AMD Sempron 2500

Advantages: cheap, reliable, clockable
Disadvantages: stlii quite slow

...General I have had my processor for about 8 months now and it has never given me any problems. It takes quite a lot of stick from me and handles it no problem. It requires a socket A motherboard and will run at a fsb (front side bus) speed of 333Mhz along with compatible DDR memory (i.e. pc2700) Performance This will run at approx 1.75Ghz at a bus speed of 166Mhz (333Mhz) and has...

AMD Sempron 3000+(AM2)(1.6GHz)

Advantages: Incredibly cheap, reliable CPU
Disadvantages: FSB+Cache could be better

Although the FSB and cache aren't amazing, it wouldn't really be a cheap processor if they were, so I can't really complain about that. If you're looking for a cheap, reliable CPU. Wether you're on a budget, or want something until the X2 prices come down, a Sempron...

Review of AMD Sempron 3000+ / 1.6 GHz processor

Why I would use an AMD sepron over A pentuim 4

Advantages: Good value for money, Can take a lot of stress, doesn't warm us as much as other processors
Disadvantages: Not a very high Clock speed

...programs, video editing, much much more. Over all the Sempron is quick on its heals, Stays good and cool, and from all the AMD's and Pentiums I have used in the past (K6, K6-2, Atholon, P1, P2, P3, P4, P4HT, Celeron), this is the best processor I have come across. With its value for money, good performance, and good clock speed, I recommend this processor for them that need a processor that does...
