...money to go and buy fancy clothes. Cue the Pretty Woman song by Roy Orbison and you have part of the main soundtrack. It must be so fun to be able to dress up like that and have all the shop staff wait on you hand and foot and she does come away with some wonderful outfits, even if they are a bit 90's!! The shopping doesn't go smoothly in the beginning though and one of my favourite lines includes the part where she goes back to the snooty lady in one of the boutiques, this time all dressed up and asks her if she remembers her from yesterday and then tells her she's made a "big mistake, big, huge!" It ends well and in my opinion is a classic that continues to entertain to this day....

All for the Love of a Woman

Advantages: Great story, excellent acting and effects
Disadvantages: some brutal battle scenes

...to be a love story in a way as it was all about a man falling for the wrong woman, in a small sense it was a very old Romeo and Juliet type of story. After saying this please do not let it put you off from watching as the story also featured some excellent fighting scenes and some massive battles between the two nations. I found the character of Achilles was great and Brad Pitt really did look great in his gear. I found he played a quite complex character who did not give too much away but did show us that he had many different sides and was not just the out and out killer which people believed. I found this was more noticeable when he was with his cousin and I loved the bond between them. Orlando Bloom also did a great job in the role of Paris, the Trojan Prince but I did enjoy the role of Hector, the other Trojan Prince more. Eric...

Power of a Woman

...Eternal - Power of a Woman One of my favourite girl bands from old were Eternal (this is probably showing my age a bit but oh well). They were popular before The Spice Girls, Girls Aloud etc and I think one of the reasons why they were successful was because they could actually sing and had some lovely harmonies, with beautiful voices that all worked well together. They were also all very pretty as well so I'm sure this added to their success. Eternal were formed in 1992 and eventually ceased as a band around the year 2000. The group consisted of four members, Easther and Vernie Bennett who were sisters, Kelle Bryan and Louise Nurding. 50's woman fights back

Advantages: Great lead role and rollercoaster ending
Disadvantages: Dubious quality of the film transfer

Seemingly having the power in the relationship you just know that Eleanor is the stronger one, even if the worry about her husband is letting her get led by the reporter at times. Most of the film is centred on these two characters, again a main element on most Noirs is that the male/female protagonists are the focus of the story, and the way they play off each other, manipulate each other and often drag the more innocent one of the two deeper into trouble is almost a clichéd element of the genre. Woman On The Run gives us all this and more. I've bought quite a few Versace perfumes over the years and likes everyone of them because they smell lovely and most of them have good staying power. Versace woman is a fragrance which was launched in 2000, although I had never seen nor heard of this fragrance until I received it as a gift from my husband.
