Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec

Advantages: A great car from all angles
Disadvantages: Not as many extras included as I would have liked

...I am now the proud owner of a ford focus 1.6 zetec and for the first time in many years I have actually found a car that pretty muc suits all my needs. I have spent many a time in cars that are too big, too small, not suitable, not comfortable etc but this is everything I could ask for. I own the three door version but the doors open widely and when the front seat is moved forward there is plenty of room to get anyone in the back, even my mother in law who is disabled. The back of this car is extremely spacious, comfortably fitting 3 large adults in. The boot size is deceiving in that it looks pretty small but is very spacious indeed. Perfect for all those shopping bags as well as a childs pushchair. The actual drive of this car is superb. Mine runs on unleaded and is very economical. I can get over 200 miles to £35...

Ford Focus 1.6 - Shocking!!

Advantages: Handling and Looks
Disadvantages: Customer Service, Bodywork, Transmission...

...Two years ago I decided to buy a brand new car, and after much research I decided upon the Ford Focus 1.6 (old style now). Everything I had read pointed towards a really good choice. So I went into my local Ford dealer and a week later I had my nice new car. First thoughts were a good looking car, well built, fantastically smooth to drive, held the roads amazingly well. All of the equipment worked wonderfully well and I absolutley loved my new car. Then the problems began.... After two weeks the Airbag Modulator failed, so I went back to the dealer, and they replaced the faulty part within a few days. They wouldn't let me have a courtesy cat so was left hanging around the dealers for a few hours. All work was under warranty so no cost to me. Three weeks after the Modulator fault I was washing the car and noticed tiny rust spots...

Sweet 16

Advantages: Better than your average thriller
Disadvantages: Not a great ending

...I caught the trailer for "16 Blocks" a while ago, when I was at the cinema to see "Inside Man". It looked like a pretty good film, but "Inside Man" was so good that I was sure I'd made the right choice. In addition, "16 Blocks" starred Mos Def, a man who I thought made a dreadful Ford Prefect in "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and I was in no real rush to watch it. So I promptly forgot about it until recently, when I had the chance to see it. Jack Mosley is a New York cop who, at the end of a long shift, is asked to transport a witness, Eddie Bunker, sixteen blocks through New York from a holding cell to the courthouse in time to testify in an important case. The traffic is grid locked, making the journey tougher and they have just under two hours to get there, otherwise Eddie's testimony cannot be used. Both men have other things...

Review of Apple iPod Nano 16 GB 4th Generation

Ford Focus Flight 1.6 16v

Advantages: Ease of use , smooth gear changes , good price
Disadvantages: None as of yet

...was , met by a Salesman at the door , who pointed out where all the models were and left me too peruse at my own leisure , after about 15 mins i approached the Salesman who was only too happy to help any test drive etc and deal done. Anyway took delivery of the car one week ago and am completely delighted with it , great to drive , smooth gear change , economical on the juice and came with a great standard of equipment Air-Con , Alloys , Metallic paint , CD player etc...what a difference from that old Escort i bought years before , all for the price of £9495 , which i think is great value for the level of car that i am getting ( i know that their is a new Focus model out in Jan next year but don't let that dissuade you from buying what is a great car). Would throughly recommend using Ford again to anyone who is considering buying one...

I Am Procrastinating

Advantages: More drama than you might think
Disadvantages: SFX are crud.

...My room is currently a bit of a mess. Clothes (clean) all over the place, few mugs with tea dregs in the bottom, half used tubs of Vaseline everywhere, a suitcase (empty) lying open in the middle of the floor and a guitar or two kicking about at the sides. Right next to the rather large pile of various coloured nail polish bottles (an art project I'm working on) lies a pile of DVDs I have come to known as Procrastination Heaven. Having exhausted every other way I could think possible to escape actually having to tidy (yep, EVERY way) I glanced at the pile. On the top was a film I've been trying to avoid just as much as the cleaning. After a few short moments (that felt like a lifetime of deciding) I finally convinced myself that I would just have to do it. The movie I mean. I Am Legend - Wasn't legendary for me!!!

Advantages: Some good moments of suspense. Good scene setting.
Disadvantages: Lost it's story to some daft horror scenes.

I enjoy watching end of the world type scenario's like The Day After Tomorrow or Independence Day - big action films, when humanity pulls together to save the world. However, although the film does centre on disease killing off the population, here the similarity ends. ...So I was bored the other day, I don't know if anyone on Ciao is from Belfast but does anyone actually like Victoria Square? I was getting a lift home from uni for Easter and my mum felt compelled to go and have a look. I wondered around bored for awhile then decided to gothinking about going to get something to eatand then walked past noticing HMV had a sale on. 10/10 for the Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec Climate

...I bought my Ford Focus in August 2006. After many months of research I opted for the 1.6 zetec climate model. As a young mother with two small children I needed plenty of room in the back and a boot large enough to carry a pushchair as well as the weekly shop, I am happy to say that this car did not disappoint. Some other great features of this model are -The Heated front windscreen and mirrors which save me a lot of time in the mornings. -The CD player that comes as standard and can be controlled by a lever attached to the steering column, Sound quality is great and the speakers in the back are in the doors - so I can have the radio on without the speakers blaring down the babys ears. -The fuel consumption is a lot better than I expected for a car of it size. -The car is very stylish although very common...
