Jordan And Pete - A Love Story For The Modern Age.
Review of A whole new world - Jordan - Katie Price by
cherwaite
Advantages: Fast Paced, Easy Read, Lots of Juicy Inside Information.
Disadvantages: Expensive, Not Intellectually Stimulating In The Least.
...) he picked ladies who he fancied and would hump after shooting. Katie, unsurprisingly, goes off her rocker.
3 - The love/hate relationship with Peters family. Pete was brought up in Greece with a strictly religious family. They are Jehovah's Witnesses and devout Christians. I can only imagine what they thought when they found out Pete has fallen for the biggest fake plastic bimbo in the UK. Before they met they had even heard a rumour that Jordan was a porn star. Cue awkward meeting from hell. They have a very unsteady relationship and never really see eye to eye. You get the feeling Jordan sees them as a pain in the bum.
There are other subjects raised in the book too. Jordans entry into the Eurovision song contest was quite a mystery to me. But all is revealed in the book. Jordan was promised a recording contract with Sony but her...

JORDAN - A Tourist's overview
Review of General: Jordan by
newty1977
Advantages: Wonderful country, with fantastic scenery and history
Disadvantages: Dangerous at present time (Jan '06)
..., restaurants and a plethora of shops.
* Jordan hotels - There are a host of very good quality hotels throughout The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, including top International brand names such as Starwood, Marriott, and Inter-Continental. However, everyone is catered for and there are plenty of fair quality economy hotels located throughout the kingdom.
* Cost - The cost for a break such as the one I enjoyed over a 6-day period can vary greatly dependent upon the time of year and how much you wish to cram into your tour, but it would typically cost in the region of £700-£900. This price would include entry to the likes of Petra and Little Petra, but would not include tips, which are an expected extra to tour guides, coach driver and jeep drivers.
* Customs & Dress Codes - There are no local customs that tourists should necessairly be aware...

I publicly admit to Voyeurism - already updated
Review of B&W CDM 2SE by
From_The_Continent
Advantages: Absolutely superb midrange frequencies and very smooth treble. Neutral and yet very atmospheric. Beats many speakers at twice its price.
Disadvantages: Slight problems with three-dimensional reproduction and upper bass overemphasis. Power-hungry and thus critical with some amplifiers.
...it in my dealer's showroom, I quickly singled out the B&W CDM 2 and the ALR Jordan Step 2, a German-made speaker, from the rest. These two speakers can easily beat many competitors which cost twice as much, and no other speaker at the same price did come anywhere near the performance of these two in my test. Bear that in mind when you come across some criticism in my review.
Treble
The high frequency sounds coming from this speaker are as smooth as silk. None of the harsh high pitch tones which so many metallic tweeters produce. Indeed you are lead to believe that you are listening to a speaker with a textile membrane. Yet it never lacks precision, the treble comes clear and bright. However, achieving this result requires careful selection of the speaker cable (see below). With the wrong cable the treble can sound a bit as if covered...

In Jordan's World, What Did Katie Do?
Review of Being Jordan - Katie Price by
memphisto_chick
Advantages: Easy reading if nothing else
Disadvantages: Sounds arrogant in some parts
...I actually bought this book a while ago as part of a buy 2 get the third free. I had fancied reading it for a while but I wasn't of the inclination to actually go out and pay full whack for it, so getting it free was great.
I'm always curious when someone so young like Katie Price writes their autobiography, surely they should wait until their 50's to write one? Then you think about it, if Katie Price can cash in, then why shouldn't she? She has accomplished quite a lot at a young age and maybe she feels she will do better to continue her autobiographical writings throughout her life rather than wait till she's a has-been and no-one is interested in her any more.
As always, I am an open minded reader, I don't make judgements so here is my review of Being Jordan by Katie Price...
JUST WHO IS KATIE PRICE...

