alpine ida x200

Advantages: good sound nice to look at
Disadvantages: skips in middle of songs, no clock!!!!!, pay £160.00 for great sound

...Ok bought alpine ida x200 as it did nearly all the things x100 does but was a £100 cheaper. after installing i noticed the clock would not display, so i contacted alpine u.k. and they gave me instructions on how to display. I followed instructions but these did not work so again i contacted alpine u.k. The response came back he had given wrong instructins and the x200 does not have a clock. The sound is nice on system but if you want to have great sound you have to buy an imprint sound manager system about £49.00. Then you will need the sound chip aruond £120.00. If you want bluetooth phone connection add another £80.00.if you want a clock add £100 and upgrade to the x100, i have never bought alpine before and never will again. I will say this though if you buy American x200 you do get a clock and a calender. Amazing how we the British...

BRUIN ALPINE - great if your baby isn't nosey!

At the time I needed a lightweight stroller due to my 6 month old daughter having grown out of her travel system car seat and the Graco buggy being too heavy to drag in and out of the boot every day during the school run. Whilst in Babies R Us we saw the Bruin Alpine Stroller. Its style appealed to me and I was even more impressed when I saw the price. HOW MUCH? It was originally £69.99 but this particular day it had £10 off so was £59.99 and we also had a voucher for £5 off any stroller over £30 so the final price was £54.99. Bargain. CAN YOU BUY IT ONLINE? Usually I would buy them from Tesco's, but as I was In a hurry I popped into my local computer retailer (Northbridge Computers in Lowestoft) to see what he had available. All he had on this occassion was TDK CD-R80 discs. There was single CD's in cases, boxs of ten in cases and spindles of twenty-five and one hundred. I plummeted for the spindle of twenty-five as I wasn't rich enough at the time to buy the big fat one hundred spindle. ***Product*** The disc's themselves are light blue with a silver swirl on it. TDK CD-R80 is clearly stamped on it. There is plenty of room to write on them and they can store up to 700MB of data or 80 minutes recording time. Typically you can expect your order to arrive in around 48 hours. They always have a good budget range for sale, usually these are around the £6-8 mark. You pay p+p on top of these though. As expected you can search by artist, title etc, and look through the whole catalogue. There is very rarely a cd they do not have. Prices do vary though, and they may not be the cheapest around. Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't! They do offer imports and rare releases. I needed a pushchair that was suitable for 2 newborns, easy to push and strong enough to last until my children were walking. We had looked at many before deciding on this one. The twin alpine is suitable from birth, has a lockable front swivel wheel, quick release rear tyres, pneumatic tyres with a pump, and comes with removable cosytoes, a raincover and a shopping basket. It is from Mothercare and is priced at £230. There has been has change in the fold mechanism since I bought mine. It is now one-handed but i can't comment on how easy that is.
