...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

I've always been a fan of fords, so I was quite excited to try the Ford Focus. The Ford Focus covers all of thos points. I liked driving it- it handles both town driving and moterways very well, cruises at 70, and is fairly nippy. The focus feels very solid around you, which is very nice for long trips on the motorway! Review of Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi Hatchback

The best all-round car in it's class?

Advantages: In-gear grunt, refinement, economy
Disadvantages: It's just another Focus

...the negative points about my time with the car: It has an appitite for front tyres when driven.... correctly :-) A Ford service bod told me to expect not much more than 15,000 miles out of a set of front tyres due to the weight and torque of the engine and the suspension setup. This has been borne out by my experience so far - I have just started my third set of tyres and am just coming up to 35,000 miles. It is worth noting that the car is quite tyre sensitive. My first tyres were Goodyear NCT's which were good all-rounders. The next set were Avon ZT-1's (I think, definately Avons though) which brought more steering weight and higher fuel consumption but were very reistant to understeer. My current front tyres are Pirelli P600's which seem to be ideal for the car, a good grip, economy and handling balance. Reliability has been boringly...

Clinique are All About Eyes

Advantages: Tones skin, nice silky texture, diminishes dark circles
Disadvantages: Doesn't rid me completely of the dark circles, no SPF

The government seem to be focusing on reducing congestion by taxing us more and creating bands according to emission levels, since when has road maintenance got to do with emissions ? The latest announcement by the Liberal Democrats on the 19th has fuelled me to post this, they plan on charging high emission vehicles £2000 road tax ! what the hell has that got to with road maintenance ? ...Being a skinflint, I got mine cheap off a market stall, As it was a bargain, I decided to give it a go, instead of the stuff I usually use - Car Plan, although I have always been happy with it, I have heard people "wax" lyrical about Mer but never used it. Glad I gave it a try now. The polish is suitable for all paint finishes, including metallic, you can also use it on your caravan, bike, upvc windows or anywhere else you need a good shine. The polish comes in a plastic container, coloured blue, in the following sizes, half litre, one litre, three litres, and the massive trade size of ten litres. Recommended retail prices range from £11 for the smallest, sixteen Pounds and thirty-one for the 1 & 3 litres, then up to a whopping £71 for the large. These prices are expensive, but the polish is very good, and does tend to go a long way...

Cars - KACHOW!!

Advantages: Great film and fantastic characters - What a film

...Sitting down infront of the TV with my brother revising for my A Levels, my brother then decided to go and get the Pixar boxset from our DVD collection. After moaning that I did not want to watch Cars for several minutes because I thought it would be a terrible film, my brother put the film on anyway. It was his choice. He is 5 years older. Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...
