Amazon MP3 is an excellent alternative to 'itunes' and 'napster'

Advantages: DRM free MP3s play on all computers / mp3 players, and copied endlessly, huge variety, good prices
Disadvantages: Download program needed for multiple song downloads, but this is also occurs with main rivals

...I don't have an ipod, I am very happy with my MP3 player and don't plan to buy an ipod. All of my music is organised in Windows Media Player,and I wanted to keep it that way. I didn't want to mess up my carefully organised system, but I really wanted to start downloading music (without doing so illegally). I didn't want the itunes or napster programs on my computer, then I discoverend Amazon MP3 music download. Most importantly - Amazon MP3s are DRM free. DRM (digital rights management) found on itunes and napster tracks, involve software that restricts the tracks being played to the computer they were originally purchased on (and 2 or 3 nominated computers that also have naptster / itunes installed). ...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. Wii music

...I love my Nintendo Wii and love playing new and different games on it. I recently played the Wii Music but unfortunately this was one game that I really did not like. Wii music was released in 2008 and allows players to simulate playing with real musical instruments. You use either the Wii remote or the nunchuk to play the instruments. THe disappointment for me was that the instruments were just not realistic enough. For example, I love Wii Sports because I think the tennis, bowling and actually all the games are really realistic and it feels like you are actually there playing the game. With the Wii Instruments it did not feel like you had a real instrument in your hands and also the Mii characters on the screen just did not react well to the movements. It was more of a chore trying to play the instruments and I gave up pretty soon...

...Easy to use website, selling pretty much anything I need or want at very competitve prices. They offer a variety of delivery options and in general are very quick. Have only had a few problems with them, which have been sorted out relatively quickly. They are quick to respond to any queries and are always helpful. What makes Amazon even better is that I can also sell old games, cds, DVD's and the like that I no longer need and make a bit of extra money at the same time. The only to remember is that you have to pay them a small fee for all items sold however you dont have to pay for listing items or if an item fails to sell. Would recommend to anyone both for purchases and for selling old / unwanted items....

They now stock videos, DVDs, cds, tapes, books and now have a connection on their site to places like toys are us. This is fine and obviously should be really good but over the last year the prices have been creeping up and up. Amazon is competing with a number of other online stores and at the moment seems to be coming out best, but if the prices carry on rising like they have been then I am sure that people will be taking business else wear.
