Disadvantages: some people don't like Meg Cabot I AM SHOCKED!

..., and books help me to think that way. A holiday will never help me see it the way books do, because you never get to experience what their school or work place is like and you have the most enjoyment on holiday, when it's totally different if you lived there! I don't really know what else to say, I can say that I understood why this book is called All-American Girl; however it's never quite simple to work out why a book is titled. Although, many people wouldn't have noticed the reason why as it is only mentioned once and if you are totally endeavoured into the book, which most people are as it's a Meg Cabot book, you can easily miss it. But it does mention that Sam is an American, which I think is at the time the title popped into Meg Cabot's head! An All-American Robin Hood?

Advantages: Diverting enough way to spend 90 minutes. Good action sequences.
Disadvantages: No plot worth speaking about!

...of early American history, but even to my non-expert eye, it's fairly obvious that the Director and Producer of this movie have made no concession to historical accuracy. Instead they've simply invented a plot to suit their own purposes. Namely to provide a vehicle to fully exploit the many all-action stunts that proliferate the movie. In truth, the stunts are superb, with dynamite being liberally used throughout to provide the requisite "crash, bang, and wallop". But to try to pass Jesse James off as some sort of all-American Robin Hood is stretching credibility just a little! ~ ~ Colin Farrell plays his part of the young Jesse James with style and aplomb, and it is easily seen why he is an actor in such demand, because even in a movie with such a weak script as this, his acting ability shines through. Definitely an American accent!

Advantages: Great to sing along to and very catchy
Disadvantages: All the songs blend in together and sound the same

...1st of all, I have to point out what catches when you first hear it - the American accent. It is extremely strong much like Blink 182. I love it myself, but some don't. All the songs focus on love and usually a broken heart. The songs do sound kid of the same, but I do think they're all great, so don't let it put you off. The album cover isn't anything to write home about - just an old bike thing. There are 11 songs on the album. American Gangster

Advantages: A good storyline and great acting!
Disadvantages: Erm none...!

...Not my normal kind of film, I wasn't too impressed when my husband put it on, and made me sit down and watch it with him, but seeing as I had just made him watch PS I love you, it was only fair...and I must say although I was aprehensive, I was impressed with this film, and found that I actually liked it. The film is about drugs basically, and as you would guess from the name, gangsters! The film follows the life of drug dealer Frank Lewis in Harlem USA, Lewis has found the best of best heroin, pure from Vietnam, as this film is set during the Vietman war, he enrols his cousin who is in the army to bring over 200,000kilos of the "Blue Magic" as he names it, in doses for him to sell all over the US for cheaper than the normal price. This is good for the drug addicts...not good for the competition. And Lewis manages to make alot...

McClean was/is primarily a folk singer and this album, by all accounts was a 'one off', he certainly has little fame apart from this album. Advantages: Very good hold, feels nice.
Disadvantages: Price, price, and price.

...OK, i admit I am far too stingey to actually buy this stuff, and yes, I admit I have never even heard of it, but when my hairdresser offered me a jar, free gratis, I am not one to look a gift horse in any part of it's anatomy. American Crew is a Company that was not formed until 1994, they sell shampoos, shower gels, shaving accessories, and of course hair gel, or as they call it, wax. I am never sure what the difference is really both seem to do the same job, perhaps wax is stiffer, or dries harder. AllI know is that this is very good, bearing in mind that it did not actually cost me a Penny. It is advertised as a Pliable styling wax, giving medium hold, and medium shine. Lots of the styling gels I had previously used tended to make the hair rock hard and matt it together.
