...I'm sure many of you out there have spent a fair bit of your internet time browsing somewhere such as eBay for unnecessary products to spend your hard earned cash on. Well, here's an alternative that in my view at least, is better than eBay... I'm sure you're all aware of the concept of Amazon.co.uk and the service it provides, allowing you to buy any kind of electrical goods/DVD/CD amongst the greater selection of goods it now sells. But you can also sell things on Amazon, and buy material from third-parties rather than just through Amazon...that's where it's Marketplace comes in. When clicking on a product, take a DVD for example, you will be given the price, but also an option to buy "Used & New", which will take you to third party sellers which are not associated with Amazon, just merely members of the site. ...Easy to use website, selling pretty much anything I need or want at very competitve prices. They offer a variety of delivery options and in general are very quick. Have only had a few problems with them, which have been sorted out relatively quickly. They are quick to respond to any queries and are always helpful. What makes Amazon even better is that I can also sell old games, cds, DVD's and the like that I no longer need and make a bit of extra money at the same time. The only to remember is that you have to pay them a small fee for all items sold however you dont have to pay for listing items or if an item fails to sell. Would recommend to anyone both for purchases and for selling old / unwanted items....

...Amazon has been around for a number of years now, and is now rated as the best online bookstore around. When you think of Amazon you immediately think of books but they sell much more then that. They now stock videos, DVDs, cds, tapes, books and now have a connection on their site to places like toys are us. This is fine and obviously should be really good but over the last year the prices have been creeping up and up. Amazon is competing with a number of other online stores and at the moment seems to be coming out best, but if the prices carry on rising like they have been then I am sure that people will be taking business else wear. ...I've only quite recently begun shopping with Amazon, the main reason being receiving vouchers from survey sites and from on here. It's now one of the first sites I look at when making a purchase. ~~~ Products ~~~ Amazon.co.uk stocks a massive variety of products. So far everything I have searched for has been available to buy on the site, although most of the things have been quite common like DVD's and games. I can't think of anywhere that stocks as much stuff as Amazon, maybe not even Ebay. ~~~ Prices ~~~ The prices on Amazon are very competitive and are usually the cheapest place to but DVD's and games, again being usually cheaper than Ebay, I have no doubt that this is the case for many other products. The main down side is that cash back sites don't offer cash back for Amazon, or am I on the wrong cash back site...

I have used amazon.co.uk in buying a laptop, dvds, as well as buying seeds for flowers online. I find the payment processing system to be hassle free, though I perhaps do not like to keep re entering my password the button pushing is very straightforward in placing and paying for a small order. I have had one experience of using the customer service support line which was used in order to chase up an order which to be honest re assured me that my laptop was on its way to my address. On Amazon I do like that the fact that I can add gift vouchers which I earned on some survey websites including valuedopinions to my gift card balance.
