...Altec Lansing IM600 is good product. It is light weight. It is easy to fold up.As its size is compact you can carry it easily.Its sound quality is good. It has built in Radio. It present up to four stations. This product came with remote control. Some of its good qualities: compact design. video out put. auxiliary input. FM radio. recharageable batteries. seven hours of conti. back up. some poor qualities: doesn't secure your ipod from falling out. Alarm clock functions work with only ipod. battery not removeable. Fm band wider than its need. You may have problem with it if you use out doors because of atteries. Its sound quality is good. It is cheap . It is good for people who dont want to spend much money on products like this. It will recomended for use....

More Like a Hi-Fi With a PC Tacked On

Advantages: Snazzy design. Very compact. Excellent sound

iPod speakers

Advantages: Portable and lightweight
Disadvantages: You have to be very careful with them.

...the instructions don't tell you and if you put it in the wrong way it gets stuck in there! 5) A major design fault is the fact that when the speakers are charged via the batteries or mains supply it constantly charges your iPod and there is no auto-turn off to stop it doing this! I have found the more that my iPod is charged the quicker it runs out of batteries so I find this very annoying and unhelpful. Customer Service I can fault the design of the speakers but I cannot fault the customer service team at Altec Lansing. Every time I have rang the company they have been very polite and helpful to somebody who is on their fourth set of speakers and I have not had to wait hours in a queue listening to music with the occasional "please hold". Sounds As Good As It Looks

Advantages: Great looks, decent volume, reasonable sound quality
Disadvantages: No headphones socket; subwoofer volume control is only on unit

...different to my old hifi. This is only a minor thing though, the sound quality is very good, especially the high frequencies with are very crisp. There is also minimal distortion at full volume. The sub is also reasonably good - you will certainly feel you chair vibrate at full volume. Overall, I rather the sound quality very high. Support This product came with a 1-year warranty. I haven't had any cause to contact altec-lansing for support as yet, so as I can't comment on the quality of their support. User manuals are available through their website in case you loose yours. Conclusion I feel these speakers are outstanding for the price I paid, and most suitable for gamers and music listeners who enjoy loud, high quality sound.
