...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. alpine ida x200

Advantages: good sound nice to look at
Disadvantages: skips in middle of songs, no clock!!!!!, pay £160.00 for great sound

...Ok bought alpine ida x200 as it did nearly all the things x100 does but was a £100 cheaper. after installing i noticed the clock would not display, so i contacted alpine u.k. and they gave me instructions on how to display. I followed instructions but these did not work so again i contacted alpine u.k. The response came back he had given wrong instructins and the x200 does not have a clock. The sound is nice on system but if you want to have great sound you have to buy an imprint sound manager system about £49.00. Then you will need the sound chip aruond £120.00. If you want bluetooth phone connection add another £80.00.if you want a clock add £100 and upgrade to the x100, i have never bought alpine before and never will again. I will say this though if you buy American x200 you do get a clock and a calender. Amazing how we the British...

At the time I needed a lightweight stroller due to my 6 month old daughter having grown out of her travel system car seat and the Graco buggy being too heavy to drag in and out of the boot every day during the school run. Whilst in Babies R Us we saw the Bruin Alpine Stroller. Its style appealed to me and I was even more impressed when I saw the price. HOW MUCH? Excellent travel system

Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional

...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. Its a fantastic unit that contains many different features hence the thick user guide that comes with the unit. The unit is fully customizable with the options of changing button colours, background movies, many diifferent preset factory equalisers aswell as manual setupus to customize the sound to your own personal liking. I have only had the item about a week and i am loving every little detail and feature that it contains. I would have to agree, this day pack was fantastic when used in the Peak District for a day pack. The packs construction is very durable and versatile. I found that the design was exceptional, it makes use of 'Pure Air Zone back' which suspends the load away from your body, giving ventilated comfort while maintaining stability. This allowed sweat to be wicked airway, rather than stay on your back. However, this is because it uses a internal frame, which does make it a little heavy for a pack. ...We bought the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System after looking at everything on the market comparing costs, accessories, weight etc. This travel system was for my first child so I had no previous experience to help me. The whole concept of the travel system is revolutionary; my mom was so impressed. Having the car seat/infant carrier which effectively turns the buggy into a pram and also means that your baby who has fallen asleep in the car can be effortlessly moved into the buggy, is a marvelous invention! We bought the Graco fro Babies R Us in January 2005 for £190. It came with an auto base, weather shield, foot muff and changing bag (the only thing I have had to buy additionally is a parasol). The autobase is a brilliant idea. You fix it in the car once and the infant carrier just clicks in place. No messing around...

A bulky travel system

Ever since i brought it i hated but my partner wouldnt let me take it back because he liked it. -Car Seat- My son never liked the car seat so it didnt get used much. It scrunched him up to much and even though they say you can use it until the baby is 29lbs my son would fit in it when he got to 20lbs. Purely because we saw this travel system and fell in love with it! The lovely lady in babies r us showed us all the special funky little moves this travel system makes! First (and most importantly for anyone who knows what a struggle it can be putting a buggy down when getting on a bus etc) this travel system needs only one (yes one) hand to do it! It takes a quick click and twist and the travel system is down! BRILLIANT! Although I say this is handy for public transport due to the size of the buggy it is very heavy compared to other buggys so you could srtuggle lifting it onto a bus or train (unless you have friendly drivers)!
