all the lies that were made up about me. If you can?t know anybody after a year then what?s the point ? °°° 15. Been in a car accident? °°° Yes, when I was very young about 4 years old. A Jaguar smashed into my Dad?s side of his car. It was very lucky that none of us were killed. °°° 16. Croutons or Bacon bits? °°° Bacon bits, very nice. °°° 17. Sprite or 7-UP? °°° Not too keen on either of them, but if I had to choose then Sprite as it has that better flavour. °°° 18. Favourite Movie? °°° I have a few, Pulp Fiction, Get Carter (1971), Scum, Star Wars, The Butterfly Effect, Changing Lanes, could go on?.. °°° 19. Favourite Holiday? °°° I...

You choose an igloo, an Indian tipi, an African box, the same house as your parents, a farm - A farm cause I love pigs or maybe the same house as my parents as long as they weren?t in it! 94) How much do you weigh - About 7 or 8 stone 95) How much would you like to lose - Don?t think I need to lose any but it?s my job to help people lose weight. 96) The best teacher you had - My history teacher, me & my mates all used to fancy him & he was really sweet. 97) The worst teacher did you have...

All About Me

Advantages: Might be interesting
Disadvantages: Might not be interesting

...I thought that I would have a change from the amount of film reviews I?ve been doing lately, and after rating someone else?s reviews and spotting the all about me review, I thought I would give it a go, as I have never posted anything on ciao café about myself. 01. What time is it? 4.56pm 02. Name Elizabeth, though most of my friends call me Lizzie and even some teachers. 03. How many candles were on your last birthday cake? Not too sure if I should say this online, but my next birthday cake will be in less than a month! 04. Hair colour: It tends to change a lot, normally with the seasons. I used to have really dark hair, but lately its been more of a deep blonde with a few natural ginger streaks when the light hits it. 05. Tattoos: Not at the moment, I?m too scared of the pain but I wouldn?t mind some. However...

All About Me!!!

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: None

...sometimes so I suppose if I had to choose between the two then Sprite. °°° 18. Favourite Movie? °°° Hmmm, I don't watch many films but I suppose my all time favourite movie must be either Terminator 2 or Austin Powers: The spy who shagged me. I like both films equally, totally different genres but there you go, I'm a mixed up kind of guy :o) °°° 19. Favourite Holiday? °°° I don't really enjoy holidays I'm an at home kind of guy, but I guess my trip to Disneyland Paris about 5 years ago was very memorable. °°° 20. Favourite Toothpaste? °°° Colgate with added Calcium. Always seems to do the trick, either that or Sensodyne gentle whitening. °°° 21. Favourite restaurant? °°° Dear me, dear oh dear oh me. I eat out so often that this is a hard one to call! I'll give you a few: Typhoon - New Barnet Rainforest Cafe...

Review of All About Me

Clinique! All about eyes!

Advantages: Easily absorbed. Noticeable reduction in dark circles.
Disadvantages: A bit pricey.

...I have been using Clinique's All About Eyes for the past month now and I find it amazing! Unfortunately I am currently confined to a test 5ml sample pot of it so Im rationing it and saving the pennies for a proper pot of it of my own! 15ml cost around £17-£19 and a 30ml costs £30 approx. It is very expensive but I think this is a cetegory where more expensive gets better quality and results. Treat yourself or ask for this for birthdays or christmases. My gran has been asking for Clinique make-up and lotions for as many christmases and birthdays of hers that I can remember. She's always believed that is an area where you're alowed to spend. Shes 80 now and still has beautiful skin!! It is a very silky, jelly sensationing lotion of a peach colour. It is clear and absorbed when applyed so no colour or visible signs of having it on...

Review of Clinique All About Eyes

All about me. One Day there will be no more 'One Days'

Advantages: All about me.
Disadvantages: Probably of no interest to readers!!

...yet another change as I was refused a pay rise in my then current job, so in a fit of pique, applied to the Home Office to become an immigration officer. To my absolute amazement, I passed all the entry exams and even though I didn't have a degree, was taken on as an Immigration Officer. The work was unlike anything I'd ever done before and I loved it. I was employed in the enforcement section, not stamping passports(!). I was lucky enough to be selected to train as a post incident counsellor, which has led to freelance counselling work. I was earning good money which enabled my partner and I to buy a narrowboat, something we'd always wanted. In late 2005, my lovely Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. He was very matter of fact about it and declared that he wasn't afraid of dying as he'd had a good life. He underwent a course...

So here it is - just a little (well 40 questions and answers to be exact) about me. Hope you're all awake at the end, cos I'll be testing..... he he he..... 01. What time is it? : 4.30pm 02. Name: I'm known as Kez to all my friends. 03. Number of Candles that appeared on your last birthday cake: 28 04. Hair Colour: My hair colour has changed a bit over the last few years. I've been a shimmery mahogany colour, had blond highlights, been light brown (I must add at this point, these were at seperate times, not all together!!) and now I'm back to my natural colour once more - Brunette. 05. Tattoos: I have one tattoo on my hip. It is a heart with a blue rose running through it and the Celtc...

Review of All About Me

It Really is All about the Eyes

Advantages: lasts a very long time, diminishes wrinkles and fine lines, reduces dark circles, makes tired eyes feel good, and on and on and on
Disadvantages: bit pricey for all in one go

...I am quite pale and my eyes are a bit light sensitive, so in addition to getting VERY fine over 30 lines about the eye, I battle dark circles and that nasty tired eyes feeling from sun strain. I have tried using various concealers for the dark circles. Imagine my delight when a friend recommended this cream to me and I tried a sample. It not only felt cool and velvety as it glided on, refreshing my tired eyes, but minutes later, it had reduced the dark circles and after about a week I noticed I did not see any teeny tiny lines about my eyes either. Woohoo! Now I only have to use my regular foundation and I do not look like I have been punched in the eyes. :) After using up the sample tube, which lasted weeks as you only need a tiny drop, I went and purchased a pot of this. It costs about £20, and looks like a very small pot for £20...

Not all about me but a bit

Advantages: you know more about me
Disadvantages: do you really want to know?

...? 2 children and a full time job that involves travel I have not time to be bored. 35. Most annoying thing people ask me? ~ Why? Kids as they are naturally inquisitive and work colleagues who want to know why they can?t do something on our systems. 36. Bedtime? ~ 10 or 11 otherwise I end up asleep on the sofa or in a chair 37. Favourite TV Show? ~ NCIS, has to be the best series on TV 38. Last person you went out to dinner with? ~ My best friend as hubby is a chef and is very particular where he eats and can be an embarrassment when he wants to check out the kitchen area 1st and then criticises the service all night. I am less fussy as long as the food tastes good and the service is what you expect then hey it?s a success. 39. Last movie you saw? ~ Spiderman 3 last night, I can recommend...
