You get to understand more about grace...

... but it can be quite disturbing at times.

...Grace, according to the Concise Oxford Ninth Edition Dictionary means '...the unmerited favour of God; a divine saving and strengthening influence...'. And amazing from the same source means, '...overwhelm with wonder; surprise greatly...'. Therefore in terms of this particular book, you could ask 'what is so overwhelming with wonder about the unmerited favour of God'!? And this book in my mind...

...Author: Philip Yancey 1997 - - - For a credible author like Philip Yancey to embrace the word ?Grace? in all forms of wordplay and meanings, I tinkered with the concept he maybe on something, rather than on to something. It tells a story that deserves to be told.

Pedestrian direction, miscasting and a tendency towards the saccharine.

...may be ingenious, but there is nothing that makes you feel for him. This makes for an informative, but rather dull hundred and eighteen minutes. And if anyone can explain the point of the tacked-on bagpipe performance of "Amazing Grace" I'd be more than grateful.