"I Looked Over Jordan, and What Did I See..."
Review of Being Jordan - Katie Price by
Soho_Black
Advantages: Can be bought cheaply
Disadvantages: No real insight into her life
...If you've ever read a tabloid newspaper or a men's magazine, you'll have heard of Jordan. In more recent times, you don't even need to have done this to have heard of her, thanks to her attempts to represent the UK in 2005's Eurovision Song Contest and her appearance in the 2004 series of ITV's "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!"
Unfortunately, the hardback version of this book was written before the former and published just after the latter, so it's the tabloid fans that are best catered for here. I would hope that the paperback version will contain more information on the last 18 months of her life, during which she's gotten engaged, given birth to her second child and launched a singing career.
Born Katie Infield in Brighton, Jordan's problems with men started when she was three years old and her father, who hadn...

Want To Spend Some Time With Jordan?
Review of Being Jordan - Katie Price by
KarenUK
Advantages: It's an easy read and there are lots of pics if you like her
Disadvantages: It's a waste of time reading it
...Jordan is definitely someone people love or hate. Until I saw her on TV in 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!' I didn't care much for her at all. After watching her budding romance with Peter Andre, I did warm to her more and began to see the differences between Jordan the glamour model and Katie Price the woman.
My daughter is nearly thirteen and a fan of Jordan's, so when she received her first autobiography for her birthday, I asked to borrow it after she had read it (and loved it). I had recently read Jodie Marsh's autobiography too and thought Jordan's would be interesting.
'Being Jordan' was released in 2004, the paperback (which we have) came out in 2005 and now she has her second autobiography out! As you can imagine, in her mid-twenties, she must have LOADS to write about - or do we think this is just a marketing ploy...

Jordan Give Up The Fags
Review of Jordan by
the_mad_cabbie
Advantages: See text of opinion
Disadvantages: See text of opinion
...~ ~ It’s almost upon us again! Soon the engines will roar and all the beautiful people will return from their winter “hibernation” in sunnier climes, as the big boys of the motor racing world gear up for this season’s Formula One opener, the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne this coming weekend. (3/3/02)
The Irish, off course, will have an interest, as one of our favoured sons, Eddie Jordan, tries once again to lift his Jordan team from the also ran position it has occupied in the last couple of years into the big boy’s league of motor sport.
~ ~ There have been many “false dawns” at Jordan since they made their Formula One debut back in 1991. They won their very first Grand Prix in 1998, with former 1996 World Champion Damon Hill behind the wheel, and in a car powered by a Mugen...

Get Your Chops Around Jordans Crunchy Pieces
Review of Jordan's Country Crisp Cereal by
bestmum
Advantages: Quality Ingredients, Keeps Your Bowels On The Move!
Disadvantages: Not enough clusters
...Twenty three weeks pregnant and the size of a house, that’s a fair old description of myself about now. This could well be due to the fact I’m eating everything in sight, with limited exception. Craving after craving, never lasting more than a few hours at a time, I’ve finally found something that satisfies me in a way nothing else has for a long time. Tinned sardines on a wedge of cheese, topped with sliced gherkin. And when that isn’t readily available in the fridge, Jordans Country Crisp comes a close second. Well actually it’s in first place, but just didn’t sound as good.
Jordans Country Crisp – Real Strawberries
-----------------------------------------
This has been advertised on TV recently, and as soon as I saw it I was running off to my nearest ASDA as fast as my thunder-thighs could carry me. Sadly the security...

FORD VS HONDA ON JORDAN
Review of Jordan by
coolestjon.co.uk
Advantages: good engines, but a lose of honda
Disadvantages: honda, honda, honda
...After senna was powered by a honda engine to 1 of hes titles, many thought that with Honda in the back of a Jordan they would be champions. It was a very slow start, but with the help of Damon Hill, they won there first race at Spa with a Jordan 1, 2 after a very funny race. The weather had a big play in the matter, and once Michael Schumacher hit the back of David Coulthard McLearn on lap 31, and with the 1996 world champion in 2nd and his team mate in 3rd with no real challangers, the race was set. For one it was nice to see Honda being a big part of Jordan. But after the great 1999 season when Jordan won another 2 races, BAR took control as Honda started to power 2 teams. This slowed down the R&D and after Honda admiting to that they will only power 1 team in 2003, Jordan were going to be the lossers.
Jordan and Ford where put...
