Amazing Ally and her Girlfriend!!
Advantages: educational, nice friend for little girl
Disadvantages: she goes on and on and on.....
..., so it doesn't work out as expensive as you might think.
The doll comes with a tea party outfit. It depends which doll you have to what design the clothes are, but they consist of a dress, tights, shoes, a hairband and clasps which Ally calls barrets. You also get 2 clasps with her which are especially for the owner. Each item of clothing has a sensor on it which then clips into a port on Ally's body. She can tell you what she is wearing and what you have to put on her to complete the outfit.
Ally comes with her own teaset comprising of a teapot, a cup, and a slice of cake. My daughters doll also has a cat. All these things are inter-active and plug into Ally's hand. She always comments on what she is holding, usually telling you how much she loves it.
She is undoubtedly one of the ugliest dolls I've ever seen. She has long...

Port El Kantaoui
Advantages: Beautiful Beaches
Disadvantages: Mainly For Couples, Hassle From Local Shopkeekers
...Port El Kantaoui is a purpose built Holiday Resort on the Northern Coast of Tunisia in North Africa. It is situated just a few kilometres North of Sousse, Tunisia's second largest City after the Capital Tunis.
It was built in 1979 with a modern 300 Yacht capacity Marina as its focal point. In recent years this Marina has become a popular mooring location for the rich and famous undertaking their Mediterranean Cruises and the Marina here is said to rival those long established Marinas of Nice and Marbella on the Southern Coast of Europe. It is now also Tunisia's most popular Holiday Resort.
I stayed in Port El Kantaoui between the 2nd and 9th July 2006 and found the experience to be a rather interesting one. Since it was my first visit to Tunisia I was a little unsure of what to expect and as my Holiday approached I began to hear...

DMR -EZ48VEBK; at the price sold refurbished - awesome!
Advantages: The VEIRA link gives the Panasonic DMR the best picture qualities for products of it's kind.
Disadvantages: The connections liable to disturbanced by movement of the DMR; the handbook too complicated!
...Can't say they're 1000% perfect but not far short; the DMR -EZ48VEBK Reg 2 for the Waltham transmitter is little less than the perfect companion to any decent LCD / SKY - or PLASMA set-up (if you have the hackers for one): After being disappointed by several online retailers I managed to get a good deal from Amazon for my Recorder, so to find an Eddy's link on there was sorry but little short of amazing. I have been buying electical goods from Eddy's for nearly 35 years, so you won't get me writing anything but a cracking review; for this reason I give the DMR 4 stars. My only problem is the setting up cos I'm disabled but a neighbour helped me and in less than an hour the whole system was up and working along with the SKY box. Sadly since helping me with this, he has suddenly passed on and will be sadly missed; but the lasting...

EpsonC48 - A Reliable Little Inkjet
Advantages: cheap and easy to use
Disadvantages: can be annoyingly noisy and slow to print
...I've owned the Epson Stylus C48 for over a year now, I think I was one of the first to purchase it. My old faithful Epsom C20SX died (R.I.P. - that means Rest In Pieces) after many years of loyal service and what better way to show one's appreciation than to go buy another product from the same manufacturer?
I wandered into PC World not really knowing what I wanted but knowing that I didn't want or need to spend a fortune on a printer. I just wanted something that would print me out the odd photo here and there and other colour documents as and when needed. I have a black and white laser printer for general every day use so I didn't want to break the bank on the colour printer.
I settled for the Epson Stylus C48 printer very quickly. It was priced at just under £50 at the time and had a colour and black cartridge included in...

'48 - 28 Days Later in WWII
Advantages: Incrdibly easy to read, and less supernatural than his other books
Disadvantages: Disturbing scenarios... what he does best!
...I hope to do this James Herbert review more justicve than I did his last!
I encountered this book in the none-to-glamorous venue of my local Post Office. Seeing that it was only £2.95, I thought, why not?
I had enjoyed the last Herbert book I had read, and I had heard elsewhere that he had received good reviews for some of his other books, which I am yet to read.
'48 is based three years after the end of World War II, but it didn't end in the way that you and I know. It was brought to a a slightly premature end by Hitler, who through desperation to win the war at any costs unleashed a chemical weapon.
This chemical weapon back fired though, as it killed everyone.
Well.... not quite everyone. Would be a short book then, wouldn't it?!
The chemical weapon attacks the blood, and depending on your blood type, you either die...

