...I'm a big fan of Ally Mcbeal and this album is totally awsom! It has greatest song from Ally Mcbeal and it's fun and Ally style. I think that it's a perfect gift for all Ally fans. I have this dance teacher who's just crazy about Ally, so although I don't own this album I have listened it guite a lot. She used to play it in every lesson. So it was nice to listen it and sing along! Songs are pretty good too, they have that rhythm they're pretty guick and all! And of course Vonda Shepard has a great voice. There's lots of classics featuring in this album, lots of cover versions, but I like them. Ally has the best music of all tv series, that's partly because of Vonda!... Read review

...What can you say about Ally Mcbeal? Well the show revolves around the title character Ally Mcbeal, whose a female laywer but also involves the lives (generally the sex lives) of her colleages. All the characters are highly unique and each hads there own funny little quirks which makes them highly entertaining and Ally's little fantasy/illusion sequences are something new and unique which always make me laugh. An excellent show which expresses what I think we all are big kids inside, except that Ally lets her inner child loose with crazy consequences. One of the best things on TV.... Read review

...Allie the Cat is a VIP in our household. Made by Lamaze, this little cat has a huge personality and has certainly made a big hit with our daughter who is now 5 months old. We purchased Allie from Kiddicare in Peterborough (www.kiddicare.com) - normally priced at around £10, we paid £4.99 at the time of purchase (May 2005). Allie is very brightly coloured, which is what probably appeals to our daughter. Allie is also just about the perfect size for her to hug and hold and pull around (approximately 8 inches in height). Everything these days seem to end up in her mouth and Allie is no exception. I have found this toy to be very robust and very well made, considering it is chomped, chewed, sicked on and pulled around on a daily basis - easy to wipe clean too. ...I have watched Ally since it started here in finland and I must say that I just love it! It's funny and when I watch it I notice that oh my god I'm so like her. I think there's little Ally living inside of everyone. I don't see dancing babies but I think that there's one true love for everyone. Ally shows thinks that make family speak, like that serie where Ally and Ling kissed. Or some series about rasism or transvestite boy who get's killed. It's amazing and I like it. They're not afraid to speak about thinks like this. That's why I love this comedy who let's people think about important things!... Read review

...Set in the 1940's and full of breath-taking scenery. This is defininately one of my favourite films as it's quite simply beautiful. The film focuses on two young adults - Noah and Allie who have a short but very intense yet sweet summer romance. The two are from very different backgrounds, Allie is from a wealthy background whereas Noah lives with his father and has always worked to earn his keep. With this in mind, it isn't a shock when Allie's parents don't approve of Noah, and Allie is forced to attend a school in New York - hundreds of miles away from Noah. Separated for seven long years, Noah never gives up hope. This is probably the part I like most about the film. I love the depth to Noah's character. Advantages: The only advantages are that the unit-linked life assurance is useful for companies who need life cover to increase in line with inflation
Disadvantages: High premiums, high policy fees, huge commission, inflexible products and poor customer service.

...Having worked for Allied Dunbar and for an Independent Financial Adviser, I feel that I am in a position to comment objectively on the products and service offered by Allied Dunbar. Under no circumstances should anybody take out a policy with this company. The direct sales advisers are motivated purely and simply by commission and targets. The same may be said of all direct salespeople, but in this case, the incentives are massive. Advisers are offered trips to the Caribbean, Thailand and America for producing the highest figures in their region. In my own personal experience, one adviser was helped to falsely inflate his figures by his manager because managers are rewarded for branch production as well. This is what the policy charges pay for. Policy charges with all Allied Dunbar products are outrageously high compared... Read review

...The second volume of songs from the hit show Ally McBeal includes a range of music by Vonda Shepard, the show’s singer. With duets with Stars such as Al Green and Emily Saliers, this album offers a variety of fast, funky, fresh music with some old, slow favourites thrown in for good measure. Being a fan of the TV show I purchased this album so that I could listen to the music as well as watch the show, and I recommend it to any Ally / Vonda Shepard fan who, like me, watches the show every week.... ...Ally McBeal follows the ups and downs in the life of Ally, a lawyer who works in the same firm as the love of her life 'Billy' and her best friend 'Rene' is a partner in the firm that Billy's soon to be divorced wife works at. All in all this is a brilliant and gripping comedy about the lives of a group of lawyers who are all friends and enemies at the same time! Ally has tendencies to slip in and out of reality and enter her own little world which works well in showing us what she is feeling inside. However this is not only a comedy but can be very dramatical and touching, dealing with some touchy subjects well. The cast is all well picked for their roles and you will not be disappointed. ...Ally McBeal has regained its sense of balance. At one time I feared that it would go off the deep end of ridiculous fantasy whose only aim was to increase sales – resulting in a series of completely unbelievable plot lines. However, it is now dealing with some serious issues as well as being seriously funny at the same time. Gone is Ally’s innocent naivety and fantasy behaviour. Other characters come into their own – not necessarily shedding the archetypal card-board cut out. The only flaw I see is if one takes the characters too seriously – whether it’s the now blond haired Billy who wants his wife at home or Richard who lives up to his philandering profile with aplomb....
