Advantages: Good story, good twists, entertaining
Disadvantages: Poppy did whinge a LOT

...I'm forever browsing Amazon for the latest book releases to try to find something new that catches my eye, and I've been lucky lately because there has been quite an influx on new books on to the market this summer! As usual, I've been keeping my local library in business lol, and the latest one I've taken out is "The Model Wife" by an author I've not read before, Julia Llewellyn. It sounded good, and I looked forward to reading it, so here's the review. Poppy Norton is a bit of a cliché, even she admits it. She was unlucky in love until she met News Presenter, father of 3 Luke Norton. The two begin a relationship on the sly, and accidentally Poppy falls pregnant. Luke decides to leave his wife Hannah to set up home with Poppy but soon finds out life with a young model and their newborn daughter doesn't quite match up to his twenty...

Role Models

Advantages: The Cast, Funny
Disadvantages: None (Gayle will annoy you)

...an excellent choice to go along with Seann Willaim Scott. Danny is the more serious of the two, but is still irresponsible. I've liked Paul Rudd in all the other roles he has played and this is no exception, mainly because this is the sort of role he is used to playing. The sarcastic, laid back guy, although he isn't quite so laid back in this movie. Augie - As with the previous two, Christopher Mintz-Plasse is perfect for the role of Augie. He's in his late teens and has no friends except his friends from the make-belief world he spends his time in. Ronnie - Possibly the star of the movie. I've never heard of Bobb'e J. Thompson before, but I think he may be appearing in more movies to come. Playing a disobedient, single parent child, Bobb'e J. Thompson is completely believable. Gayle - Jane Lynch plays her part exceptionally well...

Advantages: Entertaining
Disadvantages: On MTV - so if you haven't got Satellite you can't watch it

If I can use it then I would have thought that, unless you have ultra sensitive skin, it is suitable for all. ****Conclusion**** Overall this is a great product that stops those fly-away hairs and helps you maintain your hair style but also allows you to re-style or re-shape as required. If you want it to it will last all day but it won't set your hair so hard you can't do anything else with it. Even with every-day use, sometimes twice a day, a 150ml tub of Brylcreem lasts me over two months representing great value for money....

...When sorting out my dads possessions we discovered a couple of corgi model cars one was a model of a ford model T van with Lyons tea advertising on its side. Corgi is a Northampton firm that started making colorful pressed metal toys in 1930. In 1956 the first corgi model cars appeared. These cars are now collector's pieces. The corgi Lyons tea van that I found was made around 1985. It was made as a collector's model. These cars are not really made for young children but for those aged over 14. This model van measures 9cm long by 4cm wide it is 5 cm tall. This van is I believe a true copy of a Ford model T van. The Lyons tea van is made of a blue dye cast metal. On the side of the van are the Lyons name in gold and the company address in black. The roof of the van is white the radiator trim gold the wheels gold with black...

Advantages: Kind of interesting, some parts entertaining.
Disadvantages: Not up to MTVs usual quality of programmes, already know the winner.

Models Behaving Badly

Advantages: Good Concept, Fun To Watch, Entertaining.
Disadvantages: A Bit Slow Sometimes

Basically the show is about finding five girls to move into an apartment in London. Thousands turn up for the auditions and it?s the judge?s decision to choose four girls from each city they visit. The auditions were held in Birmingham, Manchester, London and Bristol. The judges are Angus and the editor of Cosmopolitan magazine Lorraine Candy. The five girls will move into the model apartment and go out to castings. There will be one overall winner and she will get a contract with the modelling agency Premier for a whole year and also get her face on Cosmopolitan magazine. America's Next Top Model - Top Show

Advantages: Lightweight and entertaining
Disadvantages: A lot of silly, screaming girls

...I got into ANTM at about series 3. I'm not quite sure why it appealed to me although my partner does joke that I'd watch football if someone got voted off at the end of every match. The format is that Tyra Banks searches the country for about 12 young girls with model potential. Then with the help of Mr J (shoot director) and Miss J (runway expert - he is a man though in case you're wondering) and a variety of people from the industry they put them through their paces and each week send a girl home, until they have found America's Next Top Model. The girls are generally quite silly and bitchy, a lot are very young and don't know anything about the real world.
