...i recently purchased this amazing unit by Alpine from BassJunkies for just over £300. Its a fantastic unit that contains many different features hence the thick user guide that comes with the unit. The unit is fully customizable with the options of changing button colours, background movies, many diifferent preset factory equalisers aswell as manual setupus to customize the sound to your own personal liking. I have only had the item about a week and i am loving every little detail and feature that it contains. The sound quality through my pioneer rear speakers is spot on as with the bulit in equalisers alows me to make the sound perfect. I previously had a sony but there is no comparison to my new unit. Disadvantages: skips in middle of songs, no clock!!!!!, pay £160.00 for great sound

...Ok bought alpine ida x200 as it did nearly all the things x100 does but was a £100 cheaper. after installing i noticed the clock would not display, so i contacted alpine u.k. and they gave me instructions on how to display. I followed instructions but these did not work so again i contacted alpine u.k. The response came back he had given wrong instructins and the x200 does not have a clock. The sound is nice on system but if you want to have great sound you have to buy an imprint sound manager system about £49.00. Then you will need the sound chip aruond £120.00. If you want bluetooth phone connection add another £80.00.if you want a clock add £100 and upgrade to the x100, i have never bought alpine before and never will again. I will say this though if you buy American x200 you do get a clock and a calender. Amazing how we the British...

...It was last Sunday when I finally took a trip down to my local Autoradio showroom to purchase some new speakers for the rear of my Renault Clio. I thought that the extra volume and bass that new rear speakers would give would truly enhance the sound system in my car (which is important for me because I spend a lot of time driving)Upon asking the manager for his recommendation, he immediately answered "Alpine" So without further a do I requested that these speakers were fitted into my car. I must say that they have made a great difference to not only the bass and the volume (which was why I purchased them) but also to the overall sound quality of the stereo. It sounds now like I also upgraded the stereo too! The tweeters give out superbly sharp treble for tracks such as 'Stan' by Eminem and the speakers themselves really do deliver...

...I got these speaker is 2004 and they are still going strong. I have taken them on holiday, to school and they are now my computer speakers. They can be used about every where. Amazing peice of kit. ( been half way around the world) Hardley dented at all. Unlike normal computer speakers or portable speakers these include a small amplifier with the volume control and added "bass boost " controls. This is really great as the speakers can be on another shelf and the amplifier can be on your desk so you can control them without moving all the time. -The speakers- The speakers are really great quality and can deliver a vast range of tones easily. Although they are maybe just a little too big to be taken on holiday in hand luggage (they could be) they are still great. They are silver in colour and have light blue mesh over the speaker...
