GT Aggressor XC2. What a Bike for the Money

Advantages: Strong Frame and Wheels, Tyres do not let go
Disadvantages: None really!!

...Bought this bike with my work cycle to work scheme. A great buy from Halfords. Excellent speck for the price and a very strong bike. I'm 18st 10 (253 ibs) and in my opinion this bike can handle this weight easily. Great colour Black with like a Pearlesent White, Very good speck components, Shimano Deore derauillers and Sram Truvatic Crank. Hydrolic Brakes and Discs. These will stop you instantly and do tare a little time to get used to or a flight over the bars could come along. These sqeak when covered in Muck and Water for the first few occasions, but when used this disapates. Wheels are Alex DP17 rims, Strong, Maxxis Ingnitor Tyres Grip like hell. Suntour XCR forks are ok for Cross Country riding, Not a great Jump fork, but hey Im no Jumper! (I think that if yoiu are lighter than me you could have some safe landings with these...

Review of GT Aggressor XC2 Mountain Bike

On Yer Bike!

Advantages: Great fun, slow, Harry loves it
Disadvantages: Noisy, siren is a pain

...and says they are safe and fun for children but I was still very nervous about letting my tiny boy ride it last year. When my parents bought it into my sitting room, Harry's face was a picture. He was totally petrified of it, even more so when my dad pushed the pedal down causing the wheels to turn quickly and make a loud motorised sound! He wouldn't go near it, let alone sit on it so I was wondering how I was going to get rid of it without anyone knowing! Still, it sat in my front room for a couple of months, unloved and unused until in a fit of bravery, Harry ventured ever closer. The bravery obviously got the better of him because everyday he got closer and tried more things, and now, only a whole year on, he is a fully fledged Hells Angel. That's right, all he needs is the leathers and he's set. The bike itself is quite sturdy...

A wheelie good toddler bike

Advantages: Small cheap, good quality
Disadvantages: no brakes

...than adequate, and when correctly fitted are extremely stable, allowing the transition from tricycle to bicycle to be easier on the child. The bike is equally as sturdy without stabilisers, unlike some others that state that the bicycle must be not be used with stabilisers removed. One important thing to note is that this cycle has NO brakes. Where I live is quite flat and our front garden is paved and fenced, which is the only place that my daughter rides it on (and all around the house of course) My daughter is just the right size for the lowest seat and handlebar position and rides the bike quite easily. It is very important to be aware of the dangers of head injuries acquired whilst riding cycles and personally I feel that adequate protection should be foremost in your mind when considering purchasing a ride on toy...

dutch bike hire in London: a real rip-off

...Last weekend, me and my friends decided to go for a tour of Regent Canal by bicycle, and therefore we looked for a bike hire service in London. Between all the websites we found this one, an appealing website with photographs of fantastic dutch classical bikes for hire in London. The website shows photographs of really nice and stylish bikes which are for rent at a decent price, 25 pounds per day per bike if you hire them for 1-3 days. Even though there were cheaper options we decided to treat ourselves for one day and choose one of these appealing bicycles, just to make it a really unique experience for one day! If only we knew! The delivery process is quite straightforward, you choose a bicycle and they deliver it to you wherever you are in London with a little van. And here we had the first surprise: they delivered to us 3 bikes...

Clinique are All About Eyes

Advantages: Tones skin, nice silky texture, diminishes dark circles
Disadvantages: Doesn't rid me completely of the dark circles, no SPF

...Dark circles are my biggest complexion problem - no matter what I do, whether it's more sleep, more water, eye creams, they don't seem to budge. Having tried numerous eye creams in the past, I'd not been convinced that they really did anything to help shift the circles, but when I began to suffer from tiny patches of dry skin under my eye last month, I knew it was time to invest in an eye cream pretty sharpish! Wheely good bike! (Giant Defy 2.5 Road Bike)

Advantages: Light, Great gears, Good looks
Disadvantages: Uncomfortable saddle, not the greatest wheels

...I have long harboured a desire to own a half decent roadbike. Fortunately my employers opted into the "Cycle to Work scheme" And I purchased a Defy 2.5. Looks This bioke looks good in a largely black and white frame with grey details. The bike itself is set at fairly agressive angles with a nice low handlebar. Frame The frame is extremely light aluminium (10kg total weight) and put together with very neat and efficient welds. The geometry feels right on the bike, although if you are new to raod bikes you may find the handlebar set a little low. My first ciouple of journeys resulted in sore back and stiff neck, however you soon adjust. Review of Giant Defy 2.5 Road Bike

A decent in-front-of-the-telly magnetic exercise bike

Advantages: Low cost magnetic resistance bike, pretty sturdy for the price
Disadvantages: Seating position not necessarily the most comfortably, not great for shorter people!

Ride comfort is where my only real niggle for this product comes in. Due to the rather innovative folding design, the pedals and seat are not as vertically aligned as they are in more static exercise bike designs, and the seat appears to be tilted backwards a little, rather than being parallel with the floor. This means you're forced into leaning back a little whilst cycling. This wouldn't be a problem, but the handlebars are quite far away, which means you have to lean forwards whilst the pedal and seat positions encourage you to lean backwards. Basic bike- don't fall for the frilly edges

My initial advice regarding this product is this: If you see it at a clearance warehouse retailing at around £20, and you really want an exercise bike and don't have the free cash to get anything more flash: get it. If, however, you see this bike retailing at it's RRP (that's somewhere around the £80 mark), then walk on by, because it's really not worth it. Clinique! All about eyes!

Advantages: Easily absorbed. Noticeable reduction in dark circles.
Disadvantages: A bit pricey.

...I have been using Clinique's All About Eyes for the past month now and I find it amazing! Unfortunately I am currently confined to a test 5ml sample pot of it so Im rationing it and saving the pennies for a proper pot of it of my own! 15ml cost around £17-£19 and a 30ml costs £30 approx. It is very expensive but I think this is a cetegory where more expensive gets better quality and results. Treat yourself or ask for this for birthdays or christmases. My gran has been asking for Clinique make-up and lotions for as many christmases and birthdays of hers that I can remember. She's always believed that is an area where you're alowed to spend.