"Calem" Port the taste of Porto
Advantages: Port lovers paradise
Disadvantages: Too many to try for one visit.
...We spent a wonderful long weekend in Porto. One of our places to visit if we get round to it. Whilst we where there we visited the Port Wharfs, due to the name and my love of Port.
We set off on the Sunday morning, and had a varied trip to get there by the tram, vehicular and the old trolley bus.
We travelled over the bridge designed by Eifel who designed the Eifel Tower, in fact he designed two bridges that span the Rio Douro, both well worth walking over if you have a head for heaths go on the top level if not use the lower level, your choice.
As you are on the higher level looking over the Douro River you have a vista of all of the Port houses, all the names that you have heard of at Christmas on the TV, and seen in the adverts in the papers and magazines.
We opted for “Calem” as it was open on the Sunday...

For Allie...
Advantages: see op
Disadvantages: see op
...To Allie…
You are beautiful,
You charm me with your smile,
You don’t need a man, you know,
To make you feel worthwhile.
You’re there when I need you there,
You save me from my tears,
You hug me tight and make me tea,
And quieten all my fears.
You take me out on shopping trips
When I just want to hide
You know the right things to say
When all I’ve done is cried
You know I’m here for you as well
I wish I could do more
I’d pay your bills and find a bloke
Who’s better than before
You don’t deserve to cry so much
Or think that you are fat
You’re beautiful, you wear great clothes
You’re worth much more than that.
You’re lovely, warm and caring
You are witty, clever, fun
When I need a gossip or a moan
It’s always to you I come.
You...

Assault by an Allie
Advantages: Very real looking and sounding game
Disadvantages: none
...I bought Medal of Honour: Allied Assault (2 discs) for my boyfriend the very first day it came out, as he had been ranting on about it for ages. He had already played the game on the playstation and loved it so I knew it would be a good buy.
I payed 34.99 for it from Electronics Boutique and up to now I dont regret the buy at all as my boyfriend has been on it every single day and enjoying every minute of it (in fact he is playing on it right this minute).
First of all I will tell you the minimum system requirements as there is no point in even buying the game if your PC is too slow:
*OS: Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP.
*Processor: 450MHz (Intel pentium 2).
*Memory: 128MB RAM.
*Hard Drive: 1.2 GB.
*CD-DVD: 8 Speed.
*Graphics: 16MB.
*3D Accelerator: OpenGL Compatible.
*DirectX: Version 8.0.
*Multiplayer: 1 CD per PC.
*Network...

Do not use Allied Pickford
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Competence of people that pack your goods is abysmal
...My husband & I have just moved from Australia to the U.S & used Allied Pickford. We had just been married six months prior & had substantial delicate wedding gifts. We chose Allied even though it was more expensive as we wrongly believed they would be the most capable in moving our things. We couldn't have been more wrong. The way they packed our items was shocking, to the point, where the Allied unpackers in the U.S asked us whether we had our packed the things ourselves because they had never seen items packed so terribly. We had a very expensive fine bone china dinner set which they put in a box with only paper around the outside. The plates were not individually wrapped so no surprises that they were all smashed. The most shockingly packed box was the one where they couldn't even be bothered wrapping our wine glasses & just laid them...

PORT EL KANTAOUI
Advantages: NONE
Disadvantages: NONE
...PORT EL KANTAOUI
This is a lovely port, when we went to TUNISIA we stayed right in the centre of Port El Kantaoui and Sousse.
I recommend the Tuk-Tuks there great.
The port itself is based on an old fishing village, which has been extended – from what I have been told. There are many shops and restaurants, but, beware of the toilets. They are not very clean – for example we went for a meal in the port and the toilet were right next door to where they prepared there food and the toilet weren't' very clean – I couldn’t bring myself to go, so I waited until I got back to the hotel.
There a lots of things to buy there special is leather and it is really cheap, I bought some belts and my dad who is crazy about sandals bought 3 pairs of leather sandals.
The jewellery beware some of it isn’t stamped like our jewellery is, I...
